@wtfisgoingonhere21

Pls May I join?

Start weight was 11st 7lb

Current weight 11st 4 lb

Target 9st 7 lb

5 ft 1.5 in

Currently at my heaviest(apart from two weeks ago)
I didn't weigh this much when I was due to give birth to any of my dc Blush

Got down to 10 stone 8 lb last July but gained another stone between then and now thanks to lockdown and having no self control Hmm

Anyway I've been tracking my calories upping my water in take and walking around 3 ish miles a few times a week and am upping my distance and speed each walk

Welcome👍 You have already lost 3 pounds. So now under two stone to go Why don't you say you got 11lbs to go and just concentrate on that and then review when you 10.7 and reset goal to 9.7 but just think about that 11 pounds for now. You are doing well. Better than me. I'm going to weigh myself in a minute😂

@Sweetener12

I don't think much of numbers on scales tbh, there happens to be water that comes and goes in the blink of an eye. I mostly work around the hips/waist measurements and general reflection in the mirror and focus on making myself look more like the thinner me in the picture that I edited in Photodiva for motivation. I also have some clothes that help me to understand if I'm losing or gaining weight Grin.
I agree with you In lot of ways about this as I can't stop weighing myself which is abit obsessed as i do it everyday! I do know when my clothes are tighter as really uncomfortable and I have got alot of stretch trousers/jeans but some of them have no give. I had to buy two new pairs the other day as my bum felt like it was going to burst out back of other ones. Not a pretty site🤣🤣 I just find it so difficult not to jump on scales everyday and my logical brain says if measuring shows I'm smaller and looser clothes I am losing/getting fitter/toning. I don't think I have ever looked toned even when I weighed 8.10 along time ago... that was only for a very short time.

Welcome I would love to be your weight/height as I'm a lot more weight and shorter but I am glad you are on board as we are all different weights and heights and it is how someone feels about their own journey. I have been 8.10 up to 15.6 through my life so always struggling! 8lbs isn't a lot to lose but it is a lot harder as you are so near it goal. How are you planning to get it off?

@Laufeythejust

I’m 5 foot 7 and my goal is 10 stone 7. I started last year at 13 stone 7 and I’m now 10 stone 10 so not far to go but finding those last few pounds really difficult! I found lockdown easy but now it’s longer hours in the office and the return of office snacks- old habits are hard to break!
You have done so well. You should be really proud. I get you totally re work snacks as we have vending machines with lots of unhealthy food/drinks and cafes etc same. I don't walk pass then now if I can help it and try not to take money to work. Maybe make up a bowl of fruit night before or take some cereal in? I like fruit and fibre with a cup of tea as feeling and alot of chewing 😂

I had five sweets from pick and mix just to get taste and that satisfied me. The staff member had trouble weighing them as such a small amount 😂

😂😂😂😂
Meanies! Go on silver screen days. They give you everything then - they're just grateful you don't wee in the seats!![/quote]
Thanks for the tip👍😂

When I had an office job I used to take a tub of veg sticks in most days. Prepared the night before. One of these is brilliant, you can get loads of veg in, they don't leak in your bag. I used to take a 2nd tub with a big salad for lunch. I used to put the dressing in one of these which I fitted into the top amongst the salad leaves. It keeps the leaves fresher if they aren't swimming in it all morning, & it doesn't all sink to the bottom.

5ft 3”

Feb 2020 was 12 stone
Today 8 stone 10

Would ideally like to get to 8 stone 5 and tone my stomach up a bit more.

Feel so much better for weight loss although I know it’s not easy!

Brilliant weightloss. Well done. Only 5lbs to go. Yes it's such a good feeling when you get there and can fit into all the clothes etc. I found I am so much more confident when I can wear things I actually like rather than things to hide myself. Well done. Keep posting as you will motivate Everyone.

5'4", and had almost hit 11 st at the end of April (heaviest I have ever been except when pregnant). I am now 9 st 8 but want to be around 8 st 12 or less. Weight loss continues but it is laboriously slow now, not least because I have had various slips with my eating. Back on it with a vengeance this week though. I'm 33 and feel horrific about myself when I am overweight, even if it's only slightly.

Another brilliant weightloss so far. Think you have 10lbs to go less than a stone. So even if you only lost a pound a month this time next year you will be 8.12. I reckon you will do it a lot earlier than that though. Just keep going now as I said to one of other posters I have sabotaged myself when got near target in past. So near yet so far. Keep going. You can do it. I am 13 stone so long way to go but people like you really motivate me. No pressure 😂😂👍

Ps it's good because there is a real mix of people posting on here about their weightloss journeys. Some people have a lot of weight to lose and some people very near goal. Some of the people very near goal are inspiring to others on here as they understand how difficult it is no matter where you are in your own journey.
And as we all know weightloss does really slow down when target in sight! This is when we've got to grit our teeth and dig in and not give up. Don't let all the hard work go to waste.
Well done everyone.

5'9" and I'm 14 stone, size 16 bottoms, 14 tops.
I do an online bootcamp which I'm sticking to religiously food wise (which is bloody delicious stuff!) and I do ring fit on the Nintendo switch fit exercise.
Want to get back down to 12 stone.

How long you been dieting or have you just started?

@quietsea There was research done on daily weighing. It used to be thoughtful of as bad form because we have such fluctuations in our weight. (I mean I just don't know what my body's up to some days!) But actually they found it to be the opposite. Daily weighing actually kept lots of people motivated to carry on. So if it works for you, do it.

I agree that it's great to have people of all different sizes but all sharing the same struggle and facing the same problems, while needing the same support. Great to hear from people who are at goal weight and maintaining. Well done to you. That's hardest part.

@Blueuggboots Where is this bloody delicious food of which you speak?!

Nightlystroll · 14/07/2021 14:32

@quietsea Oops, I forgot. Congratulations on the loss. 2lbs in 3 days is fantastic. 🥳

Blueuggboots · 14/07/2021 14:34

@Nightlystroll, I do the fat girl getting fit bootcamp. It's absolutely delicious food, live workouts (that you can replay) and an incredibly supportive group of people. I love it!!
Rosie, the lady that runs it is really realistic about life and isn't a stick either!
I'm not in anyway affiliated to it, and I often recommend it. I lost a stone in the first 6 weeks of doing it in lockdown but I fell off the wagon and now I'm losing it again!!!!

Menora · 14/07/2021 14:41

I always thought I was 170cm but I am 167 🙄
This changed my BMI!

I am 167cm and 14st 10
I started at 15st
I’ve been going a month and it’s very slow but I am losing from my waist
Ideally I would be 11st but I have tried that before and it was quite hard
I count everything I eat

Yes I will have to continue to weigh daily as a week not weighing myself can be lethal for me!
Love the comment re delicious food😂
I did lighter life (similar sort of thing) a couple of years ago. Never again. First time I did managed to eat food and thought it was ok considering but tried again year later and hated food. I think I was desperate the first time.
No offence to any lighter life people as everyone has to do what is best for them.
