It was tough going, I've one session left now so not sure whether I'll continue or stick with the classes from now on.

Bf called and he didn't know I was there & he didn't know what had happened to me!

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/09/2021 07:23

You are all doing so well.

Not2bObvious · 08/09/2021 07:44

Sometimes as they say if it isn't a feck yes then it's a feck no (worse language used) You don't sound filled with enthusiasm for the PT sessions, maybe do the last session - and then just stick to classes for a while? Hard doesn't always mean best.
I'm in my C25K gear, I can't say running gear without feeling like a fraud, what I do is so far from running it isn't funny! Leaving my weigh in until later, as first go has pissed me off - clearly holding onto fluid after pizza and I find on days like that I need to wait a bit.
life, how are you doing?

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/09/2021 07:59

I'm leaning towards that too not

Not2bObvious · 08/09/2021 11:21

I'm a bit wary of PTs, think some of them become like that mate you'd not mad about but can't get shot of! And you're paying them for the pleasure😂
Up a pound today, seems to be really difficult since I came back to see any scale progress. No option really but to keep going, if I'm not losing when I'm trying - not trying isn't going to achieve anything better.
Scales aside, got C25K done, got short body pump done too. Got some quality work done first thing and a small bit of house work done. I'll probably go for a walk to the shops later and get a bit more movement in.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/09/2021 19:43

Don’t forget hot weather fluid retention
I agree if the pt isn’t a whoop yes then give it a break

How am I doing, ha badly. 3 bags of crisps today give you a clue

Not2bObvious · 08/09/2021 20:39

Yeah fluid retention could be part of it. Anyway, low calorie day in the end, no harm. Feeling quite tired after it all, so lying down with a cuppa, lights out by 10.30
I bloody love crisps, I'm a danger around the corn ones, have been known to eat 5/6 bags in a row. No mystery how I earned my muffin/cheese puff top! It's probably not that bad life, are you tracking these days or not? 3 bags would fit into your 20% no bother

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/09/2021 21:04

I’m not tracking but I’ve committed to myself I will tomorrow as I also fell into crack chocolate

Mrsmadevans · 08/09/2021 21:28

Damn that crack chocolate 🙄
Been ok because busy but l am maintenance really l need to get some weight off for my back to men's l am sure it will help. Trouble is looking after mum and Bob is just so stressful , even my DH looks forward to having something nice to eat but it isn't good we know 🙄 hey ho. As they say it is what it is!
Hope everyone is ok 😊 l am waiting for a miracle it seems.

Happierwithouthim · 08/09/2021 21:32

It must be that kind of day gals!

I bought a Cadbury dark milk bar & now I'm lying on bed wondering do I actually want it.

Reflexology this evening, first time ever, I fell asleep during it & I'm wrecked after it.

Mrsmadevans · 08/09/2021 21:38

AHH bless youHappier 💐🤗
You must have been so tired 😮

Gensola · 08/09/2021 21:54

I napped again today for a good two hours. Steps etc all terrible. Ah well!

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/09/2021 22:07

Gosh happier that must have been lovely. Early night my sweet
Gen don’t fret it you are an incubator at the minute. That burns enough calories
It should be banned mrs

Gensola · 08/09/2021 22:09

DH brought me two bars of Lidl chocolate and made me burger and sweet potato fries Grin off to bed for me zzzzz

northender · 09/09/2021 07:06

So am hanging on in there at a 10 pound loss overall, but no progress for ages. On holiday next week so I was hoping to get a few more pounds off to give me a head start. It's our first holiday (5 days) without the dc and we're staying in a hotel where we normally do self catering. We've got all meals out booked but are planning to hire bikes to get about and partly offset the excess. We also plan a sea swim every day.

Not2bObvious · 09/09/2021 07:31

Reflexology sounds lovely happier, you probably slept like a log after it.
You're doing the best you can in difficult circumstances mrs, maintenance is nothing to be sniffed at, it's a triumph.
5 days without dc north, that will be amazing - and sounds like you're going to active throughout. Just enjoy every minute.
Rest as much as you can gen, your body has been through a lot, chocolate & burger & fries, he's a keeper
Get that tracking started life, time to get off the crack (that sounds so wrong) I mean if you could stop at a square or two, absolutely but let's face it, you're a crack addict 😉
Down a whopping .2 - in the grander scheme week on week I'm down .8 from last Thursday. I guess there's progress albeit slow hiding between the flux. Must get a decent walk in today as part of my plan

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2021 06:49

Made better food choices yesterday. I am a crack addict and bits all gone now. Also did aerobics and booked to see a physiotherapist for my feet’s and PF and hips

Wolfcub · 10/09/2021 07:49

Pilates yesterday for pretty much the first time since pup arrived. Despite eating very simply all week I have put on weight. Ffs

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2021 09:18

Admitting you have a problem is finding the way to a solution, I think there's a bit of a crack addict in all of us...Damn you Aldi😂Anyone not familiar with this banter, it's about how Aldi choceur chocolate is like crack. Should have put a trigger warning!
I've had that weight gain too wolf since I came back from holidays, seriously testing me but just keep going, no other choice. Great that you got the Pilates done.
Had a drop of 2lb today after horrible high weigh ins so no doubt I'll be up again tomorrow but for today I'm 166.6, that's 5lb down since I reset my Happy Scales on the 22nd August, 1.2 down on last Friday. Chuffed! Day 3 of week 1 C25K and also body pump done too. Lots to do today, family over for coffee & cake soon so best get some work done. Happy Friday all!

northender · 10/09/2021 10:13

Hope you're ok and taking it easy gen
I've been hovering up and down in a 3 pound window for at least 3 weeks now but happily down to a13pound total loss today. Going to work hard until Monday then relax! Did a Powerwave HIIT class at 7 this morning and then did a bit more cardio afterwards so pleased with that. Now working hard to avoid study!

Gensola · 10/09/2021 10:23

north thanks, I am ok just very very tired which is a normal side effect of the rhino-level hormones they have me on. Test day is one week today, so not too much longer to wait. I am feeling so nervous it hasn't worked, I think having had two embryos transferred before and both failed, it has left me wary of getting my hopes up.

Mrsmadevans · 10/09/2021 18:01

Oh that is excellent North well done! Smile
Gen Lidl's wholenut choc is delicious Grin
Have a good rest lovely Flowers

life it should be banished Grin
Wolf it's so disappointing Flowers
Been ok because very busy Hmm Day off from MumBobs tomorrow so it will be a takeaway and a scoff l expect Hmm

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2021 22:13

I didn't have any cake🥲 A little bit of knowledge is dangerous and I knew a small slice was nearly 350 cals, and I wanted treats tonight so I just had coffee.
Company over tonight as well and I managed to not drink and stick to just under 1800. Who even am I😂
What's the bets I'm back over 168 tomorrow despite all the good behaviour today?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 11/09/2021 07:13

Overnight flux of .6, so 167.2 - happy with that. Keeping just under the 12 stone for 2 days is a record at the moment. No plans for today apart from the usual food shopping, must do a menu plan for next week

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 11/09/2021 07:42

Planning for next week here too. I need to start using up the freezer and cupboardsfor packing no 4
