I have Oreos instead of jaffas now, a few more calories each but I like all the different flavours, I've been on Oreos for ages. I was literally having cheese about half hour before bed, about 1h 30 after I'd had my Oreos 😂 I've stopped the cheese and have jelly instead of I'm peckish. Cheese was obviously making me maintain but tbh I wasn't weighing it or anything. I've also stopped having mature cheddar on my chilli or spag bol and have that napolina powdery cheese that comes in a tub instead, just like I did when I was using weight.

*losing weight

Ooo loads of updates Grin. Happy Friday everyone!

Not woohoo on the scales staying at 11.7 Flowers (ignore the .2 Wink) and that's a brilliant bit of exercise again this morning. I know exactly what you mean about a can't be filled day It's just a BH for us (opposite end of the month for UK) but it's our last one for the Summer so I am declaring we can give ourselves a breather Wink sorry that probably isn't helping Blush. In case I'm not back in time have a fab night tomorrow.

caggie I'm in awe that you felt stuffed on only 1090 - what did you eat (so that I can rob your idea Wink). Boo at going back to work but hope it's work you enjoy. Good luck for the weigh-in!!!

Ah Porcus that was a lot to deal with at once - work and DC - hope all is well now. And like Not said a burger and chips isn't bad at all - it's much better than just snacking/binging on a load of unnecessary stuff.

Hi Must!! woohoo for staying at 10st 6. Am I reading it right that you just have to lose 2lbs in 5 weeks? If so, you shouldn't need much of a deficit at all - I am jealous Wink but I know maintenance/semi-maintenance can be harder than being really strict. Well done on resisting the cheese and the jelly pots sound like a great idea.

I had a tiny bit of indulgence yesterday (sausages for lunch and ice cream before bed) bringing me to 1265, but I have lost the plot already today - completely in "bank holiday = eat loads" mindset Hmm. I'm at 912 already (big slice of cake with my lunch and packet of WW crisps just now) and H and I are supposed to be going for a 'nice' dinner (possibly Italian) so I could well come in at around 2500, sigh. I am justifying it by expecting a lean day tomorrow and Sunday but I'll have to really mean that and not let one bad day turn into 4 Confused.

I'll try to check in over the weekend but have a good w/end everyone.

MustBeThin · 04/08/2017 16:15

Hi Daw yes would like to get back to 10st 4 by then, I've basically hovered around 10st 7 all year but I haven't been calorie counting or anything. I'm just trying to give myself some wiggle room now before my hols although I have a few dinners out planned before then, I'm still not counting cals I'm just going to roughly stick to the sort of things I ate to lose weight before. Cutting out cheese seems to be helping a bit. I do only have 2lb to lose but think I could struggle as towards the end of my weight loss I could take 3 weeks to lose 1lb sticking to 1200 cals a day Sad sometimes though I could lose another 1lb within 4-5 days after.

Have a good dinner out! Tomorrow is a new day eating 2500cals won't make you gain a real lb.
Grin

caggie09 · 04/08/2017 17:50

Well done everyone! Just catching up now!

Must I am also a big fan of the Hartleys jelly pots. Had an orange one with dinner today. It was the last one though so need to get some more in! :(

So, Ive weighed in and ive hit 11st! Very happy Grin Ive lost 1st 7lbs, now my next goal is to get down to 10st 7. Argh, I cant explain how proud I feel. I actually stuck to a ''diet'' this time. 70 days ago I was 12st 7 and felt horrible, I feel so much happier now and cant wait to shift the rest! I am having a night off now though, I want a Chinese for tea and I'm starving! Will be getting back to it tomorrow and I'm not allowing room for f&ck ups until next Friday. My weight loss journal has arrived so I'm excited to use it (sad, I know), should add abit of fun into this weight loss malarkey. Ive got coloured pens and stickers for it aswell, Blush
Have a good evening everyone!

MustBeThin · 04/08/2017 18:08

Woop well done Caggie that's brilliant.
I love a jelly pot, funny when I was a kids I used to hate jelly and ice cream, always found jelly a bit pointless and would rather have just ice cream. Grin now though I think it's great, I can eat it when I'm peckish and it doesn't make much difference to my calories. My favourite is strawberry.
I've got a fridge full of different flavours, just a heads up if you didn't already know. B&M bargains have them at 25p each if you have one near you, only a couple of flavours though and Asda have packs of 6 (1 flavour in the pack) for £2.

caggie09 · 04/08/2017 18:43

Blackcurrent is my fave! I have seen them in b&m for 25p, thats makes it even more better. Low cal and cheap! Used to buy them at Asda, 6 for £3 (mix and match) seems a rip off now compared to b&m. Jelly isbt just for children, its for us adults too!😂

Not2bObvious · 05/08/2017 12:26

Feeling a little delicate today, had a few too many last night😩 I think tonight will probably be a stay in rather than go out so that's something. I didn't overeat yesterday but definitely over-drank. Anyway trying to rouse myself to go for a walk, told dd is bring her shopping. I must be still drunk😔

Hello everyone :-),
I have been fed and watered so checking in and finishing the day on 1220. Already added the two snacks ill be having later on, I'm defo a night timer snacker, so like having a little something to look forward too. Tomorrow is the dreaded Sunday, I'm going to try my best not to indulge and stick to a meal plan.
Ohh Not must of been a fun night! Hope the hangover goes soon!Brew

drspouse · 05/08/2017 19:11

Hello, have been a bit crap lately with a week for work in a foodie city, a week at home cramming in lots of jobs, then another week away for work, slightly less foodie but chained to a desk!
I am pretty sure I put on 3lb but the last three days I've managed to get out for a few walks and to count everything too so onwards and upwards.
Home next week then on holiday but s/c in the UK so it will be easier to keep on track.

caggie09 · 06/08/2017 19:36

Evening all,

Finishing the day on 1344 calories. I actually behaved this Sunday, no secret snacking and stuck to the plan that I had in my head. I have managed to fit a Galaxy Ripple and a bag of low cal crisps in, so that's my night time treat. I'm going to enjoy every bite of that chocolate bar!

I shall check back in tomorrow :-)

MustBeThin · 06/08/2017 20:31

Hope everyone's had a good weekend.

Been 10st 6 for the last 7 days but today I've been out for Sunday lunch and had cheesecake for afters. It was lovely, but will probably see a bloat gain tomorrow. Never mind eh, will hopefully be gone quickly.

Not2bObvious · 07/08/2017 05:38

Very early morning hello from me. Can't sleep so I thought I may as well check in. Food side of things not that bad but drink oh dear😳 Anyway all done now, managed a minuscule deficit over the weekend so I'll be working hard this week with the aim of seeing 11.6 on Friday. BH here and I've a morning gym class booked then a big walk. Lunch out but no🍷. Off the alcohol until Friday. Well done everyone on such restraint over the weekend, I so need to follow y'alls example

OP posts:
MustBeThin · 07/08/2017 08:31

Have a lovely lunch Not

10st 7 as expected this morning, hope it doesn't take long to bugger off after I was stuck at to 10st 7 for months. Why does it take so long to come off but it's so easy to put back on. Hmm

Porcus · 07/08/2017 08:48

Well I ended the week nearly 2300 over my total weekly calorie allowanceConfused
Will try better this week! Am feeling a lot more motivated as one of the pounds I lost has found me again.

Congrats on the 11 Caggie

Not2bObvious · 07/08/2017 16:22

I honestly wouldn't worry must, you should know by now it's just a bit of weekend bloat as you couldn't/wouldn't gain a true pound that quickly. You're out of the swing of this, weekends v usually result in bloat ballast. I'm up 2.6 and I no more believe that's true, I know I didn't lose over the weekend but even with my madness I absolutely didn't eat close to 10,000 calories over what I burned, so took in like 17,000+ cals? Eh no I didn't.
Have done huge amounts of activity, 50 mins walk to gym, 1 hour class, 2 hour walk along a cliff path. Ok it was followed by fish, chips and a magnum but I earned enough. Wrecked now...

OP posts:
caggie09 · 07/08/2017 19:36

Checking in- Finishing on 1,443. Will be more than that, but I didn't log the chocolate covered corn flakes straight from the mixing bowl Blush. Done a fair amount of walking so not feeling to bad about it. Did weigh myself this morning and I seen 10st 12/13 on the scales. Four days to weigh in, would be nice to see that on the scales again on Fri. Porcus I'm sure that pound will fall off, one good week and it will gone!

drspouse · 07/08/2017 21:07

Right I've had a good day re exercise (swim and lots of walking) so I'm feeling a bit better about getting back into the swing of things. Calories under too so may need a biscuit with my tea.

Not2bObvious · 08/08/2017 08:01

Morning all. I meant to reply to you as well
porcus when I was replying to must
Going around 2000 over your allocated weightloss calorie shouldn't result in a gain, just no loss. If you're truly eating less or the same as you burn, you'll see either a drop or maintenance over time. If you weigh daily like I do, you'll see fluctuations, but you'll see a downward trend over time. As I predicted my 2.6 is now only .6 and I'd say I wouldn't even have the .6 "gain" if I wasn't a tad, ahem, sluggish.
caggie I'm sooooo envious of 10.12/13, I know I'll get there it's just a never ending goal for me. I just need to cancel all holidays, weekends, nights out for around 2 months. Although I reckon if I could treat every day the same for 3 weeks I'd get there. Awful pity I have a long weekend away in 2 weeks! Sob

OP posts:
Porcus · 08/08/2017 08:15

Seems everyone's doing really well at the moment!

Not the fish and chips and Magnus sound well deserved. You are doing brilliantly with exercise. Are you seeing a difference in your shape?

Caggie sounds like you're on a roll! I'm sure you'll be in the 10s in no time

Not2bObvious · 08/08/2017 13:42

I think I look good standing up porcus😉 Sitting down I feel v rolly iykwim, more spare tires than quick fit! I really need to drop the body fat, I can fit into 12 perfect and some 10's but honestly too much body fat. A stone at this stage would make such a difference

OP posts:
caggie09 · 08/08/2017 22:38

Hi all, not long finished work. Its been a long day!
I'm over my calories today, not sure by how much because I haven't even logged it. Ive just shoved a massive Cornish pasty in my gob yum, three Nutella bar things also yum This is what happens when I work a late night, I feel like I need to eat to make up for it, even though I had tea at work Confused Got another late shift tomorrow too, so must knock this habit on the head!
Not I know what you mean about the sitting down thing, but I also think my body looks fkn great first thing in the morning. My stomach looks flat. I want my morning body all the time. Unfortunately, its lasts about 2hrs and I'm back to normal! Atleast I know its there though! Id love to be in the 10's, ill see what Fridays WI has instore for me! You'll get there soon Not, your a v determined and motivating lady Grin

Right, I'm off to brush my teeth before I eat anything else in sight! Night Night!

Not2bObvious · 09/08/2017 05:32

That was a long day caggie, on the upside you'll have burned more just being up and about (what are these Nutella things you mention, intrigued and also 😱)
Drum roll pls...back to my preholiday weight of 11.6.8, 3 weeks ago I was 11.12 - pleased to see that number again! Off to my bootcamp v shortly, but tired but hoping my coffee & prework out snack will give me a lift (or at the least that I don't pass out😉)
Having a serious lack of ideas for the tea tonight, what's everyone else having so I can get some ideas?

OP posts:
Porcus · 09/08/2017 06:59

I think I cross posted with you Not I think that the pound is probably mostly bloat from eating badly. I only weigh once a week so don't really notice fluctuations. Your comment about standing vs sitting made me laugh Grin I'm sure you look fantastic sitting as well!

Yum Caggie I would have been powerless when confronted with a pastie and nutella bars too. You've been very good at keeping within your calories so I'm sure this won't make a difference

Porcus · 09/08/2017 07:00

P.s. Not were having Thai green curry tonight if that helps Smile
