I put the bananas in the bin 🗑

Not2bObvious · 19/11/2021 14:07

Oh well, better in the bin than made into a cake to end up on the hips happier
That sounds like a dramatic opticians visit,
mrs - is it worth or even an option to get a second opinion? Had you issues you'd noticed or was it a routine visit?
I've become a dreadful doubter after receiving bad medical advice over the years, made me very untrusting. But if you trust them do whatever you feel is best.
Did my body pump this morning. Wanted to go for a jog but had too many visitors between EP and other family popping in. Didn't get a chance to eat, ate at 1.30 in the end. Knackered....

Happierwithouthim · 19/11/2021 14:36

Ya that was my thinking too plus the last banana things I made are still in the freezer

Wolfcub · 20/11/2021 08:06

The scales are not being kind to me this morning. Pilates shortly. I made a nice banana and chocolate loaf last week. First one I've braved for a year as we got so sick of banana loaf

Not2bObvious · 20/11/2021 09:06

So much bloody banana bread last year, I can see why it's been a while wolf.
After 3 days the same, my scales showed a drop of 1.4 so back to a new low pound number, not my lowest this go round but maybe I'll see more of it. My average weigh loss has gone from .48/.49 a week to .52 apparently. Watch this space, I'm slimming marginally faster than before😂

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 20/11/2021 16:38

196.6 fairly consistently over past few days
Gym out of the question for most of next week now that my ds has tested positive
So back to walking the dog

Not2bObvious · 20/11/2021 18:57

Oh crap, how is he happier? Is your daughter ok now?

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 20/11/2021 22:24

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/11/2021 07:48

Happierwithouthim · 21/11/2021 11:29

195.8 this morning

mrsmadevans sorry to hear you're going through this, you give so much to everyone else, let them look out for you now

Not2bObvious · 21/11/2021 15:08

I hope you're ok mrs, please take it easy, high bp is no joke.
I'm wrecked today, being very lazy after a bit of shopping. I should go for a walk but I can't summon the energy. Takeaway planned for dinner

Gensola · 22/11/2021 07:15

mrs so sorry to hear you’re not well, you are such a ray of light to us all, I feel you’re a real friend even though we have never met. I hope we do meet one day Smile take care of yourself xxx
I am feeling more like myself and worried this means it’s another chemical pregnancy- my last transfer I got positive tests for a few days then they faded away before my official test day. This time I haven’t tested early but I was feeling really shit for days and now feel pretty much normal 😭 second guessing everything. Testing on Friday this week so just need to keep busy and try to forget it.
I know I’ve put on weight too, I can’t exercise and I’m eating more as the hormones make me starving.

Not2bObvious · 22/11/2021 07:17

My takeaway has sure taken away any recent losses! Up 3lb on Saturday, complete bloat I know - should be gone by Wednesday if I keep the fluids up & the food down. Very cold & frosty here, glad to wfh today

Happierwithouthim · 22/11/2021 11:12

Sts this morning too

Not2bObvious · 22/11/2021 13:21

Sts is a good post weekend weigh in - are you still on the medication for the insulin resistance happier? Have I even got that right 🤔?
I could do with a decent walk but I'm stuck in waiting for deliveries, also I'm quite exercise resistant at the moment - finding the get up & go seriously lacking. Had a December show cancelled this morning, have a post Xmas trip planned & starting to think I should cancel it. I haven't started comfort eating....yet

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/11/2021 20:12

I did some exercise this morning. 14400 steps. Ruined it by eating choc and a gu pudd

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/11/2021 20:13

Ah gen I really hope it’s more positive news this time but I totally understand why you would think that. For now forget the weigh loss and focus on self care

Mrsmadevans · 22/11/2021 20:21

Gen l have everything crossed for you my dear friend ❤️

Mrsmadevans · 22/11/2021 20:22

Just a little update on today's meeting with the Gp. BP today was 180/110. At one time on Sunday morning it was 203/110 .l was so frightened l was going to have a stroke 😭 l was afraid to move. He put me on 10mgs of Ampodipine to start with, l have to take my BP for another week get my bloods done and ring him next Monday if my BP is stable and lower. If not l have to have another med as well. I had a good going over by him he was very kind . He could see how scared l was. I must just thank you all for being so kind . I will hopefully be Ito normal very soon
Take care everyone 😘

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/11/2021 20:24

That’s high but sounds like you are being very well looked after. Hope the meds do their things

Not2bObvious · 22/11/2021 20:53

That must have been very frightening mrs, hopefully the medication will do it's magic. I've had a few high readings but nothing like that and at the time thought the top of my head would blow off!
Good for you on the steps life. I did a walk but no idea of steps and determined not to check phone pedometer. I'll see you a gu pudding & choc and raise you 1 chocolate bar, 1 bag of corn crisps, another half bar of chocolate, 2 mini packs of skittles and a handful of M&M's. Munchy Monday

Happierwithouthim · 22/11/2021 21:41

Not yes I am & have review scheduled with gp for wed morn.
Delighted with a sts on mon, joys of isolating for you & alcohol and this medication don't agree either

I did my HIIT class but didn't walk the dog, not that guilty because with me at home she's out so much more everyday anyhow.

I can't find my Fitbit charger anywhere and I'd like to start wearing it again. It would help with a decent judge of where I at with the meds etc

Mrsmadevans I'm glad to hear your bp has improved, mine was considered high at 132/83 a couple of months ago.

I've eaten three meals today & chocolate & a fulfil bar I think that's the most I've eaten in two weeks

Not2bObvious · 23/11/2021 07:15

Down .6 of the 3lb bloat. Hasn't affected my happy scale average too much, might be lucky enough that the remaining 2'ish bloat buggers off by tomorrow. Not been great with water or anything nutritious if I'm honest. Something about the cold doesn't lend itself to water/fruit/veg. Chocolate/crisps/cake now that I can do!
That Fitbit charger of yours really does like to hide happier - hope it turns up, there's always Amazon of course.
