Anyone up for sorting their lard body out? I've peaked with my fatness and I need to sort it. I can no longer hide. Tomorrow will be the day. Are you up for it too?

We've got chicken drumsticks, salad and hash browns for dinner. I've got 100 or so calories left in my allowance after that but will try to keep below today. No snacks at all but I am absolutely starving. Still done next to no steps today as been working all day. I will try to do day 1 of 30 day shred this evening and get out for a long walk tomorrow!

How's everyone else going today?

Well I thought I'd be getting a medal for dedication to health & moderation today. I downloaded MFP, thanks for recommendation, and was positively glowing with self pride. MFP has, however, pooped the party and even at 6:30 I have gone 120 calls over. Apparently oat milk is full of carbs, who knew?! What it does show well though is that I must have been eating more than twice or more the cals I need, that I genuinely find shocking.

I've marched ddog around the woods this evening so I've done 8000 steps so far today. Was horrified when I got my Fitbit to find that unless I made the effort, on a workday my total steps would be less than 1500.
Am not going to eat chocolate tonight. That will be a huge achievement

I've completed my MFP today with 1260 calories. I had rice and veg for lunch, and a falafel salad with hummus and some crackers for tea. Going to make a pot of peppermint tea to drink before bed...joyous Grin

Can I join you all please? DH and I have tipped over into the ‘obese’ section of BMI after years of overindulgence Sad

I need to lose MINIMUM 20kg to be at the top end of a healthy weight, and ideally quite a bit more as I’ve got small and fragile bones. It seems so huge and I’m actually really embarrassed that I’ve allowed myself to let this happen!

Irrespective of how much we all need to lose, we'll take it one day at a time and one week at a time. Let's make that our goal.

I find it overwhelming if I think how long it'll take to shift even a stone, so I'm focusing on small wins first.

Well the first day is nearly done, apart from a few moments and wobbles I have made it on my calorie target (1200) no choc, sugar in my drinks or crisps. One day at a time.

I'm on another very similar thread, but I've been reading all the tips and advice so feel I should officially join in here too. I'd like to think that being on two threads will give me twice the motivation but that's doubtful. I also got my biggest ever, on a fateful Thursday this March, of 12st 8.5lbs. I have since then slowly and surely lost 8lbs, but I've noticed over the last couple of days that my snacking (chocolate) is definitely increasing so need to pull it back again. I'm having up to 1500 calories and walking 10,000 steps +. Will try and introduce exercise 3 x per week soon but I've genuinely never enjoyed a single minute I've spent doing so, and therefore massively putting it off. I need to keep going, because I currently don't fit into anything that I could vaguely describe as work clothes. Good luck!

We can do this! I'm 5ft 2in and I'm 60.9kg. Now I know you all might be thinking "this bitch needs to get out now!" But after having 2 kids in 2 years I am carrying a lot of fat and I'm not toned at all.
I have love handles and everything jiggles. I just look bigger now whereas at this weight pre kids I was ok.

I'm doing keto have I've lost 1.5kg but I think ideally I need to her down to about 56kg.

Hopefully we can all spur each other on and I look forward to reading everyone's updates!

Well done everyone. Can I join please? Three and half stone over where I should be. Absolutely peak fatness for me. Will start tomorrow. 16/8, 1200 cals, and carbs under 100g. Exercise will be yoga and jogging. Really got to get myself sorted - the corona stats for obesity are freaking me out.

I have managed a whole day without stuffing my face. It actually feels quite a relief knowing that I have at least made a start.

Can I join please- I’m the biggest I’ve ever been including when I was 9 months pregnant! Being so small makes life hard- if I was 7 inches taller I’d look like a model, but instead I have so much fat that I kind of have a second bum due to so much lower back fat! I just find it so hard not to eat rubbish!!

I’m going to really push tomorrow and try to eat healthy all day!! I would love to loose 7lb by the end of the month...is that possible?

Day 1 of not eating crap. Cals burnt 2113, cals in 1293. Not easy.
I had my dinner then a cup of tea. No biscuits, crisps or nuts!
I'm going to try fasting from 7pm-9am (breakfast). Tummy bit hungry but it can burn fat!!
Hope everyone else's first day went well.
Now to keep going!

Can I join? I’m 10st 12lbs I think... I’ve put on about half a stone.

But the worst thing is I am working from home, I am eating badly and I feel out of control, I’ve given up any attempt at healthy. I already exercise so I think this stopped me gaining lots more - I want to lose 7lbs. I will do a fresh weigh in the morning.

Ok I’m joining in too. I have a horrible wobbly belly I’ve never had before. I can’t face counting and cooking different stuff for me which is what I’ve done when I’ve used weight watchers before. So I’m going to try intermittent fasting 8:16. I think my eating window will be 11-7 so I’ll miss breakfast and cycle to work while fasting. Then have lunch and family dinner. My usual downfall is chocolate and crisps on the sofa once the kids are in bed but I won’t be able to do that if my eating window is closed.

Weighing myself now..... very scared.....

Ok 12st 9 at 5,8 - awful but I’ve been worse!!! Focussing on getting under 12st first. Let’s do this!!!

Feeling positive today. I know my downfall is biscuits and chocolate so I just need to stop reaching for them, especially in the evenings

Will have fruit, and make sure I walk enough.

I know I can do it.. just need to keep motivated especially in the first week

I'm nearly 15st it's ridiculous, I need 5 stone off ,
Can people post about the things they are eating . I don't want to count calories too much faff , I might go very low carb . Does that mean no bread , pasta , potatoes or just very small amounts ?
What can I have for breakfast , I normally have 2 slices of toast
Dinner tonight is peri peri chicken , 1 leg 1 roast potato but trying to make the majority of the plate veg ? Would this be safe .
Also trying to kick the booze , I'm drinking way way way too much , I think it's mainly that yknow

I’ve never done low carb - I think eggs are a good low carb breakfast though - maybe a nice omelette?

I’ve also decided to stop drinking completely for the next few months - partly because I want to get pregnant and I’ve heard not drinking is good for the quality of my ancient eggs! I’m sure you’ll get some good low carb advice on here :)
