Hiya all - another week another thread.

I'm not happy today - 11.5 this morning and I was 11.4 in the middle of last week.

Enthusiasm is flagging a bit, but I'm sure it's only temporary. If I go to the gym - or should that be WHEN I go to the gym I'll feel better I'm sure.

How's everone else - it's been very quiet in here lately

I have made the pot roast chicken (big thumbs up from dh), pork and peppers (that'll be a no) and the salmon with wilted greens (yay).

dont agree with her about breakfast though. Bet thats how she ended up being such a porker.

iota · 03/02/2005 18:57

hiya all

been quite good today, museli, granary ham sandwich, several cups of tea, some raw carrots and 2 apples.

Am now cooking stir fry chicken and chinese veg.

No exercise today, feel too moody, didn't even take the ds's swimming

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 03/02/2005 19:51

The book is Fat Girl Slim cods, I like it, it's here . Enid, bet it's AF, hoping it's the same for me and I will have lost by next Weds. Iota is due too IIRC, hey, so are we all BAD TEMPERED?! I AM! Enid hope it was a successful resignation from the village hall committee.

iota · 04/02/2005 13:45

Hi girls - yes we're synchonising.

Am really BAD tempered today - have got a headache and a runny nose, so think I'm getting a cold. Weight has stabilised at 11.5 and I ate crips today. Maybe next week will be better.

Roll on summer

WideWebWitch · 04/02/2005 15:12

Hey, AF is here and I weighed myself this morning and I've lost a stone since I started this on the 5th Jan. YAY! Dp admits I was 2lbs heavier than he told me on Weds (prob lied for his own safety tbh) so actually, I've lost 2 of those lbs in the last week! I'm so pleased.

We didn't have the red mullet last night, I had 3 fishfingers and a bowl of peas and 2 x 100 cal portions of dairy free chocolate instead. Today

1 piece toast, olive spread, marmite
1 pack sesame snaps
1 tin sardines mixed with lemon juice, dijon mustard and salt and pepper (200 cal) on toast, no butter
1 marmite rice cake.
We'll have red mullett and veg tonight. We might have champagne too but I'm quite proud of my month without booze so maybe I'll keep it for the next stone.

iota · 04/02/2005 15:51

a stone wwww - that is soooo impressive I've only lost 5 or 6 lb, but then I haven't been trying as strictly as yourself, so only myself to blame.

OP posts:
miggy · 04/02/2005 21:10

www-well done, a stone in a month is fab
esp well done for no alcohol for a month, I find it a struggle just on weeknights!

HeyEnidYouveLostWeight · 05/02/2005 16:49

well I have definitely stabilised at 10 11 - pigged out today on a bacon sandwich and then a chocolate brownie at lunch so feeling quite bloaty and guilty.

Weigh in day on Tuesday.

www- that is fantastic news. I think you should write a book 'The Snack-A-Jack and Smoked Salmon Diet' . Seriously, well done you x E

WideWebWitch · 05/02/2005 17:25

Thank you all and enid! Hey, I'm ANOTHER 2lbs lighter this am! But I won't get too excited since we're having sirloin steak tonight and they're quite large. I'm going to carry on the no booze for at least another month I think since it seems to be working. We had 2 small red mullet each last night with veg and I had 200 cal of dairy free chocolate. Today

1 piece toast, olive spread, marmite
2 small apples
1 pack sesame snaps (165 cals)
1 sesame biscuit thing (30cals)
1 tin of sardines on 1 piece of toast (300 cals)
An omelette made with one egg, a tiny bit of grated goats cheese, salt and pepper and cooked with no oil. I had to have it to stop me eating dd's which had cheddar in it and was cooked in oil. Will have a large sirloin steak tonight and veg and 200 cals dairy free chocolate and I won't weigh or worry about it until next week. Very happy. Is everyone else staying here or should I go off to another weight loss thread? Enid, are you at the weight you want to be now? Cods, you are aren't you? Iota? Miggy? Fio? Beety? I don't want to be left alone, muttering to myself about smoked salmon

lowcalCOD · 05/02/2005 17:31

Ia m too sort of back to 10 1

iota · 05/02/2005 17:45

I'm too embarrassed to post - have fallen off the wagon bigtime - it's this damned cold - I feel feeble and am comfort eating.

Had a huge take-away curry last night, 2 sandwiches and a twix (both barrels) today. Am going to chow down lasagne this evening - made by dh's fair hand so no chance of that being low-cal

OP posts:
lowcalCOD · 05/02/2005 17:46
