Congratulations on the job @cricketmum84!
@Tryingtwo you were a similar start weight to me and are my inspiration having already lost 3st +! Star

Ihatesundays · 08/02/2020 13:28

Still not in the 69kgs yet. Weight back down to 70.3kg....did go on the exercise bike last night.
I am still shrinking. Wearing a skirt I’ve owned for more than 10 years. It’s never been so baggy (couldn’t even wear it last year) even when I was 65kg, I know I’ve put on muscle which is why scales don’t move. Still be nice if they did.
13 weeks until I go on holiday.

KedsAndTubeSocks · 08/02/2020 13:31

I've just realised I'm spending half term staying with a feeder. Cake Cake Cake Blush
I think I'll just have to write that week off. Don't think I'll have much loss in February.
@NerrSnerr I'm doing similar to you, but I've added in 16:8 which I find quite easy. Well done @Onesmallstep67 DD!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Tryingtwo · 08/02/2020 15:12

Hello all, some lovely losses and NSVs and wonderful perseverance from those who have hit a plateau.
Thank you y0rkier0se 10lbs is a great start.
Another surprisingly good loss today, down to 13st 1.2lbs. I was inspired to try on some old clothes with very mixed results. I am a very odd shape at the moment - all boobs and belly. I look okayish face on but side view is a bit a lot ummm

Egghead68 · 08/02/2020 17:31

Amazing loss this month @cricketmum84!

KedsAndTubeSocks · 09/02/2020 06:48

@Tryingtwo I'm the opposite to you; side on from the shoulders down I reckon I'm ok. Face on not so much Sad

Egghead68 · 09/02/2020 06:50

63.4kg. The loss continues! Now down 1.1kg from Feb 1.

I’m supposed to be flying out on holiday today but the winds/storm are horrendous.

Egghead68 · 09/02/2020 06:51

Nice loss @Tryingtwo!

KedsAndTubeSocks · 09/02/2020 07:00

Well done @Egghead68 - glad things are moving for you!

cricketmum84 · 09/02/2020 07:04

Where are you supposed to be flying from @Egghead68? There's an awful lot of cancellations today apparently.

OP posts:
Egghead68 · 09/02/2020 07:08

Heathrow to Sri Lanka. It’s not looking good...

JontyDoggle37 · 09/02/2020 07:36

Morning all. @egghead68 not sure I’d fancy being in a plane in this weather!
Still on the yo-yo, down again this morning to 12st 3.7. Hopefully now I’m off the steroids this is the start of a proper downward trend!

Egghead68 · 09/02/2020 07:40

I agree - don’t want to fly unless it calms down. Hope you’re feeling much better now @jontydoggle37.

MotherOfDragonite · 09/02/2020 07:59

It's very windy out there! Fingers crossed that it will calm down for you to fly off, @Egghead68

I am frustrated because my weight has basically stayed the same since my weigh-in on Wednesday, despite my sticking to my points and getting 6k to 10k steps in every day.

I guess it goes to show that what I thought was 'normal' eating really wasn't, if being careful like this is what keeps me at the same weight!

I am still trying to get better at drinking water. Also I think maybe I am still consuming too many carbs and that is what is slowing down my weight loss.

MotherOfDragonite · 09/02/2020 08:01

So, I think I might need to join you in reducing carbs, @cricketmum84

cricketmum84 · 09/02/2020 08:37

Worth a try @MotherOfDragonite!

No I wouldn't want to fly in this either @Egghead68. Really hope it settles soon and you get off on your holiday!

I've not weighed this morning. Never ever weigh after a treat tea lol!

Am keeping on the fruit today with just one main meal. DH is doing a joint of pork for him and the kids but I haven't fully decided what to make? Might have to have a flick through the recipe books again. I've got loads of cauliflower, BNS, cabbage, sweet potatoes, leeks, as well as plant mince and veggie sausages.

Keep safe everyone in this horrendous weather!

NerrSnerr · 09/02/2020 08:53

Morning all. Somehow managed another loss after eating too many biscuits yesterday so that's 2lbs this week which is on track. I now weigh 11st 3 so looking forward to getting into the 10s in the next couple of weeks.

Keep safe in the storm everyone. I have a spinning class this morning and taking the children swimming this afternoon.

y0rkier0se · 09/02/2020 09:12

Morning all,
Weighed in at 15st 10 this morning which is a 2lb loss from yesterday, praying it sticks and isn’t just fluctuation! That means if I can lose 2lb between now and Saturday I’ve hit my first goal of a stone by Feb half term!
@JontyDoggle37 I’ve just started a course of steroids as my asthma is awful at the moment, horrible things. Glad to hear you’re off them now Smile

Tryingtwo · 09/02/2020 09:17

Good morning all, nice loss Egghead68 glad you've broken your plateau. Good luck with your flight and hope you have an amazing holiday.
JontyDoggle37 hope you continue to feel well now you're off the steroids.
I'm having a lazy morning and haven't weighed yet.

MotherOfDragonite · 09/02/2020 09:38

@cricketmum84 if you are looking for an idea for the cabbage, I absolutely love it with soy sauce and ginger! (I grate the ginger and then just squeeze it to get the juice out and use that)

KedsAndTubeSocks · 09/02/2020 09:49

Ate too much at a friend's house last night, but I swam a mile yesterday and ran 3.5 miles this morning so not feeling too bad about life today!

recklessgran · 09/02/2020 09:55

Morning all, really hope you get off safely on your holiday @Egghead68 and well done on your losses - have a great time. It's awfully windy here in rural Northamptonshire. I've just been out and taken all the hanging baskets into the garage.
Good day yesterday food wise for me. Egg salad for lunch and chicken salad for dinner. We had friends over so they had chicken in white wine sauce and trifle to follow which obviously I avoided along with the wine. We had a lovely evening though.
Today is OMAD and lots of water for me ahead of my weigh in tomorrow. I'm making a roast chicken dinner but will obviously give the roast potatoes, gravy and Yorkshires a swerve.
No plans to go out today so probably get some cleaning done. Have a good day all.

lboogy · 09/02/2020 10:13

Morning all. I'm down to 78.5kg. Went out with friends last night so I had only tomato soup all day. I eat a starter and vegetables while out- I'm sure that was loaded with butter. Also had a JD and Diet Coke. Not too bad considering I wanted to devour some chips and a burger.
Hoping to be down to 75kg by the end of the month.

chrispenrallt1 · 09/02/2020 10:41

egghead, I came back from SriLanka last Saturday, it was the most fabulous holiday ever. Where about s are you going?

JessJonesJumps · 09/02/2020 10:51

Some great losses - well done everyone!
Egghead I hope the weather settles and you get away. It's very windy here.
Jonty good news that you've started to lose almost as soon as you finished the steroids.
I'm down another 0.2lbs so I still start with a 12. I'm now cautiously optimistic that I have broken out of the 13s. may have just jinxed myself
