Very quiet on here at the moment. Hope you're all OK. Welcome sassy and welcome back alec.
Weighed myself yesterday morning wasn't brave enough on Monday and I've lost another 3lbs, now down to 12st 7lbs Smile.

PandaBear30 · 30/03/2016 04:25

Alec yes if you are staying within your cals on MFP and you are doing exercise you should definitely lose weight.

MustBeThin · 30/03/2016 08:09

Good to hear from you Alec you will deffo lose weight that way, I'm not really doing any exercise, just sticking to my calories and I'm losing.

Well done on the loss Panda

I went out for lunch yesterday and had steak 😍 got on the scales today and I've lost another 1lb and I weigh exactly 12st now so 1 and a half stone loss since 4th January. 🤗 desperate for the 11s now.

Emz449 · 30/03/2016 09:13

slides back in

Hello everyone, I'm going to start posting here again more regularly, I have had the most awful two weeks and I feel bloated and disgusting. My eating has been ridiculous! Topped off with a weekend back home with my family where saying no to food isn't an option. I want to lose half a stone to get to my lowest weight. My stomach feels horrible!

Todays food
B - Weetabix and banana
L - Chicken salad with coleslaw and sweetcorn
D - Buffalo chicken casserole with veg
S - Yogurt

I've also joined the gym! I have my induction tonight, quite looking forward to that and playing badminton at lunch.

PandaBear30 · 30/03/2016 18:48

Must well done on another lb off. 11's are so so close now, great incentive to keep at it.
Emz your weight loss has been amazing. I'm sure you'll shift whatever you've gained and with increased exercise it'll be off in no time.
I've had such a bad day food wise, succumbed to the ridiculous amount of chocolate DC were given at Easter. I'm not eating another thing today. Going to go to bed early and hope I wake up with renewed focus!

Emz449 · 30/03/2016 20:59

Thanks Panda! Badminton at lunch was great was a really good workout. Had my induction at the gym afterwards so all ready to go with that now. Going spinning tomorrow after work hopefully, I'm visiting a practice so hoping to be back by 6!

ThisIsme2 · 31/03/2016 02:09

I'm still struggling, still not feeling one hundred percent and have been eating lots of junk. I need to get a grip! I'm visiting family this weekend, so probably won't be very sensible either, but from Tuesday when I get back I'll try harder.

MustBeThin · 31/03/2016 19:27

Nice to hear formore you Emz most of that weight will be bloat I'm sure, once you get back on the wagon it'll shift quick.

Hope you are having a better day Panda and This sometimes it's hard to resist the junk food. I still allow myself something naughty every day, usually jaffa cakes or a thin slice of ginger cake. This week I've been weighing out my Easter Chocolate. As long as it's weighed and accounted for its OK to have treats. 😊

Emz449 · 31/03/2016 20:06

Thanks Mustbe!

Just been to the gym and had a spinning class! Hard work but loved it

B- poached eggs on 2 slices of toast
L- chicken salad
D- peri peri chicken and veg
S- yogurt and chocolate bar

OP posts:
Emz449 · 31/03/2016 21:16

Meant to say I was 2lbs down this morning Grin

I hope you don't mind me posting food! Feel that it keeps me on track along with MFP.

Tomorrow will be -
B - weetabix and banana
L - Chicken salad
D - my muscle food order should arrive so I might have steak and vegetables
S - yogurt and small chocolate bar

Exercise will be half an hour on the treadmill and 15 mins on cross trainer, spin class and maybe a swim depending on how I feel!

I had a much better day yesterday coming in around 1300. Need today to be good too. Going to weigh myself when I get up as it's the 1st of the month and I want to get an accurate reading so I can set my goal for April.
Emz your focus is definitely back. I think exercise is key when you hit goal and are trying to maintain. At the moment my only exercise is walking but as I near my goal I'd like to get back in to running or take a few classes.
Must well done on weighing out your easter egg. Definitely the right way to do it. All along I've been allowing myself small portions of the things I like. It just got a bit out of hand on Wednesday Blush
This hope you manage to reign in the eating. Easier said than done I know.

MsColouring · 01/04/2016 09:14

Hi. Can I join you? Had some success using MFP a while ago and then sort of fell off the wagon and struggled to get back on. Then all hit me a couple of weeks ago when I needed to wear tracksuit bottoms for work (primary school teacher) and they were really tight. Decided to cut down on bread, cheese and treats initially then decided to use MFP to help me balance it all out. Been trying to get back into running, also had days out with the kids overt he last 3 days which have involved lots of walking. I really struggle with exercise during term time though as I struggle to find time for it when I'm working. I also have a habit of snacking whilst I work in the evenings which I am trying to break. I need new scales so I can track what I am losing.

Emz449 · 01/04/2016 11:32

Another 2lbs down this morning which is great!

A Krispy Kreme has fallen into my mouth but exercise is coming in at about 900 calories thanks to walking, spinning and badminton so don't feel too bad. Calories are still about 1400

OP posts:
PandaBear30 · 02/04/2016 00:39

Total loss for March = 12 lbs
Goal for April = 10lbs, anyone else fancy joining me in setting monthly goals?
April not off to the best start, had lunch with friends which involved a couple of slices of pizza and about 4 bits of garlic bread. Also had some easter Egg but had a really early night (only awake now as baby not sleeping well) and no dinner so hope that balances things out a bit more.
Welcome MsColouring.
Well done on getting another 2lb off Emz i'm sure the Krispy Kreme that fell into your mouth (Grin) won't have a chance to do any damage with all the exercise you're doing.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

Emz449 · 02/04/2016 12:29

12 is great for March Panda, well done Flowers

Stayed the same today, off to the gym shortly and then for a swim hopefully, depending on how busy it is!

D - hache steak with Philadelphia sauce and broccoli and green beans
S - chocolate bar and yogurt

Need to do a food shop after the gym, have to get some veg to make chilli con carne for lunches next week. Hope you all have a good day!

Emz you're doing really well, please send me some of your focus I seem to have lost mine. Feeling horrible. Eaten way too much this weekend. Back on it tomorrow.
Very quiet on here. Hope everyone's doing OK.

CrazyandIknowit · 03/04/2016 21:24

Hello, is it ok if I join you?

I lost nearly 4 stone with slimming world a few years ago and then I just ended up gaining and losing the same 7 pounds as I got near target. I now have 1 stone to go. I've completely lost my way with any kind of healthy eating so I'm hoping MFP can help with that.

I am so lazy I don't excersise at all so I'm hoping to do the C25K. It scares me though Grin

MustBeThin · 04/04/2016 08:11

Hi all! Welcome newbies.

Pretty annoyed with my irritating weight fluctuations. So since Thursday or Friday I've gone up 2lb back down then up 2lb again today and I gained and lost 2lb once the week before too. Sad I don't know what's going off, I'd only gained 2lb overnight once since January and now it's happened 3 times in less than 2 weeks. It's going to slow my weigh loss down. I have been staying within my calories so it's not that, I've spent 2 days painting the house so that must have burnt some calories too. I'm hoping I just need to up my water intake because I have been drinking a little less than I probably should be.

Very frustrating.

Emz449 · 04/04/2016 13:57

Afternoon all!

So so day today, didn't lose this morning but never mind. My shape is changing with exercise which is good, stomach is definitely flatter ☺️

Food wise isn't the best

B - weetabix and banana
L - out with work so lamb kofta wrap and chips (yum)
D - not too sure! Heading to my colleagues for dinner so whatever she makes, should be fairly healthy though

Tomorrow I'm away with work so will probably be sandwiches at lunch or something! I'm doing a couple of exercise classes thiugh so should regain the balance of the food I'll eat!

Hello everyone! Back from a week's holiday. I won't weigh until I feel it is safe to do so Wink but I know that there is no other way to shift the weight unless I put the effort in, so effort in I shall put. I will start by avoiding sugar and refined carbs where I can, as well as inputting everything into MFP.

My food for the day (copying Emz!) is:
B- Mango
L - Veg soup & slice granary bread (carbs, tut tut, but no butter ...)
D - Chicken goujons with salad, no carbs
S - apple, and small cube cheese

I reckon I still have 18-20 lbs to loose, to get me down to 10st 10lbs. Shit. That's a lot. 2lbs a week, will take 10 weeks minimum. Here goes ...

Emz449 · 04/04/2016 18:34

You can do it Bath! I'm going to be posting my menu daily, makes me accountable.

Dinner is pasta with garlic bed and chocolate cheesecake Hmm not the best but tomorrow will be better!

OP posts:
Emz449 · 04/04/2016 18:37

Actually it might not be Grin will see what lunch will be like and hope there's some low calorie/carb options! Dinner at least will be healthy

Popping in to say hello, you know I'm lurking in the background sinister much😁
Nice to see you back emz, you're putting loads into your physical fitness, fair play to you. I've only managed my walking the last week as I have a chesty thing and couldn't bear the thoughts of my hiit/weights workouts. Lowest recorded weight is 11.5, down from 12.2.6 around mid feb.
Must I promise you if you increase the water intake consistently the fluctuations will decrease, if you're keeping to your cals then water retention can be the only cause of 2lb gains. Start at 1litre, and increase a glass until you're comfortably at 2-3 litres. That and walking 10,000 steps a day has worked wonders for me on the fluc'front. Bath you sound determined, you'll do great, just koko- it's a bastard of a journey but worthwhile in the long run. Starting to feel slimmer, very exciting to see the weight dropping & actually seeing it in my face/waist. Keep well all & keep at it x
