DF, wow that is amazing.

Cheesy, 60kgs is nothing . I'm getting into this dieting watchingwhatIeat lark, you are all being quite inspiring.

So today I have had muesli with plain yog, a slice of papaya and a slice of toast and peanut butter, then did run up bastard hills burning 450 calories according to Lance.

Two gingernut biscuits, really very very small. Multigrain bread with some bizarre scottish cream chesse and cucumber and a coke (my utter downfall).

Suggestions please for a dull pork chop for tonight, am on my own.

Tomorrow is 80s themed party night, what are the rules for a party scenario?

I'm off now to eat a tangerine.

BariatricObama · 18/03/2010 11:07

themaster according to the rules you must rehearse what you will do at the part 'no thankyou i will not inhale that bowl of crisps' that sort of thing

CheeeseOnToast · 18/03/2010 11:23

Thanks themaster but I'm a real short arse so those 60kgs seem to appear in the form of hamsters and massively fat knees and thighs. Oh and my cottage cheese arms. But I WILL do something about it.

Just back from my run, which was difficult and I very nearly threw up. Only managed about a mile. But feel a spring in my step and even more determination to keep this up.

Porridge when I got in, which will hopefully keep the hunger at bay until an acceptable lunch time!

CheeeseOnToast · 18/03/2010 16:06

Anyone know how to check a mango is ripe before actually cutting it open? I bought one on Tuesday and can't tell if it's ripe enough... It's not too springy to the touch, it feels like an almost-ripe pear.

duckyfuzz · 18/03/2010 16:09

thanks lovely ladies, have had no lunch today as didn't have time, now trying to resist temptation to eat the contents of the kitchen cupboards

BlueBumedFly · 18/03/2010 16:44

Am just about to cook a mushroom, aubergine and quorn curry for tea!

moodlum · 18/03/2010 17:27

am just off to fat club. Have eaten nothing all day apart from a penguin biscuit and a slice of toast.

cyb · 18/03/2010 17:32

moodlum mate I think you shoudl be eating more than that!

I resisted conference cake AND conference pudding (rhubarb cheescake YUCK or choc sponge YUM)

BariatricObama · 18/03/2010 17:32

good luck at fat club. i went to a meeting once but i am not really a 'joiner'. my sisters swear by it.

cocolepew · 18/03/2010 17:34

I'm not even going to post what I've had.

I'll buy scales at the weekend, cry and then eat lots of fruit.

nappyaddict · 18/03/2010 17:37

Cheese How tall are you?

Themasterandmargaritas · 18/03/2010 18:32

rhubarb cheesecake. That's a crime against humanity.

Mangoes - they need to be soft to the touch but not too squishy.

I went to dd's school play and drank an awful lot of wine and then there wasn't even any samosas or spring rolls to pig on tempt me. [annoyed emoticon]

Moodlum I hope you've eaten something by now.

BariatricObama · 18/03/2010 18:47

dh wants to grow rhubarb this year. why? it is unnatural

moodlum · 18/03/2010 18:59

I lost 2.5lbs. Double Yay. As dh kindly pointed out, that loss could indeed just be not really eating today, but I as then pointed out, that still does mean I have lost 5.5lbs in two weeks, which has to be a Good Thing.

We don't stick around for the meeting, my buddy and me, we just lurk at the front of the queue, get weighed and then scarper. Too depressing to stay.

largeginandtonic · 18/03/2010 19:01

Moodlum i hope you weighed in and ate LOTS. You will faint with hunger. Eat woman.

Cyb lots of gold stars for you. A stressful conference and no gorging! How was it btw? Did you remain super cool and look stunning?

Blue you are doung really well too! It helps having a friend to go through it with i think. I have my next door neighbour. She is a size 10 tho just wants to lose her tummy (negligable)

Master you are tiny. If i see you in July and you are smaller than last year i will NOT be happy. In fact i may not even see you.

Have eaten soup and walnut bread for lunch, no brekkie too busy.

Made basmati rice with stir fry chicken (chinese marinade- tom sauce, sesame oil, soy, mirin) with broccoli and sweetcorn.

I have a Bounty in the cupboard. It is hollering up the stairs at me.

YoginiBikini · 18/03/2010 19:15

Wine at dd's school play? Not even a whisper of a cup of tea at ours. Sounds lovely.

Rhubarb cheesecake , accchhhhy but rhubarb in the right context is fab

I'm doing well today but dh has texted asking if he should grab a bottle on the way home. I must say no I must say no

Catalan chicken this evening. Dull stuff earlier in the day.

Well done Moodlum

Themasterandmargaritas · 18/03/2010 19:17

I guess this is not the time to admit to eating a bowl of ice cream?

I just can't do it.

Well done moodlum. Here, have some ice cream now.

LG&T , supper sounds yummy. I will bypass the UK in July if you don't see me.

Bounty ranks in 2nd place after rhubarb cheesecake. Yeeeuuuk. Nobody grows rhubarb, it grows itself like a giant red weed.

HumphreyCobbler · 18/03/2010 19:22

Today I have had

cereal and semi-skimmed
orange
ham/chicken salad
filled pasta (horrific but only ate small portion, I was bloody knackered and hungry).

I got really thin last year and am now losing the last stone I lost again. Sadly.

I now intend to weigh myself every single day for the rest of my life, that means it won't creep back on.

SuSylvester · 18/03/2010 19:24

hahahhaha
iw as in cout and it was VERY VERY DULL AND BORING AND ANGRY MAKING

had long lunch so walked into town ( must be a couple of miles)
then ate a egg salad i took wiht me.
no idea what for tea am out of ideas

YoginiBikini · 18/03/2010 19:28

They'll all be pleased you took your egg salad for a long walk before opening, I'm sure

duckyfuzz · 18/03/2010 19:28

impressed with wine at school play and cyb's self restraint yet again and moodlum's weightloss

love rhubarb, hate bounties

HC that is my rationale for daily weigh-ins, it works so long as I use scales not the wii, which tells me I am 5lbs heavier than the scales do obv the scales are more accurate

so far today - rice crispies, plums, orange, crumpet at school, dry roast peanuts and seeds, trying to resist wine, ominous meeting at work tomorrow, trying to second guess the outcome and feeling a glass of wine will help but knowingn it wont really

largeginandtonic · 18/03/2010 19:38

I bloody love rhubarb. It is delish. Not in a cheescake though, yuk.

HumphreyCobbler · 18/03/2010 19:59

I have planted two lots of rhubarb this year. Will have to wait a year before eating any of it though.

CoupleofKooks · 18/03/2010 20:01

su you have been very kind putting up with me
i do need to lose weight but i need to be bossy and so have revamped 10/10 a bit - am moving back there for a bit
can i come back and say things about lipstick? i have found a great lipstick and i can't usually wear lipstick

cyb · 18/03/2010 20:07
