Can I start a new thread? Hope you don't mind.
Just had a really bad weight gain at group tonight and need a fresh start. Thought a fresh new thread would help.
After a 6lb weight loss last weeek have just had a bad weigh in with a gain of 3 1/2lb. .
So tomorrow is a new day, start of a new week and I am going to work hard at it!!!
Who wants to join me for a good week ahead?

Summer is on it's way and we are all going to look good!

Well done mamazon!!

Have you ever lifted 1lb of butter & looked at it???? you should do this when you get annoyed at 'only' losing 1lb or 1/2lb!

I have my weigh in tonight.#

Have been exercising mad all week & will be gutted if I don't lose anything.

Had my weigh-in tonight, lost 1lb.

Am a bit pissed off as I have exercised every day this week sometimes twice a day But hopefully it will show next week

Anyone else weigh in tonight?

howmany points do u use on Slimming world?

cos week one and I have used 15 a day

which i know is upper limit but i have shed loads to lose !

am not expecting ot hav elost anythign tomorrow!

So sorry I haven't been on, feel really bad. Eaten all the wrong foods, put on 2lb then lost 2lb tonight but still eating wrong foods. Felt bad to come on here when I wasn't singing from the same book.

I - can I join in? I am doing Sw at home with an old book iven to me and the magazine - and any support and advice I can get from here....

First aim is to lose half a stone and then work on the other 1.5 stones! Going away in 4 weeks to want to get to first target by then.

Well, I put a pound on. Serves me right! And I think it might be my star week too. I had to do the weighing at class today. It's not as easy as it looks!! My brain hasn't worked that hard for years!!! Everybody said I was a lucky charm because there was 55lb lost and only 9lb gained! And one of those was mine!!LOL!!!

AL, wondered where you were, you can still come on here to chat you know, we won't eat you. Not unless we're on a red day

Andyrobo, you should be able to lose half a stone in four weeks especially if you are just starting the plan. Good luck!!

Hi everyone, well first week and despite eating 15 syns a day i lost 2.5 pounds! hurrah, i think i can so live like this, doesnt seem like a diet when its been sw chips (with yummy dips and beer every night!!)

Welcome to new members

I've had an original day, can any of the experts take a wee read & tell me if this is ok on a red day, please....

I had:

A banana & an apple [breakfast]
One chicken breast with peppers [lunch]

One chicken kebab with green pepper, mushroom & onion
2 chicken drumstick with the skin pulled off
1 mince beef folded into a flat pate thing, pure mince beef as dh made it
1 spare rib
Rocket lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber & fat free salad dressing

Does anyone know if there are syns in the spare rib?

Also, I have had no HE's today, do I need to eat them every day? If I do then I will have a wholemeal roll toasted with some dairylea light soon

well i re-joined tonight - weighed in at 11 stone 2lbs so aim to lose 2 lbs by next week!! Well done to you all!

That looks like an excellent red day, well done you. Think the rib is free, but don't take it as gospel! You don't have to have the HE's, but it is recomended. You can well afford to have them, so you should.It will feel really naughty, tucking into a cheesy snack!

I'm eating a skinny cow as I type.......not so healthy!!!

Thanks BAHB, Yes we had a BBQ!! I forgot to post that but I guess it's obvious from what I had eaten!!

Might have a bowl of oat so simple.

5 and a half pounds, wow!!!!

I'm off to a hen weekend tomorrow so will probably use more than 15 syns. More like 150! Just going to enjoy it and hopefully dance it off.

So whats everyone got for dinner. Can't be bothered to cook, might ask dh if we can go out for dinner and have a huge steak!!!

I've had a very busy day today & hardly had time to eat!!

Had: A banana for breakfast.

An apple later on

Pasta with mozarella for lunch

Another apple

2 small wholemeal rolls with banana for dinner [not really hungry & too warm to eat!]

Will make up a fruit salad later & stuff my face
