Easter hols are over and I'm back on the wagon. 1lb up but I'm feeling determined that that and more will be off this week.
Welcome to those that have joined recently.

MsColouring · 11/04/2016 22:32

Back to work (teacher) and today has given me a few challenges. Didn't get up early enough to make my fruity porridge for breakfast and ended up choosing the kids' sugary cereal.
Had a bring a plate lunch at work for the inset day and lots of temptation. Managed to avoid all the cheese, crisps and cake and tried to fill my plate with mostly salad but the quiche had more calories than I thought. Dh made tea and that had more than the expected calories too. Came in at 1400 - could have been worse. Managed a run as well so my net calories still worked out at around 1200.

PandaBear30 · 12/04/2016 09:49

Despite my 1lb gain (which WILL be gone soon) over the easter hols, people are starting to notice my weight loss. Great feeling and motivation boost.
So far today I've had porridge and a banana. Plan on having soup for lunch and not sure about dinner yet, have salad that needs using up so might do some chicken 18 days left of this month, I had hoped to lose 10 lbs in April but that's not really going to happen now so my aim is 7lbs. Anyone else got an April goal?

Emz449 · 12/04/2016 10:13

Another pound down this morning so I'm back at my lowest weight now. But I think I might aim to go a bit lower. Perhaps mid 8 stone or something like that. It would make my bmi a bit lower and for me to have a bit more wiggle room.

B - weetabix and banana
L - cuppa soup, yogurt
D - chicken and green beans
S - fruit and time out bar

Emz you've done amazingly well to lose the weight you've lost. Wasn't your starting weight around 14st? You must look and feel great.
I've had a pretty good day, coming in at just under 1300.

Emz449 · 12/04/2016 21:33

it was 14 stone 10 Panda, feels like a life time ago now, can't believe it!

Went spinning this evening and was absolutely knackered afterwards, very tough session! worth it though Smile

Tomorrow should be ok food wise. I have a lunch meeting with sandwiches etc but the rest of the day should be ok. I came in at 1000 calories today so I can have slightly more without feeling bad

B - weetabix and banana
L - sandwiches of some sort!
D - chicken and green beans
S - timeout bar and apples
E - badminton during the day and then spinning in the evening

Welcome newbies. Well I woke up 2lb down on Sunday but yesterday and today I've shown 1lb up. I've not eaten over my calories but it is my TOM so that's probably the cause. So I was 12st for 11 days and then I dropped 2lb to 11st 12 but at the min I'm weighing in at 11st 13. Can't believe I'm in the 11's Grin

Not2bObvious · 12/04/2016 21:55

Well done must, at last the lovely 11's, fair play for persevering through ups/downs.
Emz you did say a while ago you didn't want to slip to too low a weight or get too obsessed by the numbers. V sorry for bringing it up - pure concern here, you're really good at losing weight - and you're under your original goal (iirc) - are you sure you need to do this?

MsColouring · 12/04/2016 22:54

B- porridge with raisins and apple
L - soup and crispbreads
D - pasta with veg in sauce
S - Apple

Came in at 1200 calories

Wore a belt with a dress today that felt looser than last time I wore it!

MustBeThin · 13/04/2016 08:58

Thanks Not2b I'm right proud of myself Grin couldn't have imagined that I'd ever reach the 11's when I started this up in January. I just keep thinking that the next Stone bracket is where I could reach the top end of a Healthy BMI. Smile I'm just over halfway there from where I started in January.

Back to 11st 12 today too, chances are I will be having a small portion of takeaway tomorrow as I'm out all day and getting a new fridge freezer delivered Friday morning so will have eaten everything out of my old one.

I've still not had one can of coke at all this year either Shock

MustBeThin · 13/04/2016 08:59

It's brilliant feeling when clothes start feeling loose isn't it Ms Grin Well done Star

Emz449 · 13/04/2016 09:36

God Mustbe, I have a can of Diet Coke a day! Can't imagine going without it. Well done for getting into the 11's, you're doing so well.

Thanks for your concern Not2 Flowers I understand what you're saying but there are some parts of the body that I'm not happy with yet, my arms and stomach! It might actually change with exercise so I'm going to keep that up and see how I get on

I was also thinking of buying a Fitbit blaze, does anyone have one??

OP posts:
PandaBear30 · 13/04/2016 09:53

So pleased for you Must after all the stalling you've stuck with it and it's paying off. Can't wait until I'm in the 11's.
That's great MsColouring such a great feeling when things are getting looser. Makes it all worthwhile.
Had a busy morning today so couldn't make my usual porridge do my breakfast on the go has been a small banana and 2 finger kit kat, not too bad calorie wise just hope eating chocolate this early doesn't make me crave it all day...!

PandaBear30 · 13/04/2016 17:15

So Emz is that almost 5 and a half stone off in total? Truly amazing. Definitely exercise will help with toning up the bits you're not happy with and with keeping any gains at bay but go easy on yourself you must look great.

Happy to report I've not craved chocolate all day after my early morning fix. Looking like I'll come in around 1200 today because I WILL (pma) stick to my food plan for the rest of the day.
Hope you're all having good days.

Mothersruin75 · 13/04/2016 20:09

Emz that is an amazing loss and an inspiration.

Panda glad you've not craved chocolate, hope this evening goes well for you!

I'm weighing in once a week and today was the day. I was pretty excited this morning as apart from Saturday night (which even that wasn't too bad) I've stuck to it & counted. I'd lost a pound, which I was disappointed at as I thought the first few weeks I might lose a bit quicker. I'd set mfp to losing a pound a week but have changed it this week to 2lb so will see if this helps. At least a loss is a loss and I haven't put on.

Emz449 · 13/04/2016 20:49

Yeah 5 and a half stone gone, never to return!! I have briefed my boyfriend that when we move in together again we're going to be a lot healthier. I really don't want to go back to that weight.

So lunch today was ok, had a chicken sandwich and some crisps, estimated at about 600 calories just in case. Also had some custard creams and bourbons too but they were all within my calories allowance!

Burnt about 1000 calories with exercise too today, badminton was knackering and so was spinning but good workouts so happy with that! There was no loss this morning and there might not be tomorrow because of the extra carbs at lunch but never mind!

Tomorrows food will be
B - Weetabix and banana
L - Cuppa soup and yogurt
D - Garlic chicken and green beans
S - fruit and timeout bar
E - spinning class and maybe boxercise, depending on how hungry i feel after spinning!

OP posts:
MsColouring · 13/04/2016 22:00

B - porridge with fruit.
L - bean chilli and quinoa
T - veg curry and rice

No snacks or exercise.

Emz - that's amazing weight loss. Well done!

Emz449 · 14/04/2016 10:39

Thank you ☺️

No loss this morning, expected and also TOTM

Hope you all have a good day

Morning ladies apologies for being awol!! It's been a bad few weeks we family crap, birthday, holidays blah blah blah. Anyway I've been back to logging this week, I've been over my cals a few days but nothing major. Thankfully when I weighed on Tuesday I'd managed to stay the same, so after 3 weeks of messing around I was grateful of that, I have kept up my exercise though so that's probably why I haven't gained!
This always seems to happen to me, I get to half a stone to goal and start to give up, I've had a word with myself this morning and hope to get back into the mindset again!!!
Must I have been watching your posts, you have so much determination, I wish I could have half of what you have, well done!! X

Emz449 · 15/04/2016 13:42

Hi thankful, nice to see you!

B - weetabix and banana
L - chicken salad from subway
D - chicken and green beans
S - fruit, yogurt and some Oreo chocolate
E - gym before work and spinning after work

MustBeThin · 15/04/2016 15:31

Awwww thanks Thankful 😙 good to hear from you. Well done on maintaining. Star

Scales juggled between 11st 11 and 11st 12 before landing on 11st 12 so still the same. Will be gaining tomorrow though, having chippy for tea, my second chippy of the year. Was going to have chippy yesterday but I had mince left so made spag bol. New fridge arrived today and my old one recycled so no food in. Only had toast, tea and a jaffa cake so far today, been super busy and only just sat down.

MustBeThin · 15/04/2016 18:41

Had my chippy and I didn't even enjoy it Hmm it just felt like I was eating greasy stodge. Maybe it's because I'm not used to eating anything greasy now? Funny because I never felt this way before, I wouldn't have been such a fatty if I had. Grin totally wasn't worth the gain I'll probably see on the scales tomorrow.

PandaBear30 · 15/04/2016 18:50

Having a hungry day today so had more snacks than usual. Think I'll probably total 1500 for the day. Not worried too much will even it out at some stage.
Must hope you enjoy your chippy tea, life's too short not to have the occasional take away.
Emz hats off to you on all the exercise. The only exercise I get is running round after my DC. Once I get to goal I'd like to join a class to help me maintain. Any other ladies on here doing lots/any exercise?
Thankful well done on staying the same and good luck on getting to goal, it's so so close.

SitsOnFence · 15/04/2016 20:46

Well this probably sounds a bit pathetic next to all the amazing losses on here, but I've lost another lb in the past 4 days and am now over half way to my short term (May half term holiday) goal.

Best of all, I have just started to notice a real difference in how my clothes fit Smile

Emz449 · 15/04/2016 20:57

Well done Sits, that's brilliant Smile

Ah really Must? That's such a shame you didn't enjoy it.

I am absolutely shattered this evening! Burnt roughly 1200 calories through exercise today and i'm feeling it. I'm really enjoying the exercise Panda, i'm making the most of my free time as my boyfriend will be home in 4 months! He's very demanding on my time Grin
