FineFigureFio · 27/01/2005 12:36

oh and i have a bit of a confession........

you know how i am market research junkie ? (well they do pay you for it in canterbury)
well i said i would take part in it today and I had to try a chocolate drink, aaarrrrggghhhhh
but they gave me boots vouchers and I bought a lovely "shapers" lunch as a treat

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 27/01/2005 18:31

Here's my food diary for today:

1 piece of toast, olive spread, marmite
a sandwich with prosciutto (32 cals/slice) and dijon mustard, so total of 300 odd cals
An apple
a sesame snap (165 cals)
half a box of raisins
And then it all went wrong when I made gorgeous potato wedges for several children (friends for tea), which had been roasted in oil in the oven and I just couldn't stop, I ate about 30 wedges, so that's probably about 7 small potatoes and they had oil on them AND I dipped them in bbq sauce. So that's me for today I think. I might have a few fishfingers or a bowl of peas later if I get hungry but the potato lapse was unforgiveable . They were really nice though!

Is it Friday yet? I'm having a chinese takeaway tonight

lowcalCOD · 27/01/2005 18:33

iota! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

iota · 27/01/2005 18:38

For some reason I've been really hungry for the last couple of days, but was 11.4 this morning so have lost 6 lb so far.

Today I have eaten 3 slices of seeded batch (2 with low cal hummus on), a banana, an apple, several cherry tomatos and half a cookie (just now). I've drunk 2 cups of tea, one lemon infusion and a small white coffee, plus loads of water.

am planning to enjoy the chinese takeaway

iota · 27/01/2005 18:39

sorry Cod, but sometimes a girl's gotta eat

iota · 27/01/2005 18:42

what's up lowcal - have you caught the kids sickness bug?

I had a yummy chinese takeaway last night - ribs, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, chilli chicken and noodles. I dread to think how many calories that lot was, but at least my trousers still fit

lowcalCOD · 28/01/2005 14:42

y snotty and cold

iota · 28/01/2005 14:44

well lokk on the bright side - you'll be off your food then, since you won't be able to taste it

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 28/01/2005 14:44

What's wrong with you cod? Iota, that sounds nice!
today:

1 piece toast, olive spread, marmite
1 apple
50g smoked salmon
half an avocado
1 pack sesame snaps (165 cal)
tonight I'm having home made lentil hotpot which only contains red lentils, carrots, tomatoes, onion, garlic, puree, veg stock and olive oil so isn't too bad and is healthy. Still no booze, day 23!

iota · 28/01/2005 14:51

wwww - theres a bit of a 'theme' going in your diet

I've has a bowl of museli, 2 teas, 1 coffee, low cal soft cheese on brown and a ww muffin (plied with it whilst out having coffee).

I'm cooking chicken this evening - probably coq au vin for the ILs, so will eat lots of veg with it

iota · 28/01/2005 14:52
