Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

Well here is the start of Day 2

I am not good at all at taking tablets so that took a while for them to go down. I downed a orange drink and I am done for round 1. 4 more to go

notapizzaeater · 08/08/2011 20:48

The vanilla drink - I made it quite thick and added a black coffee to it - makes a fab latte !!!

ZAK08 · 08/08/2011 22:15

A big no to tomato soup and couldn't face the ampuloe.

Making a list of likes and dislikes!

supermummmy · 09/08/2011 18:39

the worst is the strawberry shake disgusting fav pizza. anyway i am totally starving and so hungry i could cry this should not happen as i am at day 10.

ZAK08 · 09/08/2011 20:23

I think its expected we will have good days and bad days. I have to say I am on Day 3 and I feel today has been the first "proper" day. In terms of all tablets taken, all ampuoles taken.

I made a big veg curry and as i had not had enough water I was sneaky and made it really spicy so it urged me to drink more water. It worked :-)

I have not tried the pizza, I will have to collect that when I have my next appnt after I will return the Mushroom and Tomato soup!!

Orange Drink is a yes and I can stand that. the cheese is also ok. I have melted it on top of my veggies and it actually is OK.

Stay strong and know we are all in this together..

Lindylou2 · 09/08/2011 20:51

Hi all, thanks for the welcome zak08. I'm reading your posts and beginning to get a bit worried, I didn't think you were supposed to get hungry! I'm fighting the urge to really pig out before I start on Friday. The only thing that's stopping me is that it will only cost more as I will have more weight to loose!! I think you are all doing fantastic and will be interested to see how much you have lost if you post it on here. Keep up the good work and I look forward to joining in on Friday.

ZAK08 · 09/08/2011 21:02

Hi Lindylou2

The plan (if timed properly) does not make you hungry

I am on day 3 and doing ok. In fact I have just had a big dinner and feel very full.

Also treated myself to some desert so feel content

The most part of it is will power and that is what urges you on to the next day

Dont get worried and I would suggest you enjoy your final meal and make a start. that is what I did. In fact I didnt have any junk food I think I had a cheese toastie and then felt content to start.

Which clinic would you join

ZAK08 · 10/08/2011 11:11

Day 4

Morning all, Started off well tablets down and shake consumed.

reminder to myself I must drink more water as the plan states you must drink at least 2 litres!

popsycat · 10/08/2011 13:11

Hi can anyone help me i have been on the alizonne diet for two weeks and tried posting on the forum but each time it highlights in red the box that says ' please enter a valid URL' I thought it meant a name to post onto ur post but have tried hundreds of variations and nothing. Its driving me mad is there something else I should be typing in arrrrrghhhhh?????

Lindylou2 · 10/08/2011 19:42

Thanks Zac02, that's put my mind at rest. I am starting at Southampton clinic, I have had my bloods and other tests done already was just waiting until after my birthday to start as I didn't want anything to put me off. Once I start I want to stick to it completely, can't see the point in messing around as it only means it will take longer!
Sorry can't help popsycat but looks like u have cracked it!

ZAK08 · 11/08/2011 12:41

Hi Popsycat - sorry for the delayed response. I was having internet issues yeterday. I dont think you need to add any details in the URL section just need to add your

Lindylou2 - Good luck on getting started.

I am now on day 5 and so far so good staying strong and focused on my goal.

slimbyxmas11 · 11/08/2011 13:01

Hi All. Been reading all of your messages and very helpful and inspiring! I've booked my consultation for this Saturday at the Newcastle clinic.

is anyone else going to Newcastle?

Also can I ask what the blood tests are for? What are they checking?

ZAK08 we are similar height and have similar amounts to lose I think - so hope you will inspire me!

ZAK08 · 11/08/2011 13:18

Ahh great news Slimbyxmas!!

I am at the London clinic and it take me about 2 hours to get there but I guess we have to suffer a little to gain our goals. 2 hours then didnt seme that bad when the receptionist told me a client was flying in from the south of france on a weekly basis!!! Wow that is some dedication.

The blood tests are for heamatology, endocrinology and immunology and also to check liver, kidney functions. So the readings should be within a band and all being well even if some our slightly outside of the range the dotcor stated that they are not overtly worried as they know that the diet will bring the values back in line.

Good luck with getting started and know we are here if you need any support or just a general chat :-)

slimbyxmas11 · 11/08/2011 17:39

Thanks ZAK08!

Also I haven't noticed any comments about bad breath?!

Does this happen on this diet?!

ZAK08 · 11/08/2011 17:57

Hi there

You know I had read this would happen but surprisingly I am fine. Put it this way I have done the breath test with my husband and it passed :-)

I had a lovely lunch today and dont feel hungry. the foods are like a leraning curve you learn something with each meal you make

popsycat · 11/08/2011 19:03

ZAK08 - thankyou I have just posted onto the forum yippee .
Hope your diet is going well.

I am on week three!!!

ZAK08 · 11/08/2011 20:23

Great stuff Popsycat and shall meet you on the forum too. How has your weight loss been over the weeks?

Which clinic are you at?

Off to prepare dinner woohoo!

Lindylou2 · 12/08/2011 20:15

Hi all, well first day nearly over and it's not too bad. The treatments were good once you get over the high pitched beeping. Im not tha impressed with the food but hopefully you get used to it. I had a cheese omelette for dinner to which I added mushrooms and haeve got rhubarb and vanilla dessert to look forward to. Glad your doing well Zak08 and staying motivated, hope I feel the same on day 5! Will look forward to hearing how well you do.

ZAK08 · 12/08/2011 21:13

Hi Lindylou

I agee what you say re the treatments, The beeping is more annoying than anything else. The "hoovering" I actually found like a deep massge and enjoyed that bit apart from my tummy area was a bit tender there. Wish they could roller by boobs as that is the area I would like to get reduced but they cant

The foods are a bit trial and error.

Which foods did you get. everyone is mentioning the pizza but I didnt pick that up but will do on my next visit.

I have found that by adding lots of spices it adds a bit of oomph to the foods. :-)

We can stay motivated together. How many weeks will you be on the plan

slimbyxmas11 · 13/08/2011 18:12

Hi All

Well I went for my medical check up today. All ok hopefully and I will start either Wednesday or Friday.

I have a lot to lose (6 stone) - so this is going to take a while......

Any tips for week 1?

Lindylou2 · 13/08/2011 19:12

Hi zak08 yes I enjoyed the "hoovering" as well! I don't think I made the best food choices. I have mushroom soup which is nice and veg soup which isn't, cheese omelette ok, vanilla dessert which I have had with rhubarb, nice and the hot chocolate again ok. I have been really hungry today so have just had the omelette with loads of the permitted veg and I've drank loads of water. I have 2 to 2 1/2 stone to loose so hopefully won't have to be on phase 1 for too long. How much do you have to loose, are you hungry? How do you think your doing so far?

Lindylou2 · 13/08/2011 19:15

Hi slimbyxmas. (like the name!). No tips as yet as only just started myself, on day 2 today. I think I will get a few extra boxes of food next week so that I can change them around a bit. If anything else occurs to me I'll let you know.

Lindylou2 · 13/08/2011 19:17

Hi again Zak08 you said the other day that you had a really nice lunch, what did you have, as I said before I'm not great with food so any tips to make the packets taste better and fill u up more woul be really appreciated.

ZAK08 · 13/08/2011 19:57

Hi there all

Good to see you here

Lindylou2 - I have about 21/1 stones to lose. I was in Boots yesterday and sneakliy had a go on one of the weigh machines they have. the Slip said I lost 2 Kg!!!! that was on Day 5 so I think I am ok. I have about 4 1/2 stone to lose so going to try and speed up my losses by going to the gym. I went to Spin class this morning. Ouch indeed!!

My lunches are varied but the nice lunch I had the other day was the Mushroom soup with some side of roasted vegetables. But to add some pazazz to the savoury packs I add a few drops of Tabasco and this spices things up which also makes you drink more water. How are you getting on with the tablets in the morning. I am not very good with tablets and really have to focus myself when taking them otherwise they would just come back up! Another top tip I use is that I take a small sip of diet coke after each tablet to distract me from them going down. the Quinton I mix with a small amount of diet coke and it is much easier to down. Hopefully there will more tips to follow and we can support each other through out weight losses

SlimbyXmas - Top tip at the moment is to remidn yourself to drink lots of water and it will take a few weeks to get the foods sorted out and a final list of likes and dislikes.

My weekly appointment should have been Monday but I am away with work so my second appointment will really be day 10 on wednesday. Fingers Crossed and may try to fit in another gym class before then.

Best wishes

ZAK08 · 13/08/2011 19:59
