no naan no popps NO BLOODY FUN

I hear you, Cyb. Having family round for easter meals, etc, has reminded me that some people do actually eat NICE food. Yeah yeah, and they're also fat biffers, etc.

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 21:02

okay. so how bad is a nando's mixed leaf salad with breast of chicken? wwers?

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 21:03

BosomsByTheSea · 06/04/2010 21:04

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 21:07

oh and c&j are my fb pals natch. more to the point, i was on there before they started accepting any old tom, dick, or harry, or dick.

cyb · 06/04/2010 21:10

not ww'er but I would ahve said salad and chicken is fine...who are c and j?

ReshapeWhileDamp · 06/04/2010 21:11

Aitch, as far as I can see, a 'Chicken salad' without dressing is 2.5 or 3 points (depending on whether chicken was wussy Lemon and Herb, or Medium hot), and with dressing is either 5.5 or 6 points.

ie. not bad at all for a main meal or even a lunch, based on 18 points a day.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 06/04/2010 21:13

Sorry, that's 3 or 3.5 points, not 2.5 or 3.

Not anything to beat yrself up about, certainly!

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 21:14

oh good, thanks. i just drizzed some olive oil, avoided the worst excesses of the majorly sugary caesar stuff. i'm supposed to be on a 'do not feed the candida' no sugar thing, but it's really difficult actually, if you're out.

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 21:15

colin and justin. nice guys, seriously.

cyb · 06/04/2010 21:16

oh yes I like them

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 21:18

oh god forgot the corn on the cob. had one of them too. very poor on the sugar front no doubt.

Gherkin - have a pancake. Tis just some flour, milk (use semiskimmed) and egg and a smidgeon of butter - works out as 1 point on WW for a little one. I chuck some berries on mine and a smidgeon of maple syrup - well worth it.
So plateauing... am assuming you're following Su's portion control rules so the other things to look at are water and diet. Do you drink lots of water? If not, get guzzling. Do you eat the same every day/week in week out? May be that your body has got used to it if you're plateauing. Try shaking it up (with pancakes or something else) - smaller meals with 2 tiny healthy snacks (fruit or ricecake plus some protein) may be an idea - and see how it goes. Would say do some exercise too but sounds like you did lots with your gardening yesterday. Take it easy on your back.

Cyb - good on you for going to hardcore gym class.

Welldone Geordie and BO on your losses.

Have day off today so am going to walk DS2 over to his haircut a couple of miles away and then get to take him for his much delayed jabs this afternoon - fun fun fun. As the child does not react well to jabs (last time he cried for several hours post jab at the unfairness of it all) I may need to resort to chocolate to get through it...

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 07/04/2010 09:14

Thanks for that dinky. I might
Bit of reciprocal advice for you - chubba chup lolly stuck in gob 3 mins before jab. Sucking produces endrophins so reduces pain receptors (allegedly) and might distract from jab going in. Good luck!

dinkystinky · 07/04/2010 09:31

Cheers Gherkin - will definitely give the chuppa chup a go (slightly better than my old remedy of whopping my boobs out for a quick bf when he was younger). He'll be delighted at finally being allowed one

BTW Chupa Chups only 0.5WW points a go.. May be will resort to one myself instead of chocolate if the jabs cause pain....

cocolepew · 07/04/2010 09:33

Morning skinnies

Aitch if you are trying to cut down on sugar make sure you stay off grapes, melon, pears and bananas they are very high in sugar.

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 09:35

back to pre easter weight
hoorah
am off to gym too
lol at cyb as scarlett - you need a streak of dirt on your face too.

I am going as Callan pinckney and will thrust my pelvis

AitchTwoZone · 07/04/2010 09:46

i'm off fruit entirely, coco, as low-carbing after a fashion. if you have any more tips i'd be ever so grateful for them, i really think this candida thing is me but am horrified at the hard work that seems to be involved at getting rid of it.
