Jodie i'd def bring shed loads of fruit things like watermellon grapes strawberrys and apples etc sliced peppers, pickles with homemade or low fat hummos &salsa and a big box of cereal with your skimmed milk when they r munching on crisps nd choc have a bowl nstead! Nd if ya have a freezer freeze some grapes they take ages to eat & can b sumit nice nd sweet for you with out da guilt

Morning everyone, got the battery problem sorted, so weighing in today instead, back to Monday next week.

3lbs more and am really pleased ( and actually v hungry too!) but now have in my sights the last three pounds of this first stone. It would be great to lose that over the coming week, but that might be ambitious to say the last. Anyway it's a target, and if I say on here, then I will have to try!!

Morning Ladies

How are you doing?

I just measured my waist, and I've lost 1 and 1/2 inches!! Stayed the same last week and only 1/2 lb this week, but what I'm doing is making a difference.

I have adjusted my diet a bit this week, no carbs at lunchtime, a large salad followed by yoghurt and fruit.

I am looking forward to fitting into my summer clothes.

i will measure on friday - would have been 4weeks of dieting - jeans are def baggier - might need to buy a belt

i dont think i will lose weight this week,as went so over my points on boioze last weekend, but you never know

i have been good yesterday/today and will tomorrow - tho am going out for a curry thursday night

Well done everyone, some fantastic losses!!

Back from my mums today, will weigh in 2moro morning then back to Monday next week! I know it won't be good this week. AF and being at my mums to blame. I haven't been drinking anywhere near enough water. Also have come home and DH has had people round while I have been away. The house is full of pringles, mini doughnuts & chocolate! I had 1 mini creme egg, I am blaming the AF just needed chocolate, and it was ^very small! Also had a glass of tesco choc milkshake which I diluted half & half with skimmed milk (and it's made with semi anyway) hoping that isn't too bad?!

Today's food
B Museli with skimmed milk
L 2x Ryvita with l/f philly & half a very small Hot X bun
Snack (after 3 hour exhausting drive home) 1 large caramel snack a jack & a banana
D 1/2 carton Tesco Veggie Mullagatwany (sp?) soup followed by the milkshake and creme egg

AF is a bitch!! Really craving all the things I know I shouldn't have...mostly bread & chocolate! Trying soooooooooo hard to be good!

evening ladies, just popping by (having a break from the VAT zzzzzzzzzz) Well this week's going fine, although i've thought that the last 2 weeks

Today I barely had time for lunch thanks to my Boss I managed to eat half my salad though.

I have upped the fruit and veg intake, today I had an apple, banana, grapes, 1/2 a salad and loads of veg in my dinner.

TMI alert*

I have been visiting the loo more often again this week, that happened in week 1, so i'm hoping that's a good sign for losing a bit on mon.

I recommend the ww frozen desserts if anyone needs a sweet treat. they seem to be 3 or 3 1/2 points per pot and were on offer in Tesco(not sure when the ends) for £1 per pack(contains 2) I'm finding them a good reserve incase I'm craving something after dinner and they're not that bad

I stayed the same which is disappointing but I made the cardinal sin of weighing myself Sat morning to find I had put on 2lbs - cue a large Dominos pizza for supper to drown my sorrows

Back on the wagon now and looking forward to next week ....

Morning all.

Seems we are all finding our way now, and a treat every now and then doesn't really hurt, infact (now don't know the science behind this, but still, thought I'd share) my old WW leader used to say that after our weigh in on a Weds, we should have a treatn (I used to go to pub and then tskeaway (pre-kids ) then start the week again on Thurs. This worked 2-fold.
1- it made you crave the naughty stuff less during the week
2- boost your body metabolism abit (think it's down to not starving your body of fats, if you do starve then it just stores the fat as it doesn't know when it's getting some more, clever thing!)
This is one of the reasons I love being weighed on a saturday

Yesterday's meals consisted of
b= wholemeal toast an Quark
l= wm toast and beans
d= 5% fat mince with tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, carrots, peas, marmite, worcester sauce (just through everything together type of thing!) and some low cal Jelly

3lbs loss since last Monday, not bad considering! Hoping with AF out the way next week will be as good if not better! Back to the exercise now I'm home as well! Def makes all the difference!

Just used NHS BMI calculator ( here ) and I need to be 10st 7lbs just to get into 'healthy' range! It's never going to happen in a million years! I would love to be 10st 7lbs, just seems an impossible task. Was aiming for 11st 7lbs, which still makes me hideously overweight!

Bebe yes u bloody will get there!!! And i will too & iv started from alot higher weight, but none of us put on their extra weight over night & it wil take time & work to get there but we will get there & i really hope we stick together for the longhall

Just did a weigh in at gym on one of those fancy machines. last one i did was on the 10th Jan, when did we start? Anyway, BMI gone down 1.3!! couldnt do the body fat mass as only had 50p.

What does everyone do at the gym, do you aim to burn calories, or a certain distance or time. What do you normally do?
I can just about burn 400 cals in an hour. Not much cos horrendously unfit, but just gone from the fast walking to a bit of running on the treadmill.

Hi all,

Dd off sick today so I will try and do a little bit of exercise, even if just running up and down the stairs a couple of times.

Jodie - I agree that a treat now and again doesn't do any harm. I hope so anyway as I've just helped dd finish off chocolate fudge cake and had a cappuccino!

bebe - well done, fab weight loss

arcticwind - staying the same is OK too, but good luck for next week, I am hoping for a 1lb loss, maybe 2lb.

Poohbearsmum - well done for doing some exercise, hot bath will help with muscle ache.

skinsl - I can't remember what calories I burn, but I've only been doing 1/2 an hour on the treadmill then the rowing machine and sit ups, 40 mins, I think it's around 300 calories, I'll look next time.

beb you WILL get into your healthy weight

even if it takes a year -rem a lb a week is just under 4 stone in a year

i FINALLY unwrapped my clare from steps dvd and did it this morning

an hour long and i really feel that i got a work out,sweated was in 5 sections of warm up, arobic, combat, tummy and cool down and enjoyed it

will try and do it 3 times a week, every day would be good, but unlikely tbh

when i run, i try to do 5k three times per week.
just back from very upsetting hospital appt with ds in london, eaten a burger and chips just to keep him company

Blondes, planning another baby this year...might put a spanner in the weight loss works! If I can get to 11st 7lbs by End May/Beg June I will be more than happy! Then I'll just have to try even harder to shift it all after another baby (hopefully ) That's just under 3 stone in 5 months, sort of possible? Or am I being completely delusional?

I am 4lbs off 1 stone loss already, & yes I know it will slow down!! Trying to be uber positive now, hormones got me all over the place emotionally!
