I got back to routine today with food
Have walked dog every day this week
I'm away Friday night & Sat night but they'll be 2 meal days rather than 3 most likely and I'll enjoy them. Christmas mindless eating is done for now.

3 eggs scrambled on irwins toast for brunch

Text from plumber this morning, he'll be able to fit tank tomorrow

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/12/2019 18:39

Mmm cheese, crackers and after 8s

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2019 20:05

Dinner was leftovers & sweet potato fries no vegetables Shock---- plus a glass & a half of wine & mini shot glass dessert from Aldi

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2019 05:58

I did over 20,000 steps yesterday, sadly I also ate around 20k cals! Well not quite but I did go a tad mad. So that’s the 3 days done, going to drag my eating back to no more than 2000 a day for the rest of the weekend. That’s my latest plan😂

Scales today was not pretty. 128.5 +3 I think or maybe 4.
Going to rein it back in again from today. Can't make gym as it clashes with pony ride.
Lots of fruit is the order of the day today. Movement required in more than one sense. Sorry tmi

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2019 07:39

Clearly lack of, ahem, movement counts for a good chunk of that life. 2-3 days will see you back to normal.
Been awake since 4’ish, did some tidying, stripped guest bed, went to bottle bank, waiting for wash to finish, then I’m off for a walk since I’m out for shopping/lunch this avo. I’ve bagged up all selection boxes and the kids will have the stuff managed appropriately instead of the chocolate for breakfast/lunch and dinner approach they’ve been allowed the last few days. This might not go down too well but it’s for the best. I’ve a small box with a few Ferraro Rocher, truffles and 3 small bars that are mine. I’ll put them out of the way shortly, find out of sight really is the most successful approach for me. I managed 3 weeks without a square of chocolate, I don’t want to go back to daily indulgence, it’s a gateway food for me. I’d be better having a bit of cheese with crackers!

Life an unfortunate side effect of not eating as well as we usually do

I ate a second shot glass dessert too, just to get the pack finished Hmm

I'm delighted with the meat I got for this year's Christmas dinner, I've just enough turkey to freeze for one dinner & ham for carbonara for the three of using during the week & some sandwiches. Last year I'd way too much & ended up throwing it out mid feb from freezer as I was sick of it Smile

I'll weigh soon

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2019 07:42

You've been busy not Grin

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2019 07:46

Devil makes work for idol hands happier 😉
This is going to be a lonnnnng day

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2019 07:50

Blimey not I need a lie down just looking at that list.
I'm hiding food too to ration it out. It's me that's the issue not the DC. DS is a sugar addict though.

Wolfcub · 27/12/2019 08:03

I've put all ds's chocolate in the snack/treat box he can eat those after school instead of biscuits for a while. He used to be able to be trusted to have them in his room but no longer

I've not weighed yet today but after several pints and several bottles of prosecco yesterday I dread to think.

We will be going for a walk later!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 27/12/2019 08:22

Wow not, just looking at that list makes me feel tired!
Weight sts.
Going to see Disney on ice with the little one, my friend and her dcs.
Our poor cat has a lump on his chest/shoulder that is weeping, so eldest is going to take him to a vet, I just have to ring to see if any can see him today, which I'm sure won't be a problem.

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2019 08:38

Last weigh in of this week -1.3lbs from yesterday & gain of 1.7lbs for the week. It's Christmas I'll take that.

I've one tin of heroes open it has had the last of celebrations plus milk tray decanted into it. This will be in the treats press. The second unopened tin plus the box of butlers will be put away. They only got two small selection boxes each here which was great, they probably have more at their dads.

I woke at 3am for a while & again at 7am I'm only getting up now. Drank pint of miwadi at 3am so that probably caused the 7am waking.

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2019 08:38

Hope cats ok curvy

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2019 09:24

Breakfast tracked.

Hope it's nothing too serious with the puddytatt.

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2019 10:13

That’s great happier, most of that will be gone come Monday. Just calculated my average as 164.1, last Sunday was 161.6 so 2.5 up with 2 weigh ins to go, that is not bad! Saying that though, it hasn’t made it into my Fitbit app, if I’m feeling brave I’ll enter them all in on Sunday (how ridiculous!)
Oh no curvy, you poor cat, that sounds nasty. Hope the vet can give you something potent to fix swiftly.
Sorry to tired y’all out even more but I’m just back from an hours walk and a bargain haul from Aldi I’m going to do a bit of batch cooking with before I go shopping😬 I’ll have one glass of wine tonight & pass out!

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2019 10:37

Maybe not because we're away for two nights with restaurant dinners & hotel buffet breakfastsGrin

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2019 10:48

Ooh that sounds great happier, hope you have a ball! We went away after Christmas last year but we’re holiday & mini-breaked out this year (although I’m tempted!)

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2019 11:54

Not I can't keep up with you, we're getting out with dog when we go home & then I'm packing.
I've met bf twice while on holidays but it'll be nice to spend decent time together

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2019 15:17

Lunch was pasta carbonara using ham from Christmas Day Grin

Breakfast was deli counter petit pain with a sausage a piece of pudding and a hash brown followed by a pack of Pom bears & washed down by a can of Pepsi Max

Dog was walked & no chocolate was consumed Grin

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2019 17:13

Lunch was pizza, in a carb coma...nearly 20,000 steps, spent €€€

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2019 17:23

Cold meat and baked pot wedges for tea. Will meet calories but no macros or steps. Baby steps

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2019 18:33

300 it as I fell in to the after 8s. All open ones gone now. Will hide rest

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 27/12/2019 21:29

Aww thanks all. So our cat has a skin tag that has got infected, he will go in next week to have an operation to have it removed. I took him in the end because we couldn't get a morning appointment.
The vet said it is quite unusual for a cat to get one in that location, but is pretty confident that it isn't anything serious.
He is an indoor cat, so hasn't been in any fights or anything.

Have been out with both my girls and we got pizza Express, ds2 didn't want to go, so probably a million calories, but I have done 18627 steps, so I'm hoping I've not done too much damage.
My dd1 goes back to Edinburgh tomorrow, and we always have a meal somewhere before she goes back.

Not2bObvious · 28/12/2019 08:19

Poor cat, glad you know what it is though and it’s going to be dealt with curvy
I am unbelievably bloated after my pizza lunch (crisps, wine, chocolateBlush) Scales shot up another 2lb overnight, unreal! You can see why people want to low carb. I’m starving now since I had no dinner apart from junk so eggs x 2 and a slice of wholemeal toast. Today is going to be nutrient dense, no blooming crisps!
