THREAD 2.

Can you believe the first one filled up so quickly?

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 09/03/2010 10:47

Morning all

Just done Claire's dvd, boring today have to do housework at least can burn calories by hoovering.

We need to start a new thread. Dis will probably be along to start one later. If we don't see her today, I can start a new one. Can anyone tell me how to link another thread so we all know where it is? I can be a little technologically challenged sometimes!!

I am being very focussed this week so that I lose come Monday, sticking to eating at mealtimes very healthily and plan to exercise as much as possible.

bebejones · 09/03/2010 11:38

Trimmer - to link to thread, start it, then copy the address & paste it on here as a link. Use the method!

Still feeling rotten here so just not feeling up to exercise! On the plus side I don't actually want to eat either! Spent most of last night awake thinking I was going to be sick! I hate colds, they really make you feel pants!

Have stocked up on my 'go to' ill food, chicken noodle cup a soup! (Basically hot water with noodles in) Its only 90 calories which is a bonus seeing as it's the only thing I can stomach right now!

Really thought I would have lost 1lb last week, was very active even if it wasn't proper exercise. Plus went for a big walk Sunday accross PIL farm which I mostly carried DD for! Maybe all the snot is adding to my weight!

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/03/2010 15:44

2.5lbs - well done LRD

i was at a coffee morning today and RESISTED cakes/chcoclate cookies etc and ate my bgty bar at 1p

JaneS · 10/03/2010 14:00

Thanks blondes, and well done you for resisting. It's always harder in social situations isn't it? I usually find I've gone along resolved to be good and the next thing I know I'm halfway through a slice of cake someone's handed me.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2010 14:31

needs must, i ate and drunk farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to much on saturady so being good now

hopeing for a 1 lb loss on friday

GettinTrimmer · 10/03/2010 16:09

MrsWill well done on your 3lb

LRD congrats on your loss

Blondes Resisting cakes?! Good on you. When you're on next, do you know ww points for eating at ASK? I went there today and had a plate of veggie pasta, quite oily but lush. I said no to parmesan cheese on the top.

I know you're doing ww but it will give me an idea of the calories I had.

We've only got about 40 more posts to go before this thread is full, I can start a new one tomorrow if we don't see Dis.

bebejones · 10/03/2010 16:32

Have been very good & resisted a fried egg & bacon sandwich at PILs today! Smelt amazing though!

Had a hospital appt today which was actually quite positive so feeling pretty good!

LRD & Mrs Will - well done!
Blondes - well done resisting!

Doing chicken korma with brown rice for dinner. Using a cheat sauce from tesco which is part of their light choices range & is actually really nice! Also discovered they do mini naans in that range so giving them a whirl tonight. For WW people they are 2pts, so less than a normal naan. For me they are pretty low cal, comparative to a wholemeal pitta actually.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/03/2010 16:34
Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2010 16:39

not sure where my book is and not on the noreen site, judging from other places that do pasta etc i would judge about 8/10points

Poohbearsmom · 10/03/2010 16:40

I think ye will probably extradite me from the group as iv not been a "good girl"... Yesterday i had a giant carrot cake muffin & LOADS of crackers with lunch & wel lets jus say too much crap..

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/03/2010 17:11

PBM. Hang your coat back up. You can't go anywhere!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2010 17:12

PBM IT HAPPENS, DONT WORRY

i ahd wine and tons of it on saturday, but i did resist choc cakes today so resist tomorrow and your sin will be undone

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/03/2010 17:19

Well said blondes. You might consider taking up the priesthood!!

GettinTrimmer · 10/03/2010 18:29

It was a carrot muffin PBM (not chocolate chip!) doesn't sound terrible anyway.

It took all my willpower to throw away ds's leftover chips earlier.

Blondes I seem to have given up drinking, not had wine since January! What with that and all the healthy eating I'll be joining you in the priesthood - but then again the Vicar of Dibley likes her chocolate .....

Bebe Is cold going? Glad hosp appt went OK.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2010 18:41

i havenyt been drinking either - im such a cheap date

Poohbearsmom · 10/03/2010 22:18

quite enjoyed da wrestle actually Blondes, most exercise iv ad n ages feelin bit happier with myself today altho i ate too much potato cakes at lunch i threw away dc's left over muffin from ystday as they didnt want it but "fat me" did... need to fight da old unhealthy me & really try again! did resist da allure of da milky coffee today & ystday too so thats another baby step n da right direction... looking forward to decorating new thread!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2010 22:20

im happy to mud wrestle with you anytime PBM

Poohbearsmom · 10/03/2010 22:29
Poohbearsmom · 10/03/2010 22:43

dont have energy for anymore wrestling tonight but heres a ((hug)) for ya huny cause ya work to many hours!!

Murtette · 10/03/2010 23:27

Hello All

I weighed myself on Monday but our internet has been playing up until today. I was 13st 3 on Monday (AGAIN!!!) but am sure I'm looking a bit thinner - maybe lugging my DD around is building up some muscle?

For those of you who have done/do WW, do you stay for the meetings or not?

Piste - I had restless legs during the final 10 weeks or so of my pregnancy. It was so annoying. I can't really remember but I think it might indicate you're low in potassium ... I'm sure bananas were recommended anyway. All that helped me were tepid baths. I used to have one before I went to bed and would often have another quick one around 4am! I hope the vitamins are helping as numerous baths aren't really a long term solution!

Blondes - I'm impressed you resisted the brownies for as long as you did!

InThisSequinBraYesYouOlaJordan · 11/03/2010 10:03

Hello, I am sorry I have been AWOL . Thank you for not removing me from the thread - I can see lots of lovely weight losses her, which is fab! Another two for me, now 17lb altogther, after a two week hiatus of PMT and During MT water retention - it seems I can only lose weight two weeks a month!

I have been reading the Anna RR Body Blitz iet book - I thought the programme was rubbish, but a friend had the book and I had a nosy, and loved some of the ideas and recipes, so got it cheap on Amazon. There are five rules; no wheat, no dairy except skimmed/semi milk; no sugar, no booze, no carbs after 6pm. Well, that's not entirely for me, but this week I have ditched carbs after 6pm, and also cut out bread - I've had pittas/pasta but only at lunch. It seems to have helped, my tummy feels fatter and I don't feel as lethargic... I'm going to keep it up for two weeks and see, it's surprising how I haven't really missed them...yet The book has some good recipes in too, so I've planned next week based on that, adding potatoes, pasta etc for DH and the DSs. Just thought it might be useful for anyone who fancies trying something different.
