I did actually have jacket potato and salad and I'm glad I waited it was lovely Smile
Swimming is so nice isn't it.
It's just the getting dry and dressed I hate.

It was really great
I need to get a proper swim suit though, my tankini thing was too floppy Blush

Today went out for a coffee and was trying to convince myself to have a piece of cake, and ended up just having a almond biscuit thing, feel like my mindset is slowly slowly changing

Hi everyone! Its FridayGrin Looking forward to a long weekend. Its DSs birthday party on Sunday and I will not be snacking on any party food! Braces are really helping as I can't snack at all with them in. Such a faff taking them out and brushing/flossing afterwards that I am just sticking to my 3 meals all the time now. I weighed myself this morning. Since the beginning of October I have lost 18lb. Clothes are beginning to feel loose. I am feeling very calm and in control around food this week.
Have a great weekend everyone Smile

Well done Posie that's brilliant progress. I've been asked out for afternoon tea and got all excited as I've never been. Then remembered I don't really like cake any more Grin
I keep falling asleep after work so I need to address what's missing from my diet I think.
Have a good weekend all !

beela · 28/04/2017 17:43

Go us Halo sounds as though some brilliant new habits are coming. It's definitely feeling like the normal way of eating now. I think I just used to graze constantly before!

Posie it's my dd's birthday party on Sunday too. I'm going to major on cups of tea.

beela · 28/04/2017 17:44

I still like cake though.

twofloorsup · 28/04/2017 18:42

Beela I think I'm scared if I try cake I'll discover that I do actually still like it after all Grin

beela · 28/04/2017 18:53
Grin

I try to stick to really good cake so that it's worth it.

twofloorsup · 28/04/2017 19:11

I'm pretty good at baking so I dare not risk it Grin

beela · 28/04/2017 21:59

Haha two, me too! I've been missing my baking.

twofloorsup · 29/04/2017 07:21

I love it but my kids were never that fussed so I used to eat most of it Shock
Luckily I still get to play at it in my job Smile

PosiePootlePerkins · 30/04/2017 22:35

Phew that was a busy day - my wonderful DH flew back from Spain late last night so he could be here for DS's birthday party today, he flies back again early tomorrow morning. Wish he didn't have to go after such a short visit but pleased he was here for DS. I have eaten rather calorific meals today, I made a lasagne and garlic bread for dinner, and of course there was leftover birthday cake...oh well back on it tomorrow. (I seem to say that every Sunday evening!)
Hope everyone has a good Bank Holiday tomorrow.Smile

Sounds great posie. Brilliant that your dh was able to make it.

We had a lovely birthday weekend with dd too, and I got my baking fix in by making her birthday cake.... and breakfast pancakes.... and birthday tea scones.

Back on it today too Grin just gearing up to do my bank holiday 30 day shred. And might try a bank holiday bike ride with ds later if the rain holds off.

twofloorsup · 01/05/2017 08:37

Loving all the birthday baking Smile
I'm off to the gym to have a personal training session. To see if I can progress any further than a brisk walk on the treadmill Grin
Not eaten so I may well just faceplant and have to do the walk of shame Blush

PosiePootlePerkins · 01/05/2017 09:31

Beela great that your DD had a good birthday tooSmile I always feel a certain sense of relief when they're over!
Good luck at the gym two.

Thanks Posie I'm alive still Grin

beela · 01/05/2017 16:47

I know what you mean posie!

Well done two. Let us know how you feel tomorrow Grin

twofloorsup · 01/05/2017 18:05

Thanks Beela.
I'm not anticipating being any use at work Grin

AristonAndOn · 03/05/2017 17:41

Hello everyone, just checking in. Hope all is well. I'm standing by my cooking at the moment willing it to hurry up. Making roast chicken.

twofloorsup · 03/05/2017 19:06

That's what I made at work today Ariston. I'm feeling sorry for myself today not feeling well at all and keep falling asleep in the afternoon.
Gym has had to take a back seat which means starting over basically Hmmstill sticking to No S though Smile

AristonAndOn · 03/05/2017 19:31

It's really good you are still sticking with it. I find if I perceive I am failing in any way, I go further off the diet. I can't do the gym as i put my back out, so frustrating, but I must keep to the diet!

twofloorsup · 03/05/2017 19:54

Are you in for a long recovery ?

AristonAndOn · 03/05/2017 20:03

My back went into spasm 6 months ago and I've never quite recovered. It always feels close to happening again and the gym did it this time. It is getting better everyday, but feel it will always be vulnerable. It's quite frustrating as I felt ready to do more than walking. My hips are dodgy too! The joys of getting old 😏

twofloorsup · 03/05/2017 20:54

Ah yeah I hear you !
42 next birthday and an old woman's back to prove it Grin
