Morning all, lots of junk eaten and drunk since THursday but have done 3 classes and 2 weights sessions this week so still hoping for a small loss when I weigh tomorrow. Hope everyone is okay.

BitOutOfPractice · 03/07/2016 13:18

Hello! I am excited!

Weighed in early as I will be away tomorrow (my usual weigh in day) and I lost 4.2lbs! I have no idea how it's that much though I have stuck to plan. That makes it exactly one stone gone in 6 weeks. So chuffed.

I also measured my self and I have lost 4cm off my waist and 6cm off my hips. I can't say I've noticed any difference in my clothes yet but it's all going in the right direction

StewardsEnquiry · 03/07/2016 13:46

That's amazing BOOP!! FlowersStar

A stone is a great achievement. Well done you.

I am having a rest before a busy afternoon and evening with friends. I have cooked all morning to be ready. I would usually pig out on what I have made but I plan to be really reserved. I have eaten lightly so far today so I have nearly 800 calories left to use. I'm not going to drink alcohol so I'm less likely to think 'sod it' and of course I will be saving the booze calories too. Wish me luck!

BitOutOfPractice · 03/07/2016 14:12

Thank you!

Good luck!

Booze is a big downfall. In and of itself but also because of its tendency to make me think "sod it!"

StewardsEnquiry · 04/07/2016 10:53

Another 7/8 of a pound off today! So about 6lb to go until 10st exactly which is a good start.

I seem to be in the groove now thank goodness.

shortaris1 · 05/07/2016 07:58

Well done Stewards and BOOP I had a tiny gain yesterday but only 0.4 of a pound so nothing to panic about.
Really hard fast day yesterday. I was just starving but still managed to come in bang on the 500cals. Have given myself 1200 cals for 'normal' days although my TDEE is 1466 so that I have a bit of leeway at weekends.

MustBeThin · 05/07/2016 08:33

Well done on the losses Grin Star

I am soooo bloody happy this morning Grin I'm in the bloody 10's 💪😀🤗 I haven't been in the 10's since I was a teen. Never did I think that I'd ever be able to get in the 10's when I started this in January, I didn't even think I'd lose half a stone before giving up. I am thrilled hahaha 10st 13 now. Smile

I am having chippy tea tonight as super busy today, last few times I've eaten out or had takeaway I haven't seen a gain the next day but knowing my luck I probably will now I'm 10st 13 just to take me back up to 11st. Oh well, I'll know it's not real weight I suppose.

StewardsEnquiry · 05/07/2016 09:13

MustBe - hurray!!!! FlowersStarFlowersStar

So amazing for you. Well done.

I had a little gain this morning of 0.4 lb but I'm okay with that. I had some salty food yesterday. I'm on plan for today. I have my routine for work days sorted now - porridge for breakfast, a salad for lunch with a bit of fruit, then dinner later. I don't have anywhere at work to buy more food so I can't weaken my resolve during the day, which helps.

MustBeThin · 05/07/2016 10:17

Thanks Steward I really can't believe it Grin I'm soooo happy. 10's 10's 10's 🤗 for some reason I thought I'd look slimmer than I do once I reached 10 something, it's probably because I cant remember what I looked like before at 13st 7 so I don't think I look that much slimmer when I look in the mirror although I can tell I've lost weight now and people are always mentioning it. I'm officially 2lb away from top end healthy BMI now, not sure what weight I want to be really. Think I'll just see how it goes. I'd love to be a size 10 in jeans but I haven't been that size since I was about 15-16. Not sure whether it's achievable, I'm currently a 12.

StewardsEnquiry · 05/07/2016 11:04

Totally achievable. Just keep on setting little goals and you will get there bit by bit. Anywhere in the healthy BMI will be a good goal - it just depends how you feel and look I suppose.

I like when I am BMI 20 or 21 but I am quite small boned so I don't carry extra weight very well even though I am tall.

I had forgotten about our monthly goals on this thread. I think I will aim to get to 10st3 by the end of July - that's just under 4lb to lose.

Not2bObvious · 05/07/2016 14:56

Well done must, I'm so thrilled for you! Go try on a size 10, you might surprise yourself, I have 4 pairs of size 10's and I must be an inch or 3 shorter than you as my healthy bmi is 10.5 - seriously, you might be surprised! Jeans are from m&s, oasis and hilfiger. And 2 pairs of elasticy trousers from river island. I've got so I won't buy unless it's a size 10! If I ever get to 9.11 which is my ultimate goal, I reckon I'll be an 8. Can't visualise it tbh but size 10 is heaven so I don't mind if I don't get to an 8. V proud of you, you've come a long way from
when you started

MsColouring · 06/07/2016 07:12

Today's non scale victory - I am wearing size 12 trousers! I am a pear shape so am already wearing size 10/12 tops. Didn't think I'd ever wear a size 12 of my bottom half again! And I am about half a stone away from seeing the 9s.

shortaris1 · 06/07/2016 07:55

Wow Must and Colouring* great news!

Second fast day of the week and it HAS to be easier than Monday's, right?

My BMI is sitting at 26 just now. I'm still wearing a 10 bottom/12 on top but I'm carrying it all around my belly. I'm only 5'0 with tiny hands and feet so I haven't got a lot to play with!

MustBeThin · 06/07/2016 09:35

Thank you all Grin maybe I'll go and try some 10's on when I get to 10st 7 which will be when I hit 3st loss.

Well done Colouring it's a brilliant feeling when you can get into smaller clothes Star Hope the fast day goes well Short

Well I got on the scales this morning and they are showing another 1lb loss and reading 10st 12 Hmm not quite sure why considering I had chippy tea yesterday but I'll take it. Grin feel like I'm well and truly in the 10's now though. I always feel a little suspicious when the scales show a 1lb loss two days in a row. I don't know how it happens but I always feel like the little fat fairy took it and will give it me back tomorrow. Grin For now I'll be happy that I'm 1lb away from a healthy BMI. Smile

Sallycinnamum · 06/07/2016 13:34

Wow must that's amazing!

Can I ask what your top tips are and how you kept your motivation going?

MustBeThin · 06/07/2016 14:16

Thanks Sally

I don't know really Blush I've never stuck to any sort of diet before, I think losing 6lb in the first week spurred me on to keep going. These MFP threads helped loads, I read the 3 previous threads over Christmas and seeing everyones amazing losses made me want to do this and stick with it. I signed upto this site after Christmas and started posting and find that it really helps. Smile

My biggest tip is to log everything you will be eating that day first thing in the morning including a treat and then you can see how many calories you have left to play with if you get peckish. Don't deprive yourself of stuff I eat everything I ate before I just weigh it if I'm at home, if I want cake I'll have it and just weigh and log. If I'm eating out one day I'll just have a light lunch like soup to balance out the meal. If you think about it 1 meal out isn't likely to make you gain a whole 1lb. You'd have to eat a lot of calories to do that, the weight you gain from eating out or having a takeaway is more than likely bloat and will be gone 1-2 days later.

MsColouring · 06/07/2016 22:50

Lol! My last post should say I'm less than half a pound away from being in the 9s not half a stone!

MustBeThin · 07/07/2016 09:40

Still 10st 12 today 💪

Mothersruin75 · 08/07/2016 13:05

Must fantastic news you are in the 10s 🎉🎉. You are my inspiration!

I've been having a bad few weeks with busy at work, visiting family, birthdays and then big birthday party for my DCs last weekend so having time to cook and also to eat well with so much cake/ wine/ gin on offer has gone out of the window. It showed on the scales and I've put 2lbs on. I'm back on it though and have been eating Hairy Dieters all week, chicken jalfrezi for tea tonight.

We're on holiday at the end of the month I'd really like to join Must in the 10's by that point. I'm hoping a small goal keeps my focus!

Have lovely weekends all.

Mothersruin75 · 08/07/2016 13:06

MsColouring - wow hope you see the 9's this week!

Emz449 · 08/07/2016 23:24

Well done for all the losses, you all sound like you're doing so well, must be feeling great! Star

Thank you also for your kind words Flowers

Meant to say I've moved into my new place and loving it! It's nice to be living somewhere more central. Boyfriend will be home next month too which is very exciting, can't wait to see him!

I have my first session next week which is slightly daunting but it'll also be good to start getting a grip on things before the OH comes home. I haven't told him about what's been happening recently as I don't want to worry him while he's abroad. Ideally I would like to gain a few a lot of pounds before he's back so it's not such a shock for him

shortaris1 · 10/07/2016 19:52

At least you're on the case with it all Emz and not letting it continue.

I had the worst day at work EVER on Friday (think tears and snotters to big boss) so obviously ate crap after that and had afternoon tea then takeaway and booze yesterday and full breakfast today so not expecting much this week. God it's hard when you have a social life isn't it? 6 weeks til my holiday tomorrow though so need to get on with it. I could do with losing at least 4 pounds.

MustBeThin · 10/07/2016 20:14

Thanks Mothersruin

Good to hear from you Emz congrats and the new place. Bet you can't wait to see your BF.

For the last few days I keep weighing at 10st 12 and 10st 13 Angry Don't know what's up with me, keep having a bloated day then it goes and then it's back again. Keep drinking plenty but doesn't seem to be helping much. Resisted buying Häagen Dazs Salted Caramel ice cream the other day. It's on offer in Asda, a fifth of the tub is close to 300cals and I have to eat at least a third in one sitting. Grin

shortaris1 · 11/07/2016 19:28

I can't keep ice cream in Must or I'd end up on a Channel 5 documentary Grin
Slight gain today again. I'm so hacked off at myself. I feel like I've been dieting most of this year and am still half a stone too bloody heavy. I love food and cooking and now in my head it's just reduced to how many calories things have. I have 6 weeks til hols and I'm not taking this belly with me. ENOUGH!
