Am wearing my new shoes in house today to break them in (the Clarks originals a bit like Cyb's Bodens) but feet are freezing. Have just put on heating actually but don't tell DH.

poor chibi she's come on here for a bit of weight loss help and we keep using our in club acronyms.

here's a list of them

mamaG = a dump (after our sainted mamaG, suspiciously quiet of late ,who didnt poo for like, a whole month and a half) We all breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when she did

Susoup=tasty homemade broth, virtuously supped by those who ate a cream egg the day before

Salado= self expalanatory

klaxon= goes orf if you trangress, usually when cocolepew opens a bag of Wotsits

anymore for anymore?

In The Zone - when it's going well.

Tilapia - strange fish sold in Tescos that has divided opinion on the thread.

bobbiewickham · 16/04/2010 13:01

Biffing out - overdoing it somewhat on norty food

Biffer - person who has done the above

Thank you for acronymic decifrage

susoup sounds tasty

I think this is my problem, not enough veg

when I first moved to the uk it was around the time of the intro of the 5 a day campaign, & at the time I thought 'how can you not eat 5 fruit and veg in a day, what kind of slobby loser etc etc'

years later I am that slobby loser ha ha bloody fate and happenstance

bobbiewickham · 16/04/2010 13:07

It's the UK, we like brown and white food...it's catching.

Don't be ashamed, Dandy - mega loss next week for sure.

Come over here and I'll breathe my germs on you...today I've eaten....

NOWT

cyb · 16/04/2010 13:10

I know!

It usually goes back on mega quick when you lose it through being ill, though, doesn't it?

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 16/04/2010 13:27

Mmm might try licking baby later in hope of catching something. DCs are disease vectors aren't they?

Maybe it will give me a little headstart, if I continue with zoning when I'm better.

Will avoid biffing out when the appetite comes back.

Hope your baby gets better soon.

ZoneArmatrading · 16/04/2010 13:36

Yeah. Brown food. Shiny brown food. Crumbed brown food. Liquid brown foot and flaky brown food.

With brown sauce.

And red sauce. vegetable, yes?

dinkystinky · 16/04/2010 14:06

I did it - I went for a run on the treadmill. 3.65k in 25 minutes. And weighed self afterwards and the zone gods smiled on me - digi scales at home had me at 10 7 yesterday, manual at gym have me at 10 3. So doing a su/shu and splitting the difference might be around 10 5 I guess. Though could just be water loss as sweated buckets while running. Swear I never used to sweat so much while running pre kids...

Right off to go catch up on the thread now...

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 16/04/2010 14:12

Ooh dandy - poor baby and poor you. I was thinking more in the realms of a mild stomach upset that inducing quite a bit of er, she who shall not be named.

Brown shiny food I think is my fav although I like crispy beige food and glutinous beige food too.

Well done Dinky.

Hope you feel better soon Bobbie, but not so much better that you biff out.

Cyb's getting to me with her gold shooze. I feel myself weakening.

dinkystinky · 16/04/2010 14:23

Right now caught up with thread, so....

Well done to all the losers. Lol at BO and her chainsaw...

Coco - 2 stone loss See told you you'd lose if you kept up the good work

Bobbie - poor you and poor DS1. Hope you both get better soon and the loss you get stays off. Lol at your reverse anorexia - ZoneA is right, you write brilliantly. Loved Wolf Hall (read it in 2 days on holiday in November - there was a kids club for DS1 and DH and I took it in turns looking after DS2 in the morning and reading by the pool - twas bliss) - she's got the sequel due out later this year. Cant wait.

Dandy - stay in the zone (hard with ill baby I know) and you'll have a huge loss next week I bet.

MmeLindt - sorry about your mate not making it over. Hope you have a fun weekend anyway.

Reshape - hurrah on the stone. Keep up the excellent work.

Chibi - agree with Cyb, cup a soup is the work of the devil. Go Miso soup (0.5 WW points, result) if you have to do instant crap. Otherwise make your own Mrs - like susoup or my fave soup (precut butternut squash, bit of ground cinnamon and mace, pepper and stock cube bubbling then blend - brilliant and takes 10 mins and no chopping).

Cant remember anything else - must go do some of that work thing now...

dinkystinky · 16/04/2010 14:24

Bobbie/ZoneA - your brown food comment reminded me of a military ball I went to (one of DH's best mates used to be at Sandhurst) - and at 3 in the morning they brought out a buffet. Queue very posh bird saying very loudly "but its all brown..." - it was too

ZoneArmatrading · 16/04/2010 14:45

I am Dawnish from Fri weigh in until Monday morning. Then I am Kateish from then on.

I need to start a piece of work. I would normally preface this by nomming about seven digestives.

Today?

Mint tea I will let myself have seven cups if I so wish.

Dinky well done on run. Excellent and a great distance.
