What do you think Pippa and Kate weigh?

I know they have skinny genes but both are sensationally trim .
To me they look wonderful , but I know they are probably underweight.
What do you think they weigh? eat ? and what exercise do they do ?

Are you dissecting what the groom or William weigh? Why not?
Stop perpetuating societal sexism by deliberating such an inane point.

WhisperingLoudly · 21/05/2017 10:07

Oh and I think she looks absolutely fab - I'd die for her arms although not actually go to the gym and train

Nospringflower · 21/05/2017 10:07

I think they look great but I am 50kg and 5'4 and i am much bigger than they are (fat round my middle / upper half). So, with their extra height i say 50kg at most.

monkeyfacegrace · 21/05/2017 10:07

I think they look fucking awesome and I want their figures.

I'm 175lb of wobbly disgustingness and I'd kill to look like them. I reckon they are smaller than you think, around 100lb. People always look bigger in pics.

reallyanotherone · 21/05/2017 10:08

. I don't get why people think it's so improbable people have this physique.

Because the vast majority of people struggle with their weight. I eat normally and do minimal exercise, but i'm 1 st overweight. For me to to be 2 st lighter- 9st at 5'4 which according to a recent thread, is massive i'd have to eat around 800 calories per day. So for me it is pretty unachievable.

Plus if you ride 3 times a week, wont you be mucking out/grooming etc as well? When i had horses i maintained my weight easily because the stable stuff id as physically demanding as the riding. Having horses is not "minimal exercise", it's hard work!

WhisperingLoudly · 21/05/2017 10:10

pictish I hear you but there is nothing special about the way the groom and/or William look.

If either had an incredible physique there would likely be comments by those who care but they don't. They're very average. Whereas there is no doubt neither pippa or Kate have anything but average figures.

surferjet · 21/05/2017 10:13

pictish
I compare myself to other women of a similar height/ build - I'm not even looking at the men!

Brogadaccio · 21/05/2017 10:13

I don't know if they do naturally have that skinny genes. Kate was quite normal in her weight when William started dating her and when Pippa was first papped I dont remember thinking she was model thin either.

Any woman in the public eye gets thinnner thoough. Pretty much. Won't judge them for it.

I'm going to have toast with chocolate spread on it with my third cup of coffee now, but if I were in the public eye I would have two ryvita and an egg.

wobblywonderwoman · 21/05/2017 10:16

I imagine 7 and a half stone (Kate) and Pippa has more muscle so I am not sure.

Stunning figures.

Brogadaccio · 21/05/2017 10:16

I think Kate is very sensible. If there were ever a headline about her looking emaciated and drawing comparisons with Diana, I think she'd say ok, I'm going to eat an extra half an avocado today. Throw and extra egg in my salad.

HoosierDaddy · 21/05/2017 10:18

I think they both look healthy, not skinny. They are toned / slim from their natural build and possibly exercise and sport, but both have healthy looking skin, hair, and have boobs. When people get too skinny they often look pinched and grey, and their chests disappear. sweeping statement and generalisation

I agree that our perception of "too thin" has become skewed. If we looked at photos of family or friends' weddings in the 70s/80s, Pippa and Kate wouldn't look out of place.

SoupDragon · 21/05/2017 10:24

How much do you weigh, OP?
What do you eat?
What exercise do you do?

twattymctwatterson · 21/05/2017 10:25

How would you feel if a bunch of random people were speculating about what you weigh OP?

Deux · 21/05/2017 10:25

They look healthy. They're not fat. They're definitely not less than 50kg that's a bonkers suggestion and just goes to show how skewed perceptions are when we're surrounded by overweight people.

And no the vast majority of people don't have a problem with their eating/weight. It's about a third isn't it and increasing?

I'm the same height as Pippa and was similarly toned when I got married and I weighed about 55kg and was a size 8, occasional 6, occasional 10. She's very muscly too.

boolifooli · 21/05/2017 10:25

Why do you ask. Would you like to know what their husbands weigh?

PacificDogwod · 21/05/2017 10:26

Oh FGS, leave those women alone!

Angry
Fiona1984 · 21/05/2017 10:26

I'm a similar size to Pippa, looking at the photos. 5'6" and a size 6/8. Last time I Weighed myself I was 59kg, which is 9st 4lb, but that was fully clothed.
I'm naturally slim, I was quite toned due to doing pole fitness (which incidentally is great for your arms), but I've not been able to exercise for a few weeks due to a trapped nerve :(

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 21/05/2017 10:26

They eat far better than your average woman!

No processed crap in their cupboards.... well, not much anyway. Maybe staff/chefs keep them healthy and the money to dine out well

They don't look 'thin' or 'skinny' or 'gaunt'...Hmm.... notice the body shaming is going unchallenged here

Abra1d · 21/05/2017 10:26

Kate is 5'9"
Pippa is 5'5", quite long in the body, which may or may not make her look taller, don't know how these things work.

CricketRuntAndRashers · 21/05/2017 10:28

healthyceleb.com/kate-middleton-height-weight-body-statistics/2974

175 and 55 kg. so... BMI of 18.

I do think Kate's chest looks extremely bony tbh. And as for "she looks healthy". Well... With enough money/care? Certainly, yes.

I don't think having their body shape/weight means one is underweight. Kate simply looks very bony.

Pippa looks healthy imo. Maybe she's more muscular/athletic? I'd love to have Pippa's body. (ok, I'm currently very pregnant, have swollen feet etc... So, ehm. yes. Anyhow...)

Deux · 21/05/2017 10:29

I agree. Stop body-shaming women who are healthy weights and so obviously not fat.

Much easier to say oh those Middleton girls are too skinny than say oh I'm too fat.

habibihabibi · 21/05/2017 10:32

Definitely agree with you Hoosier . When I look at photos of my mother's from the 60s and 70s everyone was slim.

OP posts:
Brogadaccio · 21/05/2017 10:32

Who's bodyshaming them!? they look fabulous. That's what we're all supposed to look like!

But in this world of roasted chickens for sale in Centra rather than having to go out and hunt for wilderbeast and bring it back to camp and build a fire, then it's hard to look like pippa

charliethebear · 21/05/2017 10:32

I reckon Kate about 8st? Maybe 8 1/2. I'm 5'7 and weigh 9 1/2st and I'm considerably bigger than Kate, my friend is 5'7, reasonably athletic and 8 1/2 and she looks bigger than Kate too, assuming Kate is a bit taller they probably weigh similar amounts. I think they both look lovely, they obviously are very slim and toned

EpoxyResin · 21/05/2017 10:32

As someone who was told at various points in my life firstly that I was unhealthily thin when I was healthy, then later that I wasn't thin enough for treatment for a severe eating disorder which nearly killed me, I can guarantee you you will have literally no idea how healthy someone's body or eating habits are by looking at them.
