Well done for a successful day! If you feel like it you can do a daily check in on the NoS forum, I find it helps me to be accountable even when (especially when) it all goes wrong!
Tea is fine to drink, sadly I am down to 2 cups a day now I have my braces in, I miss my cups of tea!
One more NoS day everyone, hope you all have a good one.Smile

Thanks for that Posie, starting to get into the swing of things now. Sugar cravings dropping off as well, which is always good!

AristonAndOn · 14/04/2017 19:02

Hellloo. Been a weird week, had visitors come for a few days and lots of meals out and I really went off the diet. I was cross with myself, but have now managed 2 days back on plan, so I'm feeling much more in control. Regarding those sugar cravings, I think I have it all under control, and then when I let myself have some that's all I can think about! I haven't cracked moderation in that way.

twofloorsup · 14/04/2017 20:30

Ariston I think I'd be the same if I allowed myself to eat sugary things so apart from dried fruit I don't really.
I thought about having some chocolate hot cross buns on Sunday but I'm convinced I won't like them.

Or I'll love them and scoff the lot without an ounce of self control Grin

It's a bit of a funny place to be sort of in limbo - got it but dare not risk easing up.

bowbear · 15/04/2017 13:18

Hi Everybody

I hope you're all having a lovely Easter weekend.

I know what you mean Two, I've made it to my first S day but can't bring myself to allow any S's!! I feel like once I do I'll find it hard to get back in the swing of it on Monday. I love hot cross buns and know I'd struggle to stop at one. We've got a family lunch tomorrow so I think I'll plan to enjoy the food and pudding but not have any other snacks/treats. This will be the first year I'm not secretly raiding the kids' egg stash!!

twofloorsup · 15/04/2017 14:16

I'm eating hot cross buns as I don't see them as an S. Oops !!
I'm not planning any S today either as my 3 plates will fill me quite happily.
Hope you're all having a nice Easter.

Riversleep · 15/04/2017 18:06

I've been terrible this week, as i've had visitors and its been very stressful . I'll start again when Im back at work over the BH weekend

beela · 16/04/2017 08:21
Easter Smile Happy Easter everyone. Chocolate for breakfast in the beela household. Back on it with exercise from tomorrow.
twofloorsup · 16/04/2017 10:49

Happy Easter everyone
I'm actually having an S day today as I wanted to taste my daughter's chocolate hot cross bun and when I sat down with my breakfast my pate was off and the avocado didn't taste right. So I am counting it as an S as I technically had seconds. I do wonder if I overthink this ever so slightly Grin
Hope you all have a good weekend.

bowbear · 16/04/2017 11:07

Happy Easter everyone :-)
Hope you all have a lovely day and enjoy some guilt free treats. With off pate and dodgy avocado I see no option but to turn to chocolate hot cross buns!
I've decided to opt out of chocolate but did have a hot cross bun for breakie and looking forward to a roast dinner and pudding later :) As this is a lifestyle change rather than a diet there has to be scope letting your hair down and it's never just one day of indulgence that packs the weight on.

twofloorsup · 16/04/2017 11:20

It is a lifestyle change and therefore does need to make way for treats.
I didn't like the chocolate hot cross buns so went for an ordinary one which was delicious. Nothing to do with the massive slab of butter that went with it Halo

I'm not planning any chocolate today the smell of it makes me feel a bit sick now. My new treat is a handful of Brazil nuts - I'm a little bit addicted Smile

beela · 16/04/2017 12:34

two it's Sunday so it's an S day anyway. You are definitely over thinking Grin

bowbear you are totally right, it's not going to be one day that causes the weight gain. After a week of relaxing the rules a bit on hol, and a chocolatey day today I am actually looking forward to getting back on with my new habits tomorrow.

pitterpatterrain · 16/04/2017 16:26

Hello can I join?
I started doing the no S diet then fell off the wagon (chocolate eggs I'm looking at you...) so will restart tomorrow

twofloorsup · 16/04/2017 16:34

Thanks Beela Smile
I've just had a massive salad and jacket potato it was so nice.
Welcome back Pitter just jump back on and you'll be fine Smile

PosiePootlePerkins · 16/04/2017 19:41

Hi ever Happy Easter! Sounds like we're all coping with Easter reasonably well! We have a ton of chocolate here, I did have some earlier but it tasted really sickly, made me wonder how I managed to trough so much in previous years! Had a super family day out in our new campervan today! A very untraditional Easter lunch of a picnic in the van by the seaside. Heaven.
Had homemade apple crumble and cream after dinner. Feeling full but happySmile

Hi Posie long time no speak Smile
It still amazes me how much our tastes can change and how quickly !

PosiePootlePerkins · 16/04/2017 22:07

Hi twoSmile Life became a bit busy this last week! Had DH home for Easter weekend and we're flying out to Spain to see him on Tuesday, he goes back there tomorrow. Bit nervous about flying with the two DS, I usually have my well travelled DH with me! Planning to stick to NoS as much as poss while away but may take two special days Weds and Thurs. I'll see how it goes.
Might be off grid for a few days, hope everyone has a good week!

Rockaby · 17/04/2017 07:42

Hi everyone!

I haven't been on here in a while and haven't really been following the No S rules either Blush. No excuses, I've just allowed myself to get distracted and ended up slipping into my usual bad habits. I have had some Easter chocolate this morning as well. We got woken up a few times last night by an overexcited toddler and also had an early start with her this morning. Chocolate seemed like the answer at 6 o'clock! Ridiculous behaviour on my part. Anyway, I will stick to three plates for the rest of the day now and get back on plan tomorrow.

I always read on here how many of you just don't want any snacks / sweets etc anymore. I hope I get there eventually as I'm dreadful ATM.

twofloorsup · 17/04/2017 08:43

Morning Rockaby I'd need something being woken that early !
It does come quite quickly once you stick to the three plates for a good few weeks.
It happens naturally so try not to force it. Just keep going it's worth it in the end Smile

beela · 17/04/2017 09:28

Stick at it rockaby and it will come!

Day 1 of 30 day shred done. Now to avoid the easter chocolate Grin

Headingtowardsforty · 17/04/2017 10:08

Morning everyone, I've got on the scales this morning after my first full week (lots to lose and couldn't resist!). Am really pleased to discover I've lost weight, even after enjoying 2 S days. I've decided to have today as a special day as we're off to visit family and have no way of predicting what's on offer. Thanks for all the advice this week.
