CGMH - I know how hard it is to switch your mind from WW to SW. Most of us have been there, haven't we?
Seriously you can eat, eat and oh eat lots. All the free food you want. If you read in your book, at the front there is a bit about why this works. Read it, it helps you to make sense.
But I will try to compare WW and SW and unwrap your WWness to open up your SWness.
Ok. On WW you are given points. What you SPEND your points on is up to you. So what do you choose the piece of WW fudge brownie dessert or the 2 plums, apple, banana etc etc. Let me guess it will be the fudge brownie because it tastes nicer and is naughtier. And we all like naughty stuff, hence, being on a diet. So no fruit had.
On SW, you have free foods, literally eat until you are full, no weighing etc. Only first four weeks write it down for your consultant to check, to see if you have understood the plan. Here's the difference, remember the fudge brownie above and fruit? Well on SW you would have all of them. You would eat the fruit and start feeling full. Do you need the dessert? Maybe in an hour or not? Because I am so full. Hour later, have the fudge brownie its 8 syns (made up syn value ) and YOU can have this too.
SW - EAT EAT EAT SLIM SLIM SLIM, NEVER FEEL HUNGRY
WW - RESTRICTED EAT, FEEL HUNGRY
My biggest observation for SW and WW. WW encourage you to buy their range of food. Easy for you the points are on it. So your family and friends eat their meal and you have a ping dinner, how exciting.
SW - You make meals and fill up and you can have a steak dinner, or spag bol, or roast dinner and your plate is only a little bit diff from everyone elses.
SW encouraged me to cook.
