Have been without internet last 2 days Hmm otherwise not too bad fingers crossed Smile

Not2bObvious · 24/10/2021 11:17

165'ish seen fleetingly as always, spiked back up to 167'ish after a salty/sugary Saturday. Loss of .6 in Happy Scales, down 1.8 on last Sunday.
Feeling lazy, I have a workout to do but no real rush as nothing planned for the day. Tea & tv for a bit I reckon

Unescorted · 24/10/2021 18:22

I have just been told the scales are not accurate....... but my clothes are not as tight.

Happierwithouthim · 24/10/2021 18:50

We had a fantastic night celebrating our friends 40th with 8 for the meal, 4 of us drinking for the night & then 3 of us staying the night

Consumed my weight in alcohol Shock

Not2bObvious · 24/10/2021 20:38

Clothes not as tight is a great nsv, take the wins wherever you can is my advice.
You deserved and needed a great night out happier, life is crud most days, hope the head isn't too bad

Been ok today , busy so therefore fine food wise Hmm

Gensola · 24/10/2021 22:35

I’ve decided to try fasting again to try and counteract the lack of exercise caused by work. I have downloaded a free app and will try to fast 8pm-1245 (lunch time at work) but if I am absolutely starving after my first two classes at 11 I’ll have a banana or an oat milk flat white coffee. Hoping to stick to this for two weeks and see if it gets the ball rolling!
Still no AF 😭 so ridiculous, just want to get going on this cycle and of course it’s 6 days late. I’m boiling hot though so I think it is imminent!
happier have drunk too much myself this weekend too!
unescorted clothes not as tight is a better measure than the scale imo!

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/10/2021 07:07

Typical gen
Sounds like a great night happier
Good work not

Still nowt here

Not2bObvious · 25/10/2021 08:43

Another 2lb up so that's 4lb bloat in 2 days. It'll go soon I hope, although it being the bank holiday doesn't mean I'll be on normal Monday good behaviour. Having a takeaway for dinner but it will be a healthy'ish Asian style, small portions. Anywho, life's for living. Last BH of the year and no holidays planned between now & end of May 2022.
Good luck with the fasting app gen, that fasting window sounds very doable, and of course you could have a coffee or banana if you're too hungry. Two weeks can bring nice results for sure.
I need to follow your example mrs and keep busy, yesterday I did my workout and got a lovely walk to the shops where I picked up some new essentials. Felt good to parent myself, I wouldn't let the kids wear shabby knickers, why is it ok for me😂 But after that I was a lazy lump, had a good dinner but too much wine & snacks after. Oh well from tomorrow I will be a diet diva! If the weather stays fine, we're off for a family walk by the sea, coffee/shopping for bits and then food later. Have a great day all😊

Gen when l stick to IF it's fabulous, give it a go lovely ☺️🤞
Bloody AF isn't that absolutely typical!

Mrsmadevans · 25/10/2021 16:30

Life those wasters taking the curtains 💐 l would have been eating my fury 😱

Mrsmadevans · 25/10/2021 16:37

Not it's a constant battle it really is 🤪 well done on the essential clothes buying 👏👏👏
As for the 4lbs Bloat 😱 it's just so off putting for you 🙄
Busy again today , sorting out A delivery of oil for Bobbo and Mum. Arranging for the TV man to come to do their aerial so they can see the telly in the bedroom. Drs appt for Bob as well , went shopping to Tesco , can't believe how much has sold already for Christmas 🎄😱
Busy it shall be , l haven't scoffed today just 2 pears when we came home 🏡👏must build on this now 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/10/2021 16:53

I’ve still got no appetite luckily otherwise would be eating my feeling

Not2bObvious · 25/10/2021 19:29

Sorry you've still no appetite with the bug life. It's a strange misery losing the urge to eat, I only ever lost my appetite once and I was gobsmacked how horrible it felt. Really hope you feel better and whatever is stressing you calms down soon.
Slight rearranging of food today, so ending the day on 1550 and alcohol free. Over 10,000 steps according to my phone, not too shabby for a BH Monday.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 26/10/2021 08:09

Tuesday that feels like Monday here. 2.2 of the bloat gone, dressed for my c25k, week 6 day 1. Not as tough as my last session of 20 mins non-stop, it's 18 mins running split into 3 parts. Now just have to get up and get it done. Then work for the morning, quick family visit and home for more work. The kids are off so that adds to the fun. Sadly the weather is meant to be bad this week so it'll curtail us a bit. Not a lot to do and them hanging around making a mess & refusing to help. Feeling irritated already.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 26/10/2021 20:08

Not that was excellent for a BH lovely! Star
I get the irritation with the house full , l know we love them to bits but ...... it's a lot of work .
Great going with the c25k!
Been very busy doing a lot of Mum and Bobs admin and ordering central oil for them. The same amount in Feb was 250 pounds less Shock still they have to have it.
So been ok today not too bad at all Smile tired now though and it's cold but it isn't really it's just because l am tired l know
Hope everyone is ok, take care Smile

Mrsmadevans · 26/10/2021 20:09

Great amount of bloat gone too Not ! Star

Not2bObvious · 27/10/2021 09:23

Thanks mrs, back to last Fridays number so not too bad. Average creeping very slowly down. Body pump and 50 min brisk walk/shower done. Protein shake guzzled. I'll try stick to fluids until lunchtime if I can.
8 weeks today, schools break up for Christmas, usually my sign to eat all the food! Anyone feeling a bit invigorated to see this as an 8 week lead in? Bit of group accountability?

OP posts:
Gensola · 27/10/2021 17:52

not I like that idea! I have been getting on well with the 16:8 - haven’t been starving so have been fasting 8pm to 1pm the following day. Surely it’s got to make a difference?! 😂
AF finally came so I’ve started injecting the IVF meds which will cause bloat.
mrs you sound busy as always, hope you’re getting some time for you!

Gensola · 27/10/2021 17:53

if I lost 1lb a week, I’d be below goal weight by Xmas!! Let’s do this.
I can’t drink now until after the cycle so that will help too.

Not2bObvious · 27/10/2021 18:21

That's great that you've been able to start your new cycle gen. No booze will definitely go towards the pound a week.
If I lost a pound a week I'd be thrilled but even if I lost 3 pounds between now & then it would be brilliant. Slow loser coupled with weekend gobshite doesn't lend itself to decent losses.
Recording weight or average weight, (whichever is better!) on a Wednesday would be an idea - enough time for weekend bloat to go. Completely optional of course
SW - 166.2 week 1
GW - 163.2

OP posts:
Unescorted · 27/10/2021 20:16

Gen that is great news that you are getting another cycle in before crimbo.

I am up for a 8 week to Christmas support group. I need the accountability. DS has started getting up to keep me company for the morning HIIT. I have not been so good on the IF... I am still a human leftovers hoover.

78.6KG - only 8.6KG to new jeans.

Unescorted · 27/10/2021 20:17

87.6kg ... weight loss due to dyslexia Grin . But 7.6kg to new jeans

Not2bObvious · 27/10/2021 20:51

Who knew dyslexia caused weight gain, I must be a severe case😂 Yah for another 8'weeker. We'll be belles of the ball, if there were any balls to go to

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 28/10/2021 07:49

Down a smidge, whether that's linked to scale repositioning is neither here nor there. Miserable drizzle here which has buggered my plan for c25k, hopefully it'll lessen so I can get out later. There's always the dreadmill but the thoughts of 2 x 10 runs on it aren't filling me with excitement. Not that the outdoor version is thrilling me too much either!
