Good morning everyone I shifted the last pound that has been stubbornly there for 2 weeks and hit my holiday goal weight of 10st 7lb today. I'm so happy, I can't wait to get in my bikini now (and ruin it with all the holiday eating).

I celebrated with a bacon roll, bacon is the taste of success!!

Mothersruin75 some good low cal snacks if you get the urge are popcorn, a whole cereal bowl full is about 25g and around 100 cals, babybel cheese the light one is only 50 cals and milky bar chocolate, a small 75g bar is something like 69 calories. Muller Light chocolate fix layers deserts are good too to take the edge off.
I'm lucky in that I don't really have goodies in my house (my kids are at uni) but I understand the struggle.

MustBeThin · 07/04/2016 09:56

Wooooo well done Peas and Emz 🤗Star

Welcome Mothers

Still bloody 12st it's been 8 days now I've been stuck. Realised earlier that this happened when I got to 12st 7 and my 1 stone loss. I desperately wanted to get to 12st 6 to break past the 1st barrier so that a bloat gain didn't put me back to under a 1st loss. I stayed the same weight for 16 days. Now I'm at exactly 1 and a half stone loss and desperate to get into the 11s and I'm stuck again. Envy

peasareevilcreatures · 07/04/2016 10:45

MustBe have you recalculated your calorie allowance since the latest weight loss?
I get a much lower calorie goal now to where I was when I started out, as I'm smaller now I take less calories to run.

MustBeThin · 07/04/2016 11:16

No Peas just kept it at 1250 Cals but I never eat all those calories. On average I probably eat between 1000-1150 most days unless I have lunch out where I'll eat more.

LollipopViolet · 07/04/2016 18:24

About 500 calories over today - treated myself to a pizza hut but breakfast and dinner are all good.

Also went to the gym twice - one class then did a bit more after lunch to try and reduce the damage :)

Mothersruin75 · 07/04/2016 20:11

Thanks for the welcomes and advice.

Mustbe hope 11 is just a day or two away!

I've done ok today. I've started doing poached egg on toast for breakfast, it keeps me going till lunch & I like it far, far more than porridge. My raid when I got home was 3 oatcakes was feeling all smug, then the chocolate orange called out to me. I had 2 segments but have confessed all to mfp.

I have a new job, there's a gym onsite - tomorrow's task is to sign up, next week's is to go!

Bathsheba3 · 07/04/2016 20:15

How very frustrating Must. Thought today would be the day.

Well done Emz - although you don't have much to loose any more?!

I've just been flicking though the pile of summer clothes catalogues that have arrived this week. hmmm.... oh to be lean and toned this summer. I've put them all in the recycle bin. Hoping when the next lot arrive I will be down a dress size ...

KITCHEN IS CLOSED THIS EVENING

Emz449 · 07/04/2016 21:54

Thanks all Grin

I don't bath but I had put on a few pounds with Easter and a load of chocolate so wanted to get down to my lowest weight 9 stone 5, I only have 2 more pounds to go Grin

Went spinning this evening and it was knackering! Was sweating loads, I did some kettle bells afterwards too. What with that and badminton at lunch, I'm pretty shattered! Food has been ok but two small cupcakes happened as it was a colleagues leaving do, they worked with my calorie allowance though so not going to beat myself up about it!

I also made these for my colleagues tomorrow. Jalapeños poppers, a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and then wrapped in bacon - amazing. Zero carbs!

I've been struggling to stay on track this week. So much harder when the kids are around. They're back to school and nursery on Monday so hoping I'll get my focus back.
Well done to those that have lost and those that haven't but are sticking with it and welcome to those that have joined on the last few days.

LollipopViolet · 08/04/2016 19:18

Well, I've had a much better day today, lots of calories left over :) Looking forward to the gym on Sunday (my friend, the bride-to-be whose wedding is my main motivation) is coming with me and we're going to support each other :)

Off to finish my MFP log for the day :)

Emz449 · 08/04/2016 20:25

Stayed the same this morning but good day, went out for lunch and had a salad, it was really crap though, wish I had just had my packed lunch instead ha.

B - Weetabix and banana
L - chicken and bacon salad
D - Chicken in bbq sauce and broccoli mixed with cream cheese
S - LOTS of jalapeños! Chocolate bar
E - half an hour treadmill and killer spin class

Mothersruin75 · 08/04/2016 22:53

I didn't join the gym - on the list for Monday now!! I did walk into the town centre and back at lunchtime which is 7,000 steps in itself according to mfp. I haven't tracked the amount of times I've been up and down the stairs tonight. We've just moved our DTs into beds and they've turned into wild animals at bedtime, it's chaotic and tiring but I must be burning calories.

Food wise I've done ok at meal times, it was wotsits and chocolate orange when I got home - oops. I've just drunk sparkling water tonight, no wine or gin. We have friends coming over tomorrow so I will try to eat and drink as sensibly as possible but enjoy myself too.

MsColouring · 09/04/2016 09:50

Had a week of being off the wagon. Last weekend was my parents golden wedding anniversary and involved lots of eating and have been away with dh in Munich this week so lots of eating out. I have tried to make slightly healthier choices and have walked lots but intend to get back on it properly from today.

Emz449 · 09/04/2016 22:28

1lb down this morning Smile
B - two slices of toast, eggs and bacon
L - bbq chicken breast, yogurt and apple
D - chilli with broccoli and green beans

MustBeThin · 10/04/2016 08:53

Hello everyone! Just checking in, thought I'd stay away for a few days so you didn't have to read my rants. Grin

Anyway got on the scales today and I've lost 2lb overnight 🤗 I am thrilled. No movement for 11 days then 2lb gone. I kept getting on and off the scales because I didn't believe it.

Emz449 · 10/04/2016 10:47

Well done must!! Flowers

Weighed in today - 2lb off :) I thought it'd be more, but the few bad days must've slowed me down haha. I'm very happy with that though.

Met my friend at the gym, after an insane GRIT class and an HOUR of spin (because the instructor didn't have anywhere to be after class Grin) Did about 2 hours 15 in the gym total, that should see me through till next weekend :)

Emz449 · 10/04/2016 19:51

B - toast, eggs and bacon
L - ham and cheese omelette, yogurt and apple
D - chicken and veg
S - too much chocolate!
E - an hour in the gym and spin class

whoopsididit · 10/04/2016 19:53

Hey can I join you?

How many calories are people sticking to? I'm starving on the MFP 1200! X

MsColouring · 10/04/2016 21:47

Breakfast - boiled egg
lunch - crackerbread, slice of cheese, quinoa, salad
tea - bean chilli and rice
snacks ' rice cakes, satsuma

Whoops - I am on 1200 calories and hungry some of the time. Trying to eat slower so I feel full sooner.

Enough calories left to have a choc from my Easter egg.
Got round to picking up new scales today and weigh 11lb 11 so got a stone and half to lose to get back to a healthy weight.

JontyDoggle37 · 11/04/2016 08:45

Morning all - back on the wagon, life took over and I've ended up a shocking 7lbs above goal weight. Angry anyway, it's just the way it went. Have started the day with a mushroom omelette, will get the rest planned in a minute. Have a good one everybody!

SitsOnFence · 11/04/2016 10:32

Thank you to everyone who posts on this thread. I've been lurking and gathering inspiration from it for the past 2 weeks! I thought it was about time I de-lurked and said hello.

I started MFP nearly 3 weeks ago weighing 10st 10.2lbs and am now 10st 3.6lbs, although I think at least 3lbs of that was just water weight.

My short-term goal is to lose 1 stone by May half term (28th May) and my long term goal is to look good in my old clothes again! From memory, I think that will equate to a final weight of around 8st 10lbs.

This is my first ever diet and after 4 or 5 really very tough days, I seem to have hit some sort of glorious honeymoon stage, where I am rarely all that hungry. However, I'm aware that the inevitable fall from the wagon must be looming somewhere ahead!

Sleepingonthebus · 11/04/2016 10:41

Hello. First time posting on here. I've been using MFP since December and a type 2 diabetes diagnosis. Was 15st 6 and now 13st 8 on 1200 calories a day. I'm pretty good at sticking to it. I don't have a sweet tooth at all but I do (did) love my carbs.

Blood sugar numbers are way down from December and I'm a comfy size 16, down from a 20. My initial goal was to get into the 12st bracket but now I'm thinking I'd like to go further if I can.

Emz449 · 11/04/2016 17:27

Welcome new posters!

B - weetabix and banana
L - cuppa soup and yogurt, malteasers
D - chicken and veg
S - fruit

Rest day from exercise today, going to chill out and watch greys anatomy!
