Anyone want to join me? It's 1st February tomorrow which seems a good day to start.

Three stone to lose here, I can't put it off any longer. I hate being overweight.

Nothing fits me and I am so miserable.

@Teaplease29 I have a 5 month old and a 3 year old, caffeine is what keeps me going Grin does coffee count towards your daily water intake?!

Teaplease29 · 17/02/2021 14:44

@LBB2020 Grin hope so! Awww lovely ages! Hope it is going well for you! I find after babyngpes to bed I raid the cupboards

LBB2020 · 17/02/2021 15:22

@Teaplease29 thank you, it’s been hard but lovely at the same time Smile I do the same, once they are both asleep I’m straight in the kitchen raiding the cupboards Blush

DisappearingHelen · 17/02/2021 21:50

Hey all. Well done to the further loses and to all of you hanging in there!!

I’ve been back on plan since my bad Monday. Still feeling slightly less sure about being able to stick to it but trying to focus on getting through each day. Honestly, it’s annoying being so wobbly about something so basic as food management! We all have weaknesses and I suppose it’s better to be a butter addict than a heroin addict...

SoisPoli · 17/02/2021 21:58

You lot are inspiring!

I'm late to the thread but want to eat better to feel better.

Aiming to cut sugar and junk mainly, would like to lose 7lb or so in time for summer.

I'm on long term steroids and weight has crept up. I don't want to have to buy new summer clothes.

StrawberryFizz26 · 18/02/2021 07:51

teaplease29 you sound exactly like me but I eat like that day after day after day!! As I'm giving up booze for lent, I drank on Tuesday and urgh, I was rough AF yesterday. Had a healthy breakfast and lunch but then got curry for tea and ate chocolate

BUT, I'm not going to eat the leftovers today and have also decided to give up takeaways for lent so I'm confident I'll get on track these next few weeks!!

Keep going everyone

MischiefManager · 18/02/2021 08:58

Well I had a naughty chippie tea last night and woke up almost 2lb up!! Not having a great week this week after such shops start. Think it's half term and being off work and out of routine. Usually I'd throw the towel in at this point and go back to old habits so need a good few days to get me back on track!

LBB2020 · 18/02/2021 09:42

Keep going everyone!
I’m still keeping on track so far this week although I have only got out once for a walk as the weather hasn’t been good and the baby is miserable at the moment (hoping it’s just a short lived phase and not his personality coming out! Grin). More rain forecast today so if we can’t get out for a walk I’ll try to fit in a workout video

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 18/02/2021 11:14

We had the M&S Chinese takeaway box last night - I'm a lb up today. It will be sodium/fluid mischiefmanager.

StrawberryFizz26 · 18/02/2021 12:10

Oh FFS - Honestly I am my own worst enemy.
I've just eaten leftover curry, which was delicious and now we're having fish and chips for tea, it is our 4 year anniversary so hey ho!!

I am absolutely back on it tomorrow.

StrawberryFizz26 · 18/02/2021 12:11

Altough, this morning I was down from 12s4lb to 12.2 - I'll take that!
Lots of walking and healthy food planned for the weekend.
It's defo the booze that gets me.

Is the OP still on serran

RunningKatie · 18/02/2021 17:49

Oh dear, I too have no been doing so well this week. I've just relaxed a bit too much and started sam

RunningKatie · 18/02/2021 17:51

Argh - why can we not edit posts!
Anyway, sampling the yummy treats I am giving the dc over half term.
I also has some lovely lemon gin last night. I don't regret that!

Teaplease29 · 18/02/2021 21:10

@RunningKatie the gin sounds lovely! Which one was it if you don't mind me asking.

@StrawberryFizz26 I am a total carb monster but I really was out of control those days Confused

So I've stuck to my eating window today 12 - 8 and not eaten terribly.. but I am having a drink now (just the one) after the baby took aaaages to go down to sleep Sad

Teaplease29 · 18/02/2021 21:24

Scrap that.. OH just brought me up a big slice of cake Grin opps

LBB2020 · 19/02/2021 07:53

Morning all, just weighed in and I’m -2lb and 10st4lb this morning, really happy with that Smile
Hope you enjoyed your anniversary @StrawberryFizz26

MischiefManager · 19/02/2021 09:15

Well done @LBB2020 and @StrawberryFizz26

I have lost one of the two pounds from the chippie tea so hopefully I'll shift the other one today. I'd like to finish the week with a small loss and then hopefully do better next week when we're back in homeschooling and work routine.

StrawberryFizz26 · 19/02/2021 09:49

LBB2020 thank you, it was lovely and worth it!

Well done mischiefmanager I'm going to smash it this weekend, no booze, all the steps and lots of lovely healthy food. I know I'll feel better for it cos I feel exhausted this morning!!

Have a lovely weekend all

LBB2020 · 19/02/2021 09:50

Well done @MischiefManager!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 19/02/2021 11:44

Well done @LBB2020 and @MischiefManager !

I'm still 10/8 today and annoyed, but because I have my period am (sorry TMI) a bit constipated. I need to really get on track and get my act together though. The weather here's been crap so I haven't been quite making 10,000 steps every day - really close though, I could manage by running round the kitchen a few times! - but I have done an exercise DVD a couple of times, and I'm being pretty good about not snacking. I'm much more sedentary working from home, I'm used to being up and down stairs multiple times a day, walking to and from work, so none of that is good.

This is all just excuses, I know!

LBB2020 · 19/02/2021 12:25

Good luck for the weekend @StrawberryFizz26 you can do it!
You’re probably retaining a bit of water being on your period too @Judystilldreamsofhorses, well done for doing the dvds!
I’ve just got in from a long-ish walk with the DC, it’s so windy out but no rain here today

DisappearingHelen · 19/02/2021 12:58

You guys are doing so great and make it sound practically easy (even with the odd slice of cake)!

I did a little comfort eating last night but not loads so it’s pretty much still on plan. I don’t want to keep doing that though. I should have taken myself out for a walk or done something else instead. Next time!

MischiefManager · 20/02/2021 08:52

Well this morning I've lost the other pound again plus an extra 0.2lb so I'm pleased with that although seriously regretting those chips the other day. Learnt from that one!!

LBB2020 · 20/02/2021 10:01

Good work keeping on plan @DisappearingHelen Smile
Life’s too short to regret eating chips @MischiefManager Grin
I ate a little too much chocolate last night Blush but off for a long walk this morning so hopefully not too much damage done!
Have a good weekend everyone x

ButterfliesnWaterfalls · 20/02/2021 12:27

I'm down to 11.4 stone this morning Grin

Need to keep at it so I can get to my goal weight. I'm hoping to lose the 4lbs by the end of this month hopefully Wink
