So as we are about to embark into 2024 and our year of fabulousness time for a new thread.

I’m going to begin in earnest next week when the gym is back open but I’m not eating as much this week and mucking out every day for fitness . Weirdly I’ve gone off sweet stuff, long may it last

Today was my first run of the week 3.75 miles, sluggish.

Short walk with dog Mon eve

Next week will be better

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2024 07:33

StilL a bit jet lagged?

I’ve been consistently at the gym but food is still my sticking point. My own fault but my brain is is too full to think. My cardio fitnes is shocking

I doubt it, more likely late nights and PMS to be honest.

Scales this morning 11st 12lbs, even though I don't feel massively bloated, I'm blaming fluid retention.

Brain too full - work/life/family?

2024Hackathon · 08/07/2024 13:09

Weight stable despite a 3 day break which meant eating in restaurants and being away from the Peloton.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2024 15:59

All of the above happier

I've been away since Friday with the family, plenty of vino consumed, lots of walking around too, back to porridge and exercise tomorrow.

Happierwithouthim · 17/07/2024 20:47

Lunch since I've come back from my holidays has been this kind of thing a few days per week.

Weight stable which is better than one of the options…

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/07/2024 05:31

That looks nice happier
weight stable is good hack . You likely need to track your progress though measurements

I’ve by gym going and that’s it. All ok though

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/07/2024 15:03

Happierwithouthim · 19/07/2024 15:13

Negative at lunchtime, I'll test again tomorrow before going to collect dd from my parents

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/07/2024 07:52

Hope you are resting and nourishing

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 20/07/2024 08:58

I'm good, yesterday was just a blip, slept on & off for almost twelve hours was up to eat & feed dog & put ds to bed, feeling good again.

Scales says 11st 9, clothes fit better, a drop is coming I'm sure of it!

Happierwithouthim · 22/07/2024 15:55

I measured my waist again, half your height is another indicator of health. I'm one inch above that now, so I'm getting there.

BMI is currently 29.8

Luckily I'm feeling good and not bothered by BMI!

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/07/2024 18:50

Yeah but BMI is not a brilliant measure so you are likely better than you think.
im doing the gym but not much else. 2 weeks to holiday

Happierwithouthim · 22/07/2024 19:10

There was a run planned for yesterday but weather came in the war, then I decided I'd do it this evening after collecting my groceries but there was an issue with that so it took almost an hour in which time I ordered a curry and am going to feast on that instead. Dd has no horse riding tomorrow eve I'll try get out then instead.

I think the waist measurement is better because that's measuring fat around your vital organs so I think I'm doing well.

Food is good enough here

Happierwithouthim · 22/07/2024 19:11

I've two weeks to my week off between jobs and have a few nice things planned

2024Hackathon · 22/07/2024 19:31

Still weight stable…

My heat tolerance is better than it might otherwise be and I credit my cardiovascular and pulmonary fitness for that.

2024Hackathon · 02/08/2024 16:47

Weight stable. Rather a relief for this as there's a fair amount of stress at present and I've eaten far more chocolate than usual.

Happierwithouthim · 02/08/2024 18:36

11st 4.75lbs, feeling good in my clothes. No premenstrual bloat this cycle, weird!
