Hiya all - another week another thread.

I'm not happy today - 11.5 this morning and I was 11.4 in the middle of last week.

Enthusiasm is flagging a bit, but I'm sure it's only temporary. If I go to the gym - or should that be WHEN I go to the gym I'll feel better I'm sure.

How's everone else - it's been very quiet in here lately

I am VERY envious of that iota, I really miss PE, ah, just realised you said Pizza Hut not Pizza Express, phew am not quite as envious now! I want PE garlic bread, a sloppy Guiseppe and a bottle of Chianti all to myself But I won't.

iota · 06/02/2005 18:10

Pizza Express is closed for refurbishment at the mo

Today

1 piece toast, olive spread, marmite
1 pack sesame snaps
1 apple
1 sandwich made with half an avocado and 1 rasher bacon, fried but with all the oil mopped off with kitchen roll
1 pack Kallo soya snacks (113 cals), they're brilliant, great crisp substitute, not that I ate crips but they're fab.
1 sesame rice cake (30 cals)
5 fishfingers (280 odd cals)
lots of peas

Thanks for listening!

OK, so today was not a good day for dieting in the iota household. dh is leading me astray...then he goes down the gym and burns 400-500 calories and loses weight.

www you'd better start the week 6 thread tomorrow

muesli with added blueberries and banana
natural yog

nibbles - mini sausage rolls etc at a lunch party, had about 5 things - one glass fizz

apple, three oatcakes with light philly

steak and salad later.

Am feeling very fat and need to look at what I was originally eating on this diet to shift a few more pounds.

Currently 10 11 but would lurrve to be 10 5...

HeyEnidYouveLostWeight · 06/02/2005 18:45

went on long walk today (about an hour, very quickly with dd1 on bike and dd2 in backpack on dhs shoulders) and have just come back from swimming so hopefully some calories expended there

HeyEnidYouveLostWeight · 08/02/2005 08:58

still bloody 10 11

WideWebWitch · 08/02/2005 09:37

But hey Enid, at least you haven't put on any weight! (she said in a glass half full sort of way!). On Sunday night I was awful, ds brought a tin of Quality Street back from his dads and I ate about 30 toffees AND 2 mini boxes of Smarties . Tried to make up for it yesterday:

1 piece toast
1 pack soya crisp things 113 cals
3 apples
few grapes
few strawberries
Made veggie bolognaise which was horrible, I think MI is right about veggie meat substitutes being crap, so I didn't eat much of it and it was only made of soya mince, onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato puree, roasted red peppers and spices. Some oil but not much.
200 cal of dairy free chocolate
And I walked for at least an hour and a half, to school and back both ways and did LOADS of housework, my hall, stairs and bathroom are the cleanest they've been ever I think. Still no booze. I might save my weighing for another week or two I think.

iota · 08/02/2005 09:42

why aren't we on week 6?

Diet is out of the window at the mo - the last 3 days have been bad, but very tasty

OP posts:
chocfreeclary · 08/02/2005 09:46

I'm still 10st 7 so that's a bit depressing....
bad night last night, very late pizza (pizza express La Reine, sorry WWW)
However have been runnign a lot (registered for Race for Life in May) so that's something.
So far today (but only 9.45) I've had a banana, bunch of grapes and 2 x glasses of water.

FineFigureFio · 08/02/2005 12:15

I have lost another 8 lb, so 16lb in total

iota · 08/02/2005 13:10

AuntyQuated · 08/02/2005 13:42

i am stuck...
9 12 again this week, would lkike to get down to 9 5/7 and stay like that over the summer

maybe it's the bread

FineFigureFio · 08/02/2005 15:48

cod

turquoise · 08/02/2005 23:23

I'm back up to 9.12 again but blame my mother and english chocolate. Back in charge of my own fridge again with only revolting Hersheys to (not) tempt me, so starting '5 days to a flat stomach' tomorrow.
Congratulations and respect to all you dedicated and disciplined people btw ( I thought of wwww when I ate an obscene amount of chicken skin recently)

WideWebWitch · 09/02/2005 07:39

Oh turquoise, I dream of eating obscene amounts of chicken skin, I reckon I could skin a hot just-roasted chick and stuff it in a shockingly short time.

Yesterday

1 piece toast, olive spread, marmite
1 pack sesame snaps (165 cals)
1 apple
1 pear
a few grapes
a 1 egg omelette cooked with no oil, with a whole roasted red pepper chucked in
1 packet Kallo soya bites (113 cal)
1 small box raisins
carrots
green beans
peas
5 fishfingers
200 cal dairy free chocolate
And I walked fast, pushing a buggy for at least an hour and a half.

HeyEnidYouveLostWeight · 09/02/2005 08:15

www cant you do that Fat Girl Slim thing and have a day when you only eat chicken skin?

WideWebWitch · 09/02/2005 08:16

Well when you put it like that it sounds revolting enid, oooh, aversion therapy, marvellous!
