ConnieComplaint · 30/03/2010 12:53

My nephew accused me of being a lesbian on mothers day.. apparently I felt my sister's leg!

Food today:

Breakfast: plum

went back to bed (am on hols & the wee ones are at school til 2pm)

Up at 12, had an apple

Will have a boiled egg after 2pm if I'm hungry.

MamaGlee · 30/03/2010 13:02

rofl at connie

stirlingstar · 30/03/2010 13:14

Hello hello

I've had apple, oats, raisins, humous salad sandwich, small bunch grapes and 12 hula hoops. Please bollock me for the hula hoops.

Pasta & veg for dinner - I'll aim for tiny pasta and big veg.

Have been looking for cheek bones - can't exactly see bones but do have cheek svelte. Looks nice

MamaGlee · 30/03/2010 13:15

12 hula hoops? do you want to be fat forever? BREAK taht habit!

AuldAlliance · 30/03/2010 13:20

Hula Hoops????
Shame on you!!
Do 15 situps as penance.
With arms crossed and baked beans tins tied to you ankles.
And then beg for forgiveness.

(what happened to the rest of the packet?)

stirlingstar · 30/03/2010 13:28

[contrite]

Lardy DH ate the rest of the packet

AuldAlliance · 30/03/2010 13:31

oh good, no more temptation, then.
was worried they might be lying around calling out to your baser instincts.

stirlingstar · 30/03/2010 13:35

You know what? They weren't even very nice.

Now, why can't I hold on to thoughts like that. That's what I need to remember.

AuldAlliance · 30/03/2010 13:37

hula hoops are not very nice

if you're going to fall off the wagon, at least do it for sth worthwhile.

enough of these creme egg and hula hoop/wotsit confessions!

MmeLindt · 30/03/2010 13:44

lol at 12 hulahoops at the end of the healthy stuff.

ConnieComplaint · 30/03/2010 13:45

There's only about 15 hula hoops in a packet, so don't be misled into thinking she wasn't that bad.... and shame on you for trying to pin the blame on poor, unassuming dh!!

I just stood on the scales, post poo, post shower, naked, and am the same weight as I was last Wednesday fully clothed! I only want to lose 1.5lb this week to break into the 8stone somethings...

It's wet & miserable here, just a day for toasting plain white loaf at the fire & spreading thick butter on it... I will resist, I'm certain apples taste nicer....

AuldAlliance · 30/03/2010 13:51

Actually, I have found a magret de canard (is that just duck breast in English? or fillet? I was veggie in the UK, have no carnivore vocab) in the fridge which needs eating by tomorrow and am preparing the terrain for my confession after this evening's meal.

I don't know how to make a low-fat meal with it.

Hence my spurring you on to eat less junk food, so we can all confess to gorging on poncey high-fat stuff.

stirlingstar · 30/03/2010 13:52

It was certainly less than half the packet. And no-one has ever described my DH as unassuming before!

But yes, yes, I have sinned.

If you weigh post-shower, you have to take a bit off the result to allow for wet hair etc. Water is very heavy.

MmeLindt · 30/03/2010 13:56

Duck. Never going to be particularly low fat.

Duck stir fry?

MmeLindt · 30/03/2010 13:57

Duck stir fry with lots of veg for you and rice for everyone else.

With ginger and orange marinade.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 30/03/2010 13:57

Stirling - 175 calories in a packet of hula hoops - isn't that about 15-20 minutes on the treadmill? IS IT WORTH IT?

Auld - duck salado with chunky mango salsa is 151 calories. Was yummy.

Still PMSL at Coco's diet tips.

AuldAlliance · 30/03/2010 14:02

ooh, ta.

mango not v easy to find round these parts (and think of the airmiles...)

Off to google stir fry recipes. Am really not getting my work done.

stirlingstar · 30/03/2010 14:34

Ha - have just been downstairs to kitchen to make cuppa and found that DH left all his hula hoops on plate...

Did not eat even a single one though. THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 30/03/2010 14:36

atta girl

ConnieComplaint · 30/03/2010 14:47

Praise for your dh, what a good, unassuming man you have......

Unlike mine - who baked humungous shortbread last night & I found them cooling this morning!! and only had a tiny nibble

SuSylvester · 30/03/2010 15:03

...stumbles in from school throws bag on floor

I am huuuungryyyy! Lunch was miso soup with mushrooms and three corn thins. And an apple. Bran flakes breakfast, have been nibbling on WW fruities gums since lunch.

What can I eat without falling off the wagon?
