Can I start a new thread? Hope you don't mind.
Just had a really bad weight gain at group tonight and need a fresh start. Thought a fresh new thread would help.
After a 6lb weight loss last weeek have just had a bad weigh in with a gain of 3 1/2lb. .
So tomorrow is a new day, start of a new week and I am going to work hard at it!!!
Who wants to join me for a good week ahead?

Summer is on it's way and we are all going to look good!

She is not a consultant..............but she could be. Feel a possible double act coming on.

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:16

Double act eh

Moi, a consultant, I can dream can't I?

I would fear that they would all come in with chocs

The little SOWeek basket would be filled with Curly Wurlys, Party Rings.... A girl can dream ha ha

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:18

How many syns in a piece of fudge brownie, flap jack, 2 fairy cakes, 2 cheesy biscuits (meant to be for dd) and a load of peppermint creams??????????????

Too many!!! Oh well 41 mins left of my Twilight Zone.

Feel really really sick

mamazon · 18/04/2007 23:24
AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:26

AL pushes her chair next to M.

Nice to meet you, fancy a curly wurly, party ring or a Hi fi Bar????

Round of applause to you

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:29

LGJ - Forgot to tell you, whilst H was away we had a replacement. Very good, but you know all that clapping we do.

She only double clapped every person

All us were just laughing all the time.

Well done you lost 2lb, clap clap. Blah blah and well done you lost 2lb.

Stop the clapping twice pleasssseeee.

Clapping is good but just the once each

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:30

AL started to tap foot - don't you want my curly wurly.....???

Its ok its not the single one for 6.5 syns, its from the multipack for 6 syns......

mamazon · 18/04/2007 23:32

pmsl.
i must admit i found the whole clapping everyone that lost wieght and then talking sternly about the "failers" who put on was rather school like, but hey if it works i'l try it.

please dont offer me curly wurly's i love curly wurly's....and i don't know what Hi-Fi bars taste like but omg theyt look awfull.

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:45

M - You can have two curly wurly's every day if you wanted. Seriously!!!!

I like the clapping, trust me once you get used to it for a few months you will feel the love for clapping

We don't get telling off for putting on weight, I swear our class is more like a social night out

And the healthy bars, try the choc and orange ones yummy! Seriously good. You'll be eaten yours next week, after weigh in and you will have a light bulb moment.

Lightbulb - Must get on MN and tell AL the choc and orange ones are goooooddddd!!!!!

Stick your curly wurlys in the freezer and buy the multipacks - 6 syns each.

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:47

"Welcome to class everyone. Tonight we have a new member. Everyone welcome MAMAZON"

Load clapping

AlphaLolly · 18/04/2007 23:47

Loud not load, duh

mamazon · 18/04/2007 23:52

aww thanks.
i feel the urge to stand and say "hi, im mamazon and im fat"

i was expecting the class to be like that programme....can't remember what it was called, where they all went ot the pub after the class.

instead it was like a meeting of the local WI.

but less chat more weight loss i guess.

I am quite proud of myself i have only had about 7syns all day and resisted the choccy donuts that were in offer in ASDA

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:04

More like WI

You need to come over to our one - AL hopes Mamazon didn't go to the same one as AL and think it was WI

Fat friends was that tv show. I'd say a lot of us are like that minus the pub.

Stuff your face with free foods, soon you will have a sticker

mamazon · 19/04/2007 00:07

the lady who runs it also does one during the daytime so i think i might try that one out too, see if there are any members who still have a pulse.

ooh a sticker hey? its just so exciting.

loobysmum · 19/04/2007 00:13

Just off to bed but thought I'd jump on quickly to let you know that password this week is "skipping". Mamazon, don't like the sound of your consultant much, talking about "failers". We don't get that at our class and I thought SW was proud of the fact that everyone who comes to a class gets positive feedback and encouragement, irrespective of whether they've lost that week or not. Blimey, I'd be in the "Failers' Gang" on a regular basis, and I can't imagine it would motivate me much to have my inadequacies pointed out to me. Face it, we beat ourselves up enough when we don't lose or we gain without the consultant wading in!! Much better to hang out here in our on-line MN class with our newly appointed "Virtual Consultant", AlphaLolly, who is much kinder and is going to try to find out about Flyte bars, which makes her an all out good guy in my book!! Anyway, 'night 'night everyone.

loobysmum · 19/04/2007 00:17

I'm going to pretend I never heard the remark about choccy donuts on offer in Asda. I may well dream about them tonight tho' .....

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:23

Me the virtual consultant wow

Well just be your on line syn checker for now. Plus it might help me get more focused.

Will let you know how I get on with the flyte bar!!!! Fingers crossed it will be on here in the morning for you. Have you eaten it yet? I always thought they tasted of DIET chocolate

Skipping off to find out the info online for you.

This is what our consultant says if we gain

"Good week Little blip, so are we all focused for next week. Yes you are. Well well done because you have lost trillions of pounds" and lots of clapping of course.

x

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:23

Jam donut - 11 syns ...............................................................

yummmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:24

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:26

What about if we put the calories etc into syns online. give me all the info and i'll find out

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:28

Found it found it found it found it

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 00:31

11 minutes and I found it - in my food directory!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flyte bar treat size = 5 syns

Flyte bar twin bar = 10 syns

Flyte Ice cream = 13 syns

Happy to deliver syns for chocs

Enjoy! Think its just me on here now so best go to sleep too I think

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 08:48

bump for loobysmum

loobysmum · 19/04/2007 09:27

Alphalolly, you're a star!! Thank you! Bit disappointed that its 10 syns for a double bar as, yes, I HAD eaten it already and a bag of square crisps . Will just have to be extra good today. Forgotten my SW friendly lunch (quorn mince left over from cottage pie last night, to be heated in office microwave!) Any ideas for a shop-bought alternative? Sandwich or salad perhaps? Never know how to calculate it properly when I haven't made it myself.

Better go and do some work now ......

AlphaLolly · 19/04/2007 09:47

Do you go to classes at all, you need a food directory A whole new world.

I would not go near a sandwich out as they are about 15 syns each.

Can you not get a jacket and beans from somewhere. Or buy a spud - microwave and put 5 laughing cows or ready made grated cheese.

With the packet salads they are not worth it - I would buy plum toms, bag of salad leaves.

My lunch time safety is 7 (yes 7) wholemeal crackerbreak in a brown box and 5 light laughing cows and throw in some toms.

Enjoy. I am sure the treat last night won't show.

Curly wurly for 6 syns anyone.

Right off to toddlers for me cup of tea.
