Well done Hope. New lows are always great.

I've hit a new low too, 12st0.5lbs. So close!! Although my jubilation was dampened somewhat by my 2 year old pointing at my cold sore saying "oh no mammy, what happened your face?"!

Keepon make a list and stick to it. Or do it online if you can, less chance of a weak moment.

Not2bObvious · 14/09/2016 07:25

Hi keep (waving wildly!) Wrlcome to the wild size, bread pasta rice wine, nothing I'd forbidden just rationed😉 Since I defected I'm must happier, ignoring yesterday's whingefest. I'm eating between 1200-1400 a day, going up a bit at weekends but "trying" to stick to tdee those days with varying success. I don't eat a lot of the carby foods, cause they push the calories up, but I eat enough to satisfy me. Now off for morning weigh in, chat more later

Bathsheba3 · 14/09/2016 07:54

Hope it is good news Not. Well done on new low's hope & Sugar. you're going to be in the 11s very soon tomorrow?

Cinderbelly · 14/09/2016 08:05

Welcome keep I second the list idea and also not to take anyone with you if that's possible, I always end up with 'extras' if DH or the DC come with me.

Well done hope and sugar Grin the bloaty bench is looking empty now which is good Grin

I'm off to get DDs haircut today so will make sure I time it to have breakfast before I go and get back in time for lunch as the hairdressers is right next door to Burger King

Sugarandsalt · 14/09/2016 08:06

It would be amazing! It's so hot maybe I could dehydrate down to it. Hopefully will motivate me not to go mad eating at the weekend. I'll stock up on some healthy stuff at the family house and try to be disciplined at the wedding. I'm a bit of a sucker for champagne and canapés!

Not2bObvious · 14/09/2016 10:24

Morning weigh in of 11.4.2, down from 11.6 yesterday - so despite my munching (1700 cals or soBlush) I'm now only .6 up from last Friday with 2 days to go until this weeks official weigh in. I didn't drink last night in the end - I really don't want to slip into doing that, so I was pleased with myself. Feel much brighter today, sorry for being such a moaning minnie yesterday. Bad nights sleep though so no run this week but I'll get a couple in before the end of the week

DawheadAwgusEeentock · 14/09/2016 10:51

Can I sneak back in Blush only been gone a week but I've missed so much - 11 pages worth!!!

I was off work for a few days so lost the run of myself. Didn't go back on the hardcore chocolate (although am sorely tempted today) but we were doing lots of driving around and every coffee stop included a munchie: muffin/brownie/teacake. That is the next habit I have to tackle - aiming to have a coffee on its own without a treat. We also had a few rubbish dinners including pizza so my average calorie count for last week came to 2100 Sad.

I'm obviously one of those hypocrites who is great at dishing out advice but not following it myself - I never logged any day in advance and only caught up with most of the logging on Monday night Angry. And obvs I didn't make time to post here either Blush.

So weigh-in day today and I have put back on 0.7kg (almost 1 1/2 lbs) Sad. Stupidly I was hoping I would have stayed the same but it just proves that calorie counting works - although my TDEE must be even lower than I have calculated. So in the 6 weeks since re-starting MFP I have lost in 4 weeks but gained in 2 and am only down 2.6kg (6lbs ish) to 73kg / 11st 7lb ish. I suppose 1lb a week isn't too bad but it's slower than I would have hoped for. At this rate I will only get to a healthy BMI just before Christmas.

My knees are still aching so I am going to take the advice on here and go back to the drawing board a bit - I'll start back with just fast walking and see how it goes. Maybe I need to wait for another 5/6kg to come off before I try c25k again Sad.

Can't call out everyone after all this time, but you are all doing so fantastically well Star - caught up last night and this morning and the losses, willpower and motivation have been fabulous. Also love the new weight loss code Grin and a certain name change Wink. And Welcome newbies/rejoiners Flowers.

Bathsheba3 · 14/09/2016 11:36

Nice to have you back Dawhead. Sorry you had a bad week. But it's done, it was ONLY 0.7kg back on, and once you knuckle-down, you'll loose that again & perhaps a bit more by this time next week. You know the score yourself (we all do!)

Good idea to watch the knees. You can get just as good a workout at power walking!

I've just had my lunch - v hungry today. it was a coop prawn layered salad. I looked, checked and double checked, and it was only 90 cals / 100g. So 300g makes 270 cals. Nothing !!! It was mainly grated carrot, and green stuff, with a bit of cooked pasta on top, a few prawns and sauce. Absolutely delicious. Satisfied the taste buds, lots of crunch, full of veg, and I'm sorted.

Not2bObvious · 14/09/2016 12:07

Dawg sounds like you did very well! I only have eat around tdee on weekends to see a 3-4lb gain, I'd take 1.5 and some lovely days out for that with both hands😉 Anyway it's behind you now, life happens, enjoy & move on. Hungry now but aiming to hold off on lunch for an hour, another egg & ham sambo on my plan. The stuffed chicken and croquette potatoes for dinner. Plenty of water, maybe mini kitkat for treat. Well that's the plan anyway

Emz449 · 14/09/2016 12:22

All good in other areas too Bath thanks for asking, actively trying not to lose weight but glutton OH is doing a good job at helping out with that Grin

Quite scared of putting on weight really as the last time we lived together i put on A LOT and I'm terrified of putting it all back on again but that's a very long way off. It's just a case of getting the right mentality. He's banned the scales now he's back which makes me twitchy but think it's for the best, he wasn't very happy and scared when he first saw me. It's nice in a way to let him have a bit more control of that area of my life, it does make me feel a bit more relaxed Smile

Not2bObvious · 14/09/2016 13:28

Just go by your clothes emz, you can't go wrong with the jeans measure (more accurate than a scales imho) Glad to hear you're doing well and enjoying a loved up life😁

Sugarandsalt · 14/09/2016 14:05

Dawhead 6lbs in 6weeks is very respectable. I had a whole month over the summer of not meeting my target (but I did log calories every day)- that's life. The important thing is getting back on your bike.

Bath that salad sounds lovely.

Emz good to hear you are doing well.

I had a lovely salmon and edamame salad for lunch, and some seweed thins from itsu. 336 calories. So leaves me 150 calories for snacks as dinner is planned out. I'm having a hungry day so going to pick up some fruit on my way back to work.

coragreta · 14/09/2016 16:21

All going well today. So glad to put yesterday behind me. On track for 1181.

Not2bObvious · 14/09/2016 16:31

Well done cora & keep, that's a good calorie count. I'm aiming to stick to 1200 and so far after plugging all into mfp, I'm ontrack. Got to make a great effort between now & Friday so I can cock it all up again over the weekend

Cinderbelly · 14/09/2016 16:40

Afternoon all, good to read everyone sounding a bit more positive today Grin
Busy day here, today was the day everyone can pick the after school clubs they want their DC to attend so 3:15 was like a warzone in the school hall. Angry mums foaming at the mouth and pushing through the doors like Black Friday sales in America! Complete mob mentality I actually got pushed over! did get ushered to the front of the queue after that happened so silver lining and all that! I've got fruity couscous with salad and boiled eggs for tea Confused not sure how it will taste, but will try it. Have saved enough calls for beans on toast of its not good

Not2bObvious · 14/09/2016 17:01

Hmm, not sure about the cous cous & eggs cinder but you might be pleasantly surprised? If it's not good decide early, bin it & bring on the beans - that way you won't have wasted too many cals😉 I'm close to knawing my arm off, scoffed a few wafer thin turkey slices this afternoon but at 8 cals a slice, not much damage done. Oh hurry up chicken !!

Lolimax · 14/09/2016 17:31

It's very strange not being able to weigh every day as I'm away from home (down the caravan). I'm being good, tracking my calories and so far keeping under 1200/1300. Swimming a half hour every morning and lots of dog walking should also help. We stopped for tea today, DH had coffee and walnut cake which of course I had to try. It was so sweet and rich it actually made me feel sick (served me right!).
Only had 560 calories today (give or take 2 large spoons of cake) and out for dinner tonight so I'm hoping for some fresh grilled fish as we're on the coast with a massive salad.

SesameSparkle · 14/09/2016 18:24

dawhead - welcome back! Sounds like you only gained back one and a half guinea pigs while you’ve been away….. And I’m sure they’ll bugger off again in no time! Wink

keep welcome – you can get on top of things again and you do always get a reset button every morning. I sometimes take herbal tea to take the edge of a sweet craving – camomile and honey and liquorice and peppermint are quite good for this.

cinder Bon appetite! Halloumi is also nice with couscous, although eggs are probably better for you.

loli enjoy your dinner!

Wave to everyone else! Smile

I ate all the carbs in the work canteen today - that place is my downfall. That leaves me with just 200cals left for my tea. I will go over this.

dailyarsewipe · 14/09/2016 19:13

OK, I downloaded MFP last night, inputted all my food (thought I'd done really well but was still 34 calories over!). What has surprised me is the amount of sugar I had - I don't eat added sugar or chocolate / biscuits etc - so fruit, and smoothie put me well over my sugar target.

Today, I have 336 left, because I walked into work and back and did some yoga. Am finding it really surprising to read about the nutritional breakdown of what I eat.

My goal is to go from 63kg to 60 kg.
