Hello. Thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday, v nice of you all.

Cripes Cheese and Hills, crappo all round there.

Cheese - good stuff on the weight loss, bad news on the shits.

PMSL @ Boobie's thoughts on googie withers.

Hills, best of British to your Dad, I hope he makes a good recovery asap.

Comedy names just puts me in mind of that old Gardeners World presenter Gay Search. Makes me shake with childish laughter everytime. I also have lots of v amusingly named patients at work, sadly patient confidentiality and the data protection act prevents me from sharing them with you. Ho hum.

Today is a better day food-wise.

Breakfast
2 Bananas
1 small bag of yogurt covered raspberry pieces
Lunch
Chinese chicken noodle cup a soup with 2 slices of w/m bread with a scraping of benecol
Dinner
Roast chicken with lemon and thyme
Roast tray baked veg with a smidge of olive oil, sea salt and pepper - carrots, courgettes, new potatoes, red pepper, yellow pepper, red onion, garlic, lemon, vine tomatoes and a few sprigs of thyme.
Will prob chuck a gravy together too and might do stuffing too

All you carb refusniks are prob spinning but I am still within points allowance and have points to carry over ! Hurrah!

I've promised DD that I'll take her out for the day tomorrow as I'm off work, no idea what we'll do yet but zoning might be a challenge.

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 15:35

we had a defendent in ct called Bacardi Ann Coke

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 15:39
Hmm
boobiewickham · 07/04/2010 15:40

We saw The Spy Next Door, gherkin, with Jackie Chan. I expected to hate it, but I actually enjoyed it. I found Jackie Chan strangely endearing.

Dragon next on list. Me and ds1 used to adore those books.

Sorry about your dad, by the way, Hills.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 07/04/2010 15:44

Prosecuted a def called Baccardi once - I think Mum thought the extra "c" made it classier.

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 15:46

how to train your dragon is fantastic.

having seen the trailer for that jackie chan thing a few times now, I can safely say I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than watch that! thankfully dd agreed that it looked bolleaux (not her actual words)

boobiewickham · 07/04/2010 15:48

No, that's what I thought. My heart really sank when the kids chose it. I was planning on a little nap.

But I enjoyed it

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 15:49

i think the fact that she ended up on the receiving end of a prosecution is probably testament to the fact that the extra 'c' made no difference whatsoever

[judgy]

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 15:51

lol boobie. I slept through Cats and Dogs at the cinema with DS1 & 2

MunchkinsMumof2 · 07/04/2010 16:33

Can I join your club please? Really need some motivation as had the shock from hell after weighing myself at inlaws...think head, burying and sand I lost 3 stone (and £600) last Easter on Lighter Life and have now put 2 stone back on wtf??!! Please give me some tips as I'm desperate. Am 5'5 and 11 stone .

boobiewickham · 07/04/2010 16:37

Hi Munchkin, that's not that bad!

I'm five seven and eleven stone nine and a half, so you're probably littler than me.

I think everyone's doing their own thing, just not eating too much.

cocolepew · 07/04/2010 16:44

Munchkin I'm 5 5 and just under 11st I'm not fat, ok I could do with losing a couple of pounds but I'm not ashamed.

Is a LL liquid diet?

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 16:44

hello munchkins. £600 ?! Bloody hell. Total rip off

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 16:45

hey munchkin that is easily doable.
you know the rules - do what YOu know works for you.
dont be a fat biffer

food will still be there when you are finished

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 16:48

at 5'5" and 11st you don't sound enormous. don't be ashamed! stick with us, you'll get there. We might shout at you but you'll have fun and we'll talk you half toi death along the way.

MunchkinsMumof2 · 07/04/2010 16:54

Thanks! LL was 3 shakes/soups a day and one meal without carbs. I would go back on it but cannot afford it and the sweeteners gave me heart palpitations I need shouting at as have a very unhealthy relationship with food and generally use it as a crutch. Without going to therapyesque, I get to a good, healthy weight and then get lots of attention / compliments and panic as hate my weight being discussed and then scupper all the hard work by overeating. See I did learn something for my £600

cyb · 07/04/2010 17:04

munch, those bloody lighter life things, how many poeple have lost then gained on them, like that Slim fast crap

they just do not work

but you know that by now. eh?!

we have all fallen off the wagon to a degree at times on this thread but have hauled oursleves backup without guilt or recriminations

And I'm starving hungry now, what times tea?

NomDePlume · 07/04/2010 17:07

I'm about to put my chicken in the oven.

BariatricObama · 07/04/2010 17:08
