THREAD 2.

Can you believe the first one filled up so quickly?

OP posts:
CoteDAzur · 06/02/2010 09:43

Hi everyone. A week after my last post, and I am stagnating at around 64 kgs. Well, at 63.9 kg as of this morning. I'm still dieting AND started running, so can't say why I'm not losing weight.

Well, I did have that one pizza the other night, but the universe can't be so cruel that it would stop my weight loss over that one naughty pleasure, would it?

Eddas · 06/02/2010 10:05

at the smaller jeans, well done! My jeans are the same ones i've been wearing but they actually fit now rather than me cutting off my circulation to get into them

I weighed in this morning(night out so wanted to do it today and then again on monday) and i'm now 11 1/2 stone so thats 9lbs off in total, yay!! I won't update the list until monday though as I suspect it may change by then

Poohbearsmom · 06/02/2010 10:49

Cote that happens us all, bodies re-adjusting & all that lark! dont let it dishearten ya, easier said then done but if we relapse we most certainly will pile it all back on... Trimmer will have to turn to a carrot next time instead nd da boys leftovers which is something which got me into trouble in the begining... Have to get strict again

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2010 12:03

piste well done on smaller jeans

PBM well done for doing dvd, and what new foods have you been eating?

trimmer well done on carrots+salad

cote often muscle weighs more than fat, so dont forget to measure yourself, but you have lost inches rather than lbs

eddas enjoy your night out and be interesting to see what scales say on the 2 dayes

reliesed i havent been chnaging my weight now, just the weight lost - duh (im blonde)

was wondering why my weight said 12st 11 lbs and im less than that

Afternoon all

I felt knackered, but still went for a run today - ds didn't go to sleep early and dd woke in the night feeling poorly.

DD has a little friend visiting today, I am just about to make cornflake cakes with them. I will resist!

PBM - I remember probably on the last thread Stanley Fletcher (she hasn't posted for ages) suggested making a no point salsa, it was tomatoes, onions, peppers with some chilli and coriander, having it on crispbreads, i seem to remember crispbreads are only 1/2 point each.

Children's left overs are my downfall too!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2010 14:47

went to the gym and now chilling

trimmer i LOVE cornflake crispy cakes, esp chocolate ones

has anyone seen dis recently?

b oat so simple 2 and skim 1=3p
l 3 salmon fingers 3, roasted sweet potato 2p and carrots+brocolli 0p =5p
t chinese and least it will taste nice, unlike last weeks one

and of course some square crisps as my treat

bebejones · 06/02/2010 15:17

Where has our great leader gone? Hope Dis is ok.

Well done on losses!

Piste - hurrah for smaller jeans!

Very of everyone with time to exercise I just never seem to get round to it & then by the time I get the chance it's often too late or DD is being a PITA! Did have a great time 'swimming' with DD yesterday. Although doubt I burnt many calories bobbing about & being splashed!

Had a scrummy lunch thanks to PBM for the suggestion of Quorn burger in Pitta! Stuffed it full of salad & coriander, peppers, cumcumber & a little spread of lf philly with the burger, was yum! Sort of like a diet kebeab!

Been ever so good [polises halo] Will be devastated if I have lost nothing by Monday! Have been trying so hard, have done DVD twice this week & spent time boxing on Wii.

My mother has decided to decend upon us 2moro , so am prepared for lots of nasty comments re diet & what I am eating! . So must go & clean house from top to bottom or else that will be something else for her to bitch moan about!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2010 15:27

BEBE do you not get on with your mum? does she not support you?

regards exrecise, somethimes i really cant be arsed, but i do it and then once doen, i feel good

i will do claire richards dvd tomorrow morning - it took her a while to get weight off, but she did it sensibly - though she did put weight on as got pregnant and gave birth on christmas day 09 - sure she will get back into shape

claires story

RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/02/2010 16:08

Having a sad day here today. We had to put down our beautiful old cat, he was such a gentleman and so sweet. He was about 16. We adopted him 7 years ago but they weren't sure of his age. Everyone is so sad and just want to be at home. We love having pets but this bit is so difficult. I absolutely know it was for the best though. Sorry if I sound pathetic.

Disenchanted3 · 06/02/2010 16:27

Awww piste Im so sorry We thought we had lost our cat recently, he got run over and broke his pelvis but he was saved. Its heartbreaking when you have to say goodbye (((hugs)))

Sorry I haven't been around had a really, really bad week. Ive just been so fed up with everything and diet has gone AWOL.

I'm pretty sure Ive put a lb back on maybe more.

I need to disconnect food from feeling down. I always over eat when i don't feel good mentally.

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 06/02/2010 17:31

Dis - How's your little puppy? Have you got a name for her yet?

RBOTP - so sorry to hear about your lovely old cat My cat is 12, she's on medication for kidney disease, I thought we might lose her but she will carry on for a while.

Blondes - thanks for the link about claire, I really admire her. Wouldn't mind getting her DVD....

bebe - that quorn pitta sounds seriously tempting! Well done on cleaning your house from top to bottom, mine's a tip - dd is cutting paper at the moment, soon as I clear up they mess it up again.

We are having a Chinese tonight, thanks to Blondes's list I know to choose mushroom chow mein (maybe just a few chips )

The chocolate cornflake cakes were just a little too tempting....fingers crossed for Monday.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2010 17:34

piste, so sorry about your cat,not pathetic at all, mr blondes and i are always gutted when our hammys die of natural causes, let alone having to put a beloved pet part of the family down ((HUGS))

dis - glad your cat survived, though sorry you have had a bad week - whats up? xx

bebejones · 06/02/2010 18:27

Piste - how horrid for you all about your cat (((hugs))) Totally not pathetic. It's so horrid when you lose a part of your family, and that is what pets are. Thought my beloved cat was gone last year DH found him near death & thankfully the vets saved him.

Blondes - do get on with my mum, just at the moment could do without the added stress of having her here. DH & I really need some time alone to discuss things & having her here is not relaxing! She is prone to being overly critical, and I know it's just coz she cares but it drives me insane!

Dis - so sorry you have had a rubbish week How is your little puppy doing? I know what you mean about eating when you feel down. I do exactly the same, have really struggled this week, but managed to mostly resist!

Disenchanted3 · 06/02/2010 18:34

Puppy is fantastic, shes so good, from 4pm when he gets home to 7pm when he goes to bed DS has her on his knee, under his school jumper with her head poking out of the v neck! lol

Nothing in particular up, just feeling down so eaten too much...then feel down about eating so eat some more

Really dreading Monday.

Think I might write up an excercize plan AND ameal plan for the week and tick them off as I go. and try my hardest to stick to it!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2010 18:57

a meal plan sounds a good idea - you can then plan ahead and include treats each day for 2 points, such as

a glass of wine
chocolate - curly wirlies are 2p as are finger of fudge
crisps
biscuit

etc

i try to have 3 for breakie, then 6 for lunch and 10 for tea and 3 for a treat - i am meant to have 22 a day but sometimes have 20 if been a tad bad

Poohbearsmom · 06/02/2010 19:18

Piste huny you dont sound pathetic at all when i was a child my cousins lost an old dog of theirs and they had a little goodbye ceramony (sp?) it was lovely everyone said one thing about the dog which had made them happy and we had juice and crisps after and it was a lovely way for the kids to say goodbye and feel less sad dis you have been away but please come back to us and get back on track with us please bebe glad i cud inspire (even if it was only a lunch i inspired) i use ketchup n place of da philly & realy was fab & id no idea how wonderfully low n calorie it was! I also have a stressful mother visit tomoro, but it'l b a couple of hrs & i shal nod n'smile & let as much as humanly possibly roll off me... Goodluck bebe! Blondes thanks for the link & fairplay to ya on da exercisin ur doin brill! Da 'new' foods i was on about r jus normal stuf like da pitta, da oven chips, yogurt, ww desert & a slice of white toast this eve! may sound stupid but im a 'carbaddict' they r my serious downfall bread, pasta u name it they made up 90% of my diet b4 & i decided i needed to go cold turkey &make my diet 90% veg n'fruit instead, i always knew id graduallly re-introduce them but never gorge again! but i kinda feel its stil too soon still as iv stil at least 4&half to go... Trimmer thanks very much for the salsa idea that sounds lovely might try it wit a pitta mmm

Disenchanted3 · 06/02/2010 19:21

just started this... anyone the same?!?!

OP posts:
Poohbearsmom · 06/02/2010 20:32

My goodness by da time iv my message actually written at least ten new posts r up! Have a nice might all hope jodie is havin a lovely holiday and where is kayz not seen her around lately?

Poohbearsmom · 06/02/2010 20:46

Link not working for me dis, prob my stupid phone... Wats it about?

Kayzr · 07/02/2010 08:19

I'm here!!! Just been busy. Not sure how the diet is going this week. We made pizzas on Tuesday and I had a bit too much salami, parma ham and mozzarella. So I have spent all week trying to catch up. We went for a walk yesterday which I got 7 points for.

Piste sorry to her about your cat.

Bebe hope you are ok. Sorry your Mum is a pain.

Dis I am the opposite. My skin has been much nicer since I started dieting.

Hoping for a loss tomorrow but the pizza fiasco might have stopped that.

CoteDAzur · 07/02/2010 09:06

Kayz one pizza never made anyone fat its what you eat the rest of the day and the rest of the week that matters most, hope we all have losses tomorrow goodluck everyone

Kayzr · 07/02/2010 09:21

It does make you fat when the pizza was 19 points of your 23 point allowance

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/02/2010 11:19

wow kayzr - are you sure you counted/pointed the pizza right

i had a chicken+pepper one at zizi the other night and was 14, and very yummy

I have just done claire dvd again this morning, mr blondes is snoring in bed and i stuck a note on living room door banning him from coming in (but he is still asleep) ]

i am going to try and do it every sunday morning, i ff through her chatter and can be done in 50ish mins if i literaly do the 5 sections of warm up, areobic, body combat, toning and cool down

Kayzr · 07/02/2010 11:38

Well that is what the WW website pointed it as so I'm guessing it is right.
