Much better day for me. Have put the weekends blip behind me and focusing on meeting my April goal of losing 10lbs.

PandaBear30 · 04/04/2016 22:30

Well done Not2b on your loss and finding a way of losing it that works for you. Great feeling when you start to see the results of all your hard work.
Bath sounds like you're in the zone after your holiday.
Must try increasing your water like Not's suggested, definitely worth a try. It must be so frustrating. I take my hat of to you for sticking with it through all the annoying gains.

MustBeThin · 05/04/2016 08:01

Good to hear from you Bath hope you had a good holiday. Not2b you've lost loads you are doing so well. Grin

Well yesterday I had 3 cups of tea and 3 big bottles of water water (think water equals around 2ltrs) answer today the scales were showing 11st 13 in some places and on 12st in othera. Grin so the 2lb bloat is gone and hopefully fingers crossed I'll soon be at a proper 11st 13. Wooooo 11's 😀😀😀

peasareevilcreatures · 05/04/2016 09:29

I haven't been on for a while but I'm still MFP-ing. Having trouble losing the last pound for my holiday goal so I'm going to have quite an aggressive week. I just want it to nudge down to 10.7 before I go and then I'll be happy.

I'm with Bath that I'm not going to weigh in for at least a week after I get back as I'm expecting to put on while on holiday (too much lovely food where I'm going although mostly it's really healthy)
I'm going to continue to log as best I can while I'm away and also wear my fitbit as I think I'll get lots of steps in (when I'm not sunbathing!)

Then it'll be back on MFP when I get back with a new final goal of 9.10 which I hope to achieve before my birthday in July. That'll put me at a BMI of around 22 and then the hard work starts at keeping it off (I find I'm quite single minded and good at dieting but useless at maintenance).

Emz449 · 05/04/2016 09:53

Morning all!

Thanks Not2, you're doing so well!

Just had a yogurt granola thing for 280 calories, instead of the sandwiches I've bought a lettuce bag and some chicken to stay on track, there are chocolates here though so I might have a few of them!

B - yogurt with granola
L - chicken and salad
D - chilli with veg
S - chocolate!

Thanks for positive vibes from everyone! 11s Must Star. And inspired by Panda and Not2b's will power and losses.

B-Mango, L-Chicken & Salad, D-not yet decided, but will involve loads of veggies. Maybe a bit of fish, or prawn stir fry.

Just done hour's power walk / jog with the dog. Gorgeous day.

Not2bObvious · 05/04/2016 21:03

Oh must I'm visualising you (not in a pervy way I promise) in the nip (all bits blurred of course!) moving the scales here/there, hopping on/off
Now madam I told you to drink more & it worked, now keep doing it! And find a spot where you weigh 11.13, put an X on it and name it your sweet spot! From the woman who brought 2 scales to the bathroom twice a day for 3 months....oh what a loolahBlush

Not2bObvious · 05/04/2016 21:05

Oops, forgot to say totally thrilled for you! I remember you getting from 13 to 12 and now to 11, so proud...sniffle...😘

Bathsheba3 · 05/04/2016 21:19

ha ha ha !!! Totally amazing

I AM going to be back in the 11's soon too. I want to - I am GOING to be a size 12 again this summer.

50 cals over today, 1250. Am drawing strength from you lovely ladies esp as I don't get any support at home

LollipopViolet · 05/04/2016 21:35

I'm back on MFP after a looooong break. Currently 13 stone 1, but have had a good week food-wise and been to the gym several times. I really want to weigh tomorrow but I only did it on Sunday (I'm using the scales in my local Tesco as they're in the same place and are electronic and do BMI etc. All for 50p!).

I should resist until Sunday, shouldn't I?

MustBeThin · 05/04/2016 21:37

Ahhh thank you Grin I'm super happy, can't wait until I'm a proper 11st 13 maybe tomorrow, fingers crossed. I will have had the same amount of water/tea before going to bed tonight and I've had toast for breakfast, soup for lunch, fish and veg for tea and I'm just about to weigh out my portion of easter chocolate.

I can't believe I'm almost in the 11's Shock I never thought I'd get out of the 13's and I still have no real ultimate goal weight. I'm just happy to be losing weight and once I'm properly in the 11's my next mini goal will be to get to 11st 7 which will be a 2 stone loss for me. 😊

As for moving the scales I make sure I slide them around with my foot, don't want to be leaning over with the boobs dangling 🙈

MustBeThin · 05/04/2016 21:44

You can do this Bath 💪11's

Welcome Lolli I'm a daily weigher so I wouldn't be able to resist Grin it keeps me focused.

LollipopViolet · 05/04/2016 22:08

MFP moaned at me today - I only ate 960 calories and I'm supposed to eat 1200. I'd earned some exercise calories as well, and didn't manage to eat the 1500 total calories. It wouldn't give me a 5 week prediction, or post on my feed, and told me I wasn't eating enough. That's new since I last used it.

MustBeThin · 05/04/2016 22:28

Lolli I just quick add the extra calories. To make it up to 1000, it moans if you eat less than that. Smile

Bathsheba3 · 06/04/2016 08:42

Hurray me. 2 days of 1200 and no sugar, and I'm back in the 11's. Scales did say 12 st, but another tiny wee and they said 11 13 3/4 twice, so I'll take that!

So my goal to shift 20 lbs is now down to 18 lbs. First mini-goal is to get to 11 stone 8 (which is what I had got down to last October).

I'm actually feeling hungry this morning, and tummy growling, but am feeling strong. My face has lost the puffy-look, but I am SO thirsty.

Go us today!

Bathsheba3 · 06/04/2016 08:45

And Hurray to all of you lot too, and your wonderful support and encouragement. Am sure you'll be properly in the 11s today Must. And you'll be in the 12s before you know it Lolli.

StewardsEnquiry · 06/04/2016 09:19

Hi everyone. I haven't been around for ages, sorry. I have been bouncing around between 10st 2 and 9st 12 so not too bad at all but ideally I would like to stay under 9st 12 all the time.

I am doing well at weighing every day but I'm not tracking calories at all. All my time on mfp has really educated me about the right amount of food to eat though. I understand that I was overeating all the time before and how much I need to eat to stay at this weight now.

I've been a bit tired lately so no exercise as such.

Well done everyone - so much good work happening on this thread. Koko

MustBeThin · 06/04/2016 09:46

Wooooo Bath well done Star

Good to hear from you again Steward well done on maintaining.

I'm still bloody 12st this morning. What's a girl got to do?! Had around 1000-1100 calories for the last 4 days had loads of water for the last 2 days but all I've done for the last week is gain 2lb of bloat twice and dropped back to 12st. Hmm I just want to be in the 11s

Bathsheba3 · 06/04/2016 09:54

How frustrating Must - feel your pain and disappointment. You are doing everything to get in the 11s, just the scales aren't playing game. I don't know what to suggest beyond what you are doing other than a couple of strong coffees or senna to give you a whoosh. But DO stick with it.

Wave to Stewards - amazing maintenance, and resistance to reverting back to old ways. I am still amazed at how little 1200 cals is, compared to my piggy portions.

Emz449 · 06/04/2016 10:37

Well done Bath, happy for you!

I didn't weigh myself this morning so nothing to report there!

B - Weetabix and banana L - Chilli D - Cajun spiced chicken breast and veg S - Yogurt, fruit and chocolate bar

Not sure about exercise today, I haven't got any classes booked in and I have my first smear test later (wah) I might go to the gym after that and just do some of the machines to have something down!

OP posts:
LollipopViolet · 06/04/2016 14:02

I managed to resist weighing myself :)

B: Crunchy Nut and milk
L: Tuna in spring water, and an assortment of salad.
D: Will be a roast beef dinner, lots of veggies and Yorkshire pudding (no roast potatoes though - they completely scupper my weight loss I've found...)
Snacks: an apple, a cup of coffee and a protein cookie after the gym.

Exercise: 45 minutes of Spin and 40 minutes Yoga.

Emz449 · 06/04/2016 19:49

Ended up not going to the gym, couldn't really be bothered as i have just got home. Tomorrow there will be more exercise though Smile

Tomorrows food
B - Weetabix and banana
L - Chilli con carne
D - Bbq chicken breast with broccoli and green beans
S - Yogurt and an apple
E - Badminton at lunch and then spinning after work, might do some running too

Mothersruin75 · 06/04/2016 22:56

Can I join you guys? Got on our scales this morning and weighed in at a whopping 13 stone. The figure has been flashing in front of my eyes all day. Someone gave up their seat for me on the commuter train last week because they thought I was pregnant (most definitely not pregnant). MFP is on my phone and I'm ready to do this. It would be great to have your support.

My danger time is when I get in from work, I raid the cupboards (this week it's been the DCs Easter choc). Any tips for what I can do to stop this?

Bathsheba3 · 07/04/2016 08:40

Welcome Gin. First step taken in the right direction. Stick with MFP & here, and you an do it. No advice on raiding the kitchen I'm afraid (that is my downfall too). Except having snacks ready to hand that you can munch and get the crunch factor, without the calories e.g. carrot batons.

Wish I listened to my own advice though - was doing so well yesterday, v low calorie day, and blew rest of calorie allowance (and 200 more) on crisps. Duh. Better day today

Emz449 · 07/04/2016 09:00

1lb down this morning, very happy.

Hope everyone has a good day Smile
