iMum - I was going to say go for a dry curry dish like tandoori chicken (without the massala) but I see you're veggie so some kind of tomato based vegetable curry - anything without cream - and some dahl?

Just avoid anything deep fried - onion bhajis and pakoras - and just make sure you don't biff out.

Small portion of rice should be ok, maybe go for mushroom pilaf or veg pilaf so you get extra veg.

iMum · 15/04/2010 19:28

Thankyou! was going to go for plain rice and a veg curry or maybe a biriyani{sp?} no bhaji but pos a tiny bit of naan?

and no alcohol!!

MrsShu · 15/04/2010 19:29

yes deffo veggie curry ot tandoori chicken and salad

dont let them tempt oyu

noddyholder · 15/04/2010 19:31

Cheese I can hardly call it a salad New potatoes slow roast honey pork belly chorizo and a bit of rocket It was small though which was its saving grace Dp was sitting opposite me eating a blue cheese burger and big fat chips!

MrsShu · 15/04/2010 19:31

god they are being pretty vile to a student on the ltd collection thread

bobbiewickham · 15/04/2010 19:32

I know!

I've just apologised to her.

Poor thing.

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/04/2010 19:58

I haven't had a coke for over a week now.

Why can you only buy shit food at tourismo attractions in the UK?

Shall we start a campaign a la Jamie O?

chibi · 15/04/2010 20:05

i am 5 ft 6

can you drink green tea when you are breastfeeding or is it forbidden

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 20:10

ffs all this curry talk has put me right in the mood for one. dh has just left to pick it up. you people...

i was all for venessa until she cheeked ruddynorah, who isn't exactly talking off the top of her head...

dinkystinky · 15/04/2010 20:10

imum - avoid the naans at all costs - they're full of ghee and calorific! If you have to have something like that go for a chapati - miles better.

I am putting myself in the sin bin and on the treadmill - not only did i not go for a run at lunchtime thanks to bloody phone call from annoying client but was so pissed off I ate a bloody donut this afternoon - WW points blown out of the building for today - and no it wasnt worth it and no it didnt make me happy. Grr...

Welcome Chibi - not one to talk having admitted to donutage this afternoon but definitely cut out the sugar, drink tonnes of water and look at your exercise - if you're exercising and not shifting the weight you're probably eating the calorie deficit that the exercise was creating or not challenging your body enough.

cyb · 15/04/2010 20:11

I dont see why you cant drink green tea...its not medicinal at all

But I;m not a doctor

(not yet, anyway)

Chibi - its fine I think to drink green tea when bfing but may make your milk taste odd to your little one as is quite a strong taste. Peppermint tea has the same effect - DS2 is fine when I've been drinking camomile, peppermint, fennel but fussy as all hell if I've had green tea or roiboos for some reason..

sugarfreecoco · 15/04/2010 20:23

I drink a mixture of green and black tea, it's nice, but haven't got the taste of just green yet.

I was just going for my bath earlier when there was a almighty crash, followed by a blood curdling scream. DD had fell up the steps, hit her face on the door and put her teeth through her top lip. There was blood everywhere.

Children are so incosiderate.

sugarfreecoco · 15/04/2010 20:23

ZoneArmatrading · 15/04/2010 20:25

Roast turkey (no skin), 1 new pot, mega veg then a sideways slide into two choc bahlsen bics and a bite of flapjack.

Hello Chibi. Maybe reduce the sugar by a spoonful every day or two or will that prolong the agony. How did you do it Cyb?

Was accosted by trainer at gym about my fitness goals and realised I had some. Have free hour of personal training on Monday morning.

Dinky - treadmill tomorrow.
Noddy that sounds delicious.

cyb · 15/04/2010 20:27

I went no sugar straight away

I cant do things by halves

dinkystinky · 15/04/2010 20:33

Yikes Coco - hope your DD is ok and it looks worse than it it is (if you know what I mean)...

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 15/04/2010 20:37

Crikey coco. Yikes. What is it about people on this thread and teeth FGS? Poor dd

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 20:39

oh dear, hope she's okay coco. i really hate it when the dd's cut their mouths, it's so savage.

ZoneArmatrading · 15/04/2010 20:44

Sorry Coco. I send healing vibes for her poor lip.

sugarfreecoco · 15/04/2010 20:45

She's fine thanks. There's always so much blood when it's the mouth. It was quite dep but it should heal ok.

She thinks a fat lip deserves a day off school .

I went cold turkey on the sugar too, none since Sunday. I had a smidgen of a headache today but not to bad. My mates are waiting for me to fall on the floor a bat away imagined bugs.

dinkystinky · 15/04/2010 20:57

Has school started back in your neck of the woods Coco? Ours dont start back till next week (DS1 has an inset day on Monday so we're hoping to sneak off to Legoland for the day... will be taking my own food so can stay in the zone)

sugarfreecoco · 15/04/2010 20:59

Yeah we went back this week, finish on 30th of June though
