Can I start a new thread? Hope you don't mind.
Just had a really bad weight gain at group tonight and need a fresh start. Thought a fresh new thread would help.
After a 6lb weight loss last weeek have just had a bad weigh in with a gain of 3 1/2lb. .
So tomorrow is a new day, start of a new week and I am going to work hard at it!!!
Who wants to join me for a good week ahead?

Summer is on it's way and we are all going to look good!

Wellll, I don't even know where to start!!

We were away this weekend! For lunch on Friday I had pasta & chilli chicken [healthy enough as I asked for no sauce, just dry chicken] Then an ice-cream

On Fri night I had baked potato & chicken [with a mushroom sauce which I had on the side, had a little of that] Then I had 3 west coast coolers [scared to know the syns in that!] Also had a digestive with coffee

For brekkie on Saturday I was very pleased to see fresh fruit on the menu!! Followed by 2 fried eggs, mushrooms & tomatoes!! I know these are all free on green, though I am absoultely certain that they were not cooked in fry light Had a custard cream with coffee....& a pkt of munchies

Lunch was 2 chicken wings in the pub
Dinner was melon & grapefruit for starters, then a huge bowl of pasta with pesto & paramesan [this was absolutely to die for.. pasta just freshly made!!!!] & some fresh fruit salad for dessert [this wasn't on the menu but I asked the waitress if it was possible, she said yes, it was huge!!]

Then 3 wines in the pub

Today was a mess... enough said!!

I had free foods all day Thur & will have free foods all day Mon, Tue & wed & see if I can pull it back a bit... but if it hadn't been for the booze I think it would have been ok!!

Ok, that's my confessional over, shall go to a dark, quiet corner & do my penance

AlphaLolly · 15/04/2007 21:56

ff2 - come out of the dark corner.

You only do what we all do

AlphaLolly · 15/04/2007 21:59

Sounds like you enjoyed your weekend.

I thought I had killed the thread.

Sounds like you made good choices - I wouldn't of been asking for a fruit salad that wasn't on the menu. I would of had the biggest slice of cake

Minature crown for you

Sparkler1 · 15/04/2007 22:03

Welcome back FF - glad to hear you had a lovely weekend. I am impressed with the choices that you made while you were away. When I have a night out planned or a weekend away I don't even think about Slimming World - I just got for whatever I can get my hands on. Well, life's too short sometimes.
I'm still being good. Had a bottle of Corona lager tonight as hadn't had any syns today. Not sure how many syns it was but it was ice cold and lovely - sat in the garden drinking it after I'd put kids to bed. Fortunately there aren't any left otherwise I would have had another.

Sparkler, you wouldn't have been too impressed later on last night when I scoffed 3 slices of pizza

Today have had fruit & pasta so far so good

Sparkler1 · 16/04/2007 21:47

Well that's a start!
I'm still being good - must be a record for me! - 3 days til weigh in.

Hi Christie - I've been getting on scales too and not seeing much movement. It hasn't taken my motivation away as yet. I'm on a mission. I told my group that my mini target this week would be 3lb so I have to work at it.

C'mon Christie - keep motivated - stick with me!

I weigh myself on scales daily too - & yes youu shouldn't... but do remember to measure yourself - as many times the scales don't move but you are getting slimmer

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 13:58

I don't own any scales......... apart from my kitchen ones ..................

OMG i've lost trillions of stones I weigh 1kg!!!!

That's what the scales said

Sparkler1 · 17/04/2007 16:16

Joby that's what's happened to my mum - she comes to SW with me and has lost weight, albeit a small amount, but somehow she has gone down a size in clothes.

Lllllllllllledodgy · 17/04/2007 17:13

Oh god I was so good up till Yesterday when I met a friend for one drink that turned into several I ended up in town until 2pm with 30 asda staff drinking bottles of stella. I've well gone over my syns and we're getting takeaway tonight. Going to have to face up to it and get weighed tommorrow night then get back on the right track from then until summer!

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 17:20

Think they are high but will look online if you want

AL x

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 17:22

Who are they made by?

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 17:23

7.5 syns a bag for toffee

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 17:24

2.5 syns for the salt ones

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 17:25

The 7.5 syns is for a 35g so if you work it out for 23g that is ..............

5 syns

HTH

PS I didn't think they were that nice

assumpta · 17/04/2007 17:37

I havent actually tried them before, but I will let you know. Thank you for the info. How did you work it out?

AlphaLolly · 17/04/2007 17:47

Went online - Syns online.

7.5syns divided by 35 (grams) and multiplied by 23 = 5 syns.

assumpta · 17/04/2007 18:20

Thank you. They were very nice.
