Those one shoulder things lok like a towel imo

Themasterandmargaritas · 07/04/2010 22:13

There's a lot of them towels at the moment around it seems. And ruffles.

Bodycon, what's that about? I just don't understand those. Who in their tiny minds would try to squeeze into one of them?

cyb · 07/04/2010 22:14

love a one shouldered dress

Themasterandmargaritas · 07/04/2010 22:15

Ooops a momentary lapse of grammar. See the latin didn't help at all.

Just gonna eat air today to make up for it.

noddyholder · 08/04/2010 08:59

I love those one shouldered dresses so elegant on.Wallis have a floor length black one lovely in summer with flat silver thong sandals esp when legs not looking their best!Cheap asymetric stuff looks awful though t shirts etc

AitchTwoZone · 08/04/2010 09:00

oh balls, Bo, that's shabby. it must be fluid retention, surely? (although now that i'm a candida pimp i should point out that i put on three lbs just from drinking a couple of beers. there's no way i ate three lbs worth of food iykwim? it was yeast bloat. come... join me on the no sugar no wheat no yeast diet. )

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 08/04/2010 09:03

Wow, some great dress porn on this thread.

I found an old black blazer in the wardrobe yest, wore it with skinnies and wedges in the evening to be told by Dh that it was like going out with the Kays Catalogue. Should I thump him? Dump him? or dump the blazer...

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 08/04/2010 09:09

I just ignore anything DH says to me on the subject of fashion. Not that he regularly proffers comments.

BariatricObama · 08/04/2010 09:09

2lbs of last weeks weight loss was some bizarre freak one day event so it really is only a 1lb gain but still v.sad. i am offcamping tomorrow i don't knowif the zone travels well!

gherkin - ignore husband do you have any gay friends to advise you?

OP posts:
BariatricObama · 08/04/2010 09:10

aitch, i already doing no yeast but the no wheat is a step too far!

OP posts:
gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 08/04/2010 09:24

No...actually not! Just realised the missing link in my friendship chain. Surprised as always had lots of gay friends but these days live in ultra-conservative semi-rural town, colleagues mostly female or married.
I need a new Gok.

BariatricObama · 08/04/2010 09:29

the is probably a business idea there. it could be called 'gay fish' and we could bus in teams of gay men to provencial towns to befriend frumpy women and change their lives.

OP posts:
gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 08/04/2010 09:32

Yesss...scribbling down Dragons' Den addy as I type.
Hope you're not including me in your "frumpy women"
