Hiya all - another week another thread.

I'm not happy today - 11.5 this morning and I was 11.4 in the middle of last week.

Enthusiasm is flagging a bit, but I'm sure it's only temporary. If I go to the gym - or should that be WHEN I go to the gym I'll feel better I'm sure.

How's everone else - it's been very quiet in here lately

Hi Iota and fellow fatties. I'm still feeling really motivated, which is unusual for me but I think it's because I now know what I weighed to start with and it scared me into action! Last night we had chicken thighs in bbq sauce (recipe from Fat Girl Slim) with peas and baby sweetcorn. I picked at dd's cheese omelette at children's tea time so that's not good. I must start giving her something I don't like for supper! Today, 1 piece of toast and 1 apple, predictably enough. You know what I ate yesterday, same as usual except the smoked salmon was in a sandwich and I had 1 sesame snap more than I normally would!

iota · 31/01/2005 09:55

ok beety - I'm going to the gym at 11 am - if you see me on here after then, kick my butt

I've also been walking at least 40 minutes every day on a school day.

iota · 31/01/2005 10:00

Hello wwww - I wish I could walk to school, but it's just a bit too far for ds2 who's 3 - and no he wouldn't want to go in the pushchair - and then it's 5 miles to his nursery - if I was really fit I could give him apiggy-back and jog

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 31/01/2005 18:52

What a PITA Cod! Today

1 piece toast
1 pack sesame snaps
1 smoked salmon sandwich
2 apples
2 glasses apple juice
large tuna steak, hoisin sauce
roast carrots, sweetcorn, peppers, onions and small potatoes with skins on (only had about half a small potato)

And I walked to school but not back as I went back to bed at 2.30 and slept til 5pm (dp picked up). So I feel human now.

Just wanted to say that it looks like everyone is doing well and sticking with it. Sorry I have been absent for a little while!

I will get back on the weight loss. Well I am still trying and have lost weight each week. Only half pound last week as had big all expenses paid night out, and have a ball this weekend!

I have been feeling pretty down and haven't really been focusing on the diet stuff too much. What with selling/buying house, TTC and all this work stuff I haven't known whether I am coming or going at times. Still don't at times...but at least I can see the light at the end. My resignation at school is now in and March 17th is my last day, I think. I will get through it till then - even if I hate each Tuesday and Wednesday until then. 12 working days left...and counting.

I will try and do the food diaries and weight loss again after this weekend and the Ball is out of the way. Promise!

BTW, on a good note. Although we've been going to the gym since the start of the New Year adnd I was so bad at swimming. I have still stuck with it, swimming a couple of times a week and last weekend I managed twenty lengths, in one go (well, I did put my feet down each end but not stopping properly) - week before I was only up to 2 sets of 5. So feel very proud of doing that

iota · 01/02/2005 10:22

Hi hula nice to see you back. Should you be dieting if you're TTC? (good excuse not to)
