Hi girls

Its coming up to the first anniversary of my Grandads death and Im just eating

I can't seem to get back on track

OP posts:
bebejones · 13/02/2010 14:48

Dis, that's a good idea, think I'll do that too! Sorry about your grandad

Kayzr · 13/02/2010 15:10

I'm making chocolate souffles for pudding tomorrow. They are 8 points each and I am making 4 just in case they don't all rise. So I hope that 1 doesn't rise so that there aren't 2 for me to eat.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2010 15:13

sorry to hear about your grandad x

i think you should all weigh tom instead of monday

have to say my roasted veg and pitta was yummy - sains now go garlic pittas and they are very nice

GettinTrimmer · 13/02/2010 17:49

Good idea about weighing in tomorrow if you're having treats. Sorry to hear about your loss Dis.

I'll wait until Monday if that's OK.

A bit off subject here, but how do you bold a sentence?

A word: hello

A sentence: hello girls

GettinTrimmer · 13/02/2010 17:49

hello girls

GettinTrimmer · 13/02/2010 17:51

I just worked it out!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2010 18:36

yah well done trimmer

bebejones · 13/02/2010 19:57

it's a bit of a pfaff

Had a yummy dinner of roasted chicken (a tiny bit) with loads of steamed veg & new potatoes. Feeling very virtuous!

Planning on being a bit skimpy with the food throughout the day 2moro in an effort to make up for the mega blow out meal in the evening! (Can't wait, even got some fizz so it's a real treat, very sad I know!!)

Am going to be v good Tuesday & only have the 1 pancake instead of the usual 10!!! 114 calories there's nothing to them FFS and that's before sugar etc!

Foodfocus reckons I will have lost just over 3lbs this week! not convinced!

Poohbearsmom · 13/02/2010 20:18

Trimmer ya got it Blondes thank you for a scrummy supper! id a big pot of 0pts soup made for our tea but i made ur pitta combo to go wit it & twas really lovely i use ww pittas they'r only 1.5pts i made two for dh but he was way too stuffed after them plus big bowl of my yummy soup anyways thanks for da recipe have wonderful chocy days tomoro my dears rem taste everything finish NOTHING! xxx

Poohbearsmom · 13/02/2010 21:21

Bebe how do u get foodfocus to do that? (predict ur weight loss i mean) Does the 114 include the oil to cook the pan cakes? I got a huge shock when i wrote in the olive oil i had been using to cook the onions in my soups or for stir frys etc and it said 849calories per 100g they said 1tblsp sunflower was about 130cals!! 1 tblsp fgs!!! almost passed out id bn wastin so many calories on da vingerette id bn using on millions of salads i didnt even realise i cuda bn eatin proper food for da cals id bn wastin on oil [slow emoticon]

bebejones · 13/02/2010 23:00

PBM - when you log in to foodfocus on the home page if you scroll down it tells you a load of stats and right at the bottom of that it says estimated weight loss for that day. You just have to total them up for yourself, don't think it does that! Don't think the 114 includes oil, but I always fry with fry light so thats only a couple of cals extra! Fry light is the way to go, although do use sunflower oil in stir frys but prob about half tbsp & I wipe it round the wok.

bebejones · 13/02/2010 23:01

Obviously don't use the fry light on salads though! YUK! Just use balsamic vinegar on salad...tiny drizzle!

Kayzr · 14/02/2010 06:43

Morning,

I weighed myself this morning and I have put half a pound on. But I am not bothered as it's that time of the month and I always put on.

I weighed and I am exactly the same! Due AF this week though, so am bound to have put on by the end of it!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2010 11:58

BEBE pancakes are only milk, flour+egg, they cant be high in fat etc, bit like yorkies (pudding not choco lol) they are 1 p on ww, obv pancakes are bigger - use swaatner+lemon juice for o points topping

PBM welcome - my veggies were yummy and really filled me up, tho dh did say i stunk after eating my garlic pitta, but tough - i havent seen ww pittas

salad cream light for salads for me - worth a point

KAYZR tofm does sometimes cause water rentention - sure by next week, you will be loosing again

BEBE again lol same advice as kayzr

I have done my claire dvd this morning, wipes sweat and dribble (from watching naked men) i will be having roasted veg again for lunch, wil try and eat about 2pm and then can enjoy tonight-mr blondes is tking me out to one of our fav places, i kinda thinking i should be good and have a salad - but the bad part of me says bollocks and eat what i want

Kayzr · 14/02/2010 12:29

Blondes I say bollocks to being good. It's just 1 day of the diet.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2010 12:37

KAYZR so glad you agree with me

ok

GREAT BIG FAT HAIRY BOLLOCKS TO BEING GOOD TONIGHT

what are the rest of you doing tonight/meal in/out/nothing?

MABS · 14/02/2010 12:59

still exercising but crap with food, so no change to weight

Kayzr · 14/02/2010 13:00

I am making an indian meal for DH. We're cheating on the starter and have bought loads of Bhaji and Samosa. Also got some lime pickle. Then I am making a chicken jalfrezi with rice and naan bread.

For pudding I stupidly thought I would make chocolate soufflé. I just hope that they rise.

Where are you going?

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2010 13:12

MABS dont dispair - keep exercising to combat the damage of extra food

KAYZR that sounds yummy - i love indian, and sooooooooooooooooo enjoyed my curry the other week

we are going to www.leicesterarmspenshurst.co.uk/

stayed there a few years ago, the 4 poster beds are lovely

if you click onto menu,im dithereing but might have

Wild boar & truffle terrine with plum & apple chutney & toast

Slow roast shoulder of lamb with a red currant, rosemary and red wine glaze

Banana and butterscotch sponge

GettinTrimmer · 14/02/2010 13:13

Bebe & Kayzr second what Blondes said and enjoy this evening.

I went to Sainsbury's to get a card for dh and a box of Milk Tray - they are having a nightmare and can't serve hot food so giving away free hot drinks.

I had 2 cappuccinos, yum! I love milky coffee.

Just had a bag of crisps and 2 milk trays.

Bloody washing maching doesn't work nor does the oven

Blondes will have to do the bit with the fit blokes without t-shirts, feel like some punching!

Staying in this evening with the Milk Tray and dh But unfortunately ds won't go to sleep until 11pm, he also has a cold and is feeling grotty.

How's your little dd now bebe? Remind me how old she is.

GettinTrimmer · 14/02/2010 13:21

Hi MABS, great on the exercise, my reckoning is the fitter I get the more calories will be burnt.

Blondes have a great time tonight, I really like old places like that. I can imagine it is lovely in the summer.

Kayz what curry recipe are you cooking? My curries always turn out a bit tasteless, I bet yours will be gorgeous.

Poohbearsmom · 14/02/2010 13:24

Thanks bebe i never check it properly jus in straight to log food thats why i must have missed it... Blondes id say healthy main & have a lush dessert without any guilt we dont 'do' valentines so jus a usual sunday ere, altho we r all still sick so cant even go 4 a walk or park... anyways da ww pittas r gr8 & save ya a pt & da ww salad cream is half a pt for two tblsp's & is lovely iv changed over to dat since findin out da damage i was doin wit oil... Really enjoyd da roast veg tom thingy anymore recipes? or anyone else invent/try sumit new & nice lately?
