Do they still have public weighbridges for lorries?

Do you have a Boots you can get to? Most of them have industrial-strength scales. Some local independent chemists do, too. Where did you weigh last week?

I forgot to weigh this morning so will do it tomorrow.

Was at home last week, but scales too heavy to pack (sure thats ironic! ) will wonder off to boots maybe, tomorow is day off so Im going to kingston to shop shop shop. erm walking is excersize right?!?!? Will spend too much at Evans and New Look!

WigWamBam · 10/01/2008 23:27

Walking is good exercise, but only if it makes you breathless. And it's more likely to be the prices in Evans that do that than the shopping!

yes, must agree. Perhaps prices of lardy clothes will be the incentive to lose weight! One day, you will see me, shopping in Top Shop, not just standing inside the door waiting for little sis!

colditz · 11/01/2008 09:24

I haven't been in Topshjop since I was 16, when I finally put my foot down and said to my friends "No I am not coming in there to watch you try clothes on for an hour and a half, I would rather stick hedgehogs up my arse."

TigerFeet · 11/01/2008 10:55

I think I am too old for top shop now [mutton]

littlemisssensible · 11/01/2008 12:32

Ohhhhh a meet up! I can do Birmingham, I can do Birmingham, I can do Birmingham [jumping up and down with excitment emoticon]

TigerFeet · 11/01/2008 12:33

oh goody... you can bring the coleslaw

littlemisssensible · 11/01/2008 15:44

LOL No Problem!

colditz · 12/01/2008 10:21

Does anyone else feel deprived even when full if they have filled themselves with healthy food?

JackieNo · 12/01/2008 13:05

I know what you mean, colditz - I always crave just a little bit of chocolate, or cake, or something that's sweet but not good for me. Doesn't even have to be a huge bit (though it sometimes is).

WigWamBam · 12/01/2008 16:58

at sticking hedgehogs up your arse

Although I was the same - back in the bad old days when clothes ranges everywhere stopped at size 14, and Evans called itself Evans Outsize and catered for crimplene-loving, slacks-wearing old ladies so you had to sneak in there with a bag over your head to avoid acute embarrassment! I used to end up hanging onto my sister's clothes for hours while she shopped, all the while moaning at me because I wouldn't try anything on. Yeah, right; no way was I going to squeeze my size 18 arse into a pair of Topshop jeans.

OK - the weights.

JackieNo: + 1.5 (total +2.5)
Littlefish: -1lb (total -13.5)
LMS: -1lb (total -lb)
WWB: stayed the same (total -22lb)

Not sure we deserve doughnuts this week!
