Happy weekend all Grin think I'm over the worst of this cold/bug thing. Still feel rubbish but it's mostly cold symptoms now. Hope you are getting better too This

Another 1lb down on the scales today 12st 2. I've lost 5lb since the 7th March, the end of my first plateau, suppose it evens it out because I was losing 1-2lb a week before.

2lb from a stone and a half loss, 3lb a way for the 11's 🤗

JontyDoggle37 · 19/03/2016 15:13

Keep going Must you're doing so well!
I've got my eating back under control a bit more, haven't managed to track everything but there's certainly less going in! Haven't weighed today but yesterday I was down a pound to 10st 1.75, so hoping I can keep heading back down again, back to goal and then down to 9.9.

MustBeThin · 19/03/2016 16:31

Thanks Jonty I'm so pleased with myself. I can't believe it. Grin

Glad to see you are getting back on track you'll be back in the 9's in no time.

ThisIsme2 · 19/03/2016 18:01

Well done must.

I'm glad you feel a little better. I'm not feeling great, but on the plus side I'm still not eating much.

MustBeThin · 20/03/2016 17:45

Hope you are a little better today This I still feel rubbish, sick to death of sneezing Angry and having a runny nose.

Make sure you eat some soup or something, might speed up the recovery feeding the cold. Smile I've been sad because when I'm ill usually I'd live off chocolate milkshake and soup but had to obviously skip the milkshake this time. Sad

Forgot to weight this morning! Jumped straight into the shower then realised I hadn't weighed but was too late then as my hair was soaked. Only the second time I've forgotten this year. I haven't gone over my calories though so if there's a gain tomorrow it'll be bloat.

wispaxmas · 20/03/2016 20:33

I've not logged anything into MFP today because we had an early Easter lunch at my in-laws and I'm sure I over did it with the tapas and the chocolate Blush

Still, just one day out of the week should not cause too much of a set back, and I've done 19k steps yesterday and 15k today!

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.

ThisIsme2 · 20/03/2016 21:49

I feel a tiny bit better today, thanks must, I even cooked Sunday dinner, although only chicken, veg and jackets.

I've been having lots of Heinz chicken soup, bananas and mango. Very healthy!

I still have no scales, might try to get to boots to weigh myself soon.

I'm sick of coughing and blowing my nose too Confused

JontyDoggle37 · 21/03/2016 04:51

Morning all, scales say 10st 2.5 this morning. I have realised I have a dressage competition this coming Saturday, which requires tight white breeches which only fit well when I'm at goal....perfect incentive to get my butt in gear and drop a couple of pounds this week! Grin

wispaxmas · 21/03/2016 07:50

Hope the cough and snot goes soon, this! It's no fun, is it? I had a hacking cough for weeks following my last bad cold, so I really sympathise. Good job sticking to soup and fruit, I'm sure the warmth and the vitamins have helped you.

wispaxmas · 21/03/2016 07:55

Jonty, good luck losing the lbs, and good luck on the competition!!

PandaBear30 · 21/03/2016 10:34

Get well soon to those that are unwell.

I'm down 3lbs this week to 12st 10lbs which had been my easter goal. Really pleased Smile Time to set my next mini goal. Think I'm going to aim for 12 stone by the end of April, which is 5.5 weeks away so 2lbs a week. Definitely doable if I can remain as focused as I've been the last few weeks.

PandaBear30 · 21/03/2016 21:32

Very quiet on here today. Hope you're all having good Mondays.
I've had a good day today coming in around 1300. Things are going well at the moment but I'm worried that Easter and the holidays will throw my focus (like Christmas did!)and I'll be back to my old ways. I can't let it happen. I'm feeling great at the moment and feel horrendous when I'm eating crap. I've spent my adult life on some diet or other so I guess it's hard to imagine that this time I may actually get down to a healthy BMI and a weight I'm happy with. Does anyone else feel like this?

Jonty you are one of the stars of this board. You've done amazingly well with your weightless. I'm sure you'll get to 9st 9 in no time.

wispaxmas · 21/03/2016 22:09

Amazing progress, panda!

I definitely feel like achieving a healthy BMI is impossible. I've never been a huge overeater, barring a few weaknesses (Nutella!), and I've never been fully sedentary, and yet as an adult my 'normal' weight put me at a BMI of 27-28, and even with huge amounts of effort to lose weight I would never reach that lofty goal of a BMI of 25 and would find myself back in the middle ground of the overweight category. I'm now just into the obese level and finding the weight loss so slow despite the effort I'm putting in that I feel like even getting back to where I used to be will never happen.

A part of me is now really hoping I have an underactive thyroid and there's some sort of synthetic hormone I can take that will solve my problems. Sad

ThisIsme2 · 22/03/2016 02:24

I'm still coughing like mad, but was able to go for a walk today. Calorie wise I'm doing ok, as long as I didn't start eating out of boredom. Today I had about 1200 calories.

MustBeThin · 22/03/2016 10:30

Still got a bloody cold. Sad

Scales are another 1lb down today 12st 1 so close to the 11's. Grin

Could have another 1lb back on tomorrow though but I hope not, just had a Frankie & Benny's breakfast cinnamon waffle topped with blueberries, strawberries and natural yogurt not sure how many calories it is but after working out what I will be having for tea and a snack I have 691 calories for the waffle. So hopefully it'll be less than that. It was amazing though so worth it. Grin

MustBeThin · 22/03/2016 12:31

Just tried on a pair of expensive boots I haven't worn for years because they got too tight on the calf but I couldn't bare to get rid of them......they are now loose Grin looser than they were when I first bought them. The best thing is I have 2 pairs of these boots in different colours. Happy days. 😀

PandaBear30 · 22/03/2016 13:34

wispa it must be frustrating when you're trying hard and weight loss is slow. Definitely worth seeing the doc if you're still concerned about your thyroid.

Hope you're feeling better soon This and Must. Well done on another lb off Must seems to be coming off nicely for you now and so so close to the 11s. Well done on getting back into your boots, such a nice feeling when things that were once too tight become loose.

Good day for me so far. Porridge and banana for breakfast, lunch has been soup a small bread roll and a muller light yoghurt. Dinner is some left over turkey stir fry and will finish off with a highlights hot chocolate. Weather where I am is lovely and sunny today, makes me even more motivated to shift the lbs and get myself some nice clothes for summer. I WILL do it!

ThisIsme2 · 23/03/2016 01:45

Finally I think I feel a bit better, not coughing quite as much.

Another day of sticking to 1300 calories. I had banana and porridge for breakfast, a sausage roll for lunch (I was out) and a baked potato with a little butter and salad for dinner, plus a very small piece of rhubarb cake.

JontyDoggle37 · 23/03/2016 08:54

Glad to hear people are starting to feel better and good news on the boots IMust!
I'm at 10.0.75 today so only another lb and I'll be back in the 9s. Doing loads of exercise at the moment too which is helping

MustBeThin · 23/03/2016 09:30

Thanks everyone glad you are feeling a bit better This I feel a lot better today too. I went downhill a bit yesterday afternoon and started to feel sick again so didn't manage to eat all of my tea last night but hopefully I will continue to get over this cold today.

Yes Jonty Grin almost back in the 9'story

I'm still 12st 1 today, 1lb away from 1 and a half stone loss.

Come back and let us know how you are doing Emz Bath Not2b Steward Thankful and anyone else I've missed. Smile

MustBeThin · 23/03/2016 09:31

Hmm I obviously meant 9's not 9'story Grin

JontyDoggle37 · 23/03/2016 10:32

I know I'm tall but 9 stories!!!Grin

JontyDoggle37 · 23/03/2016 10:46

Storeys. Gah.

peasareevilcreatures · 23/03/2016 11:17

Can I jump on this thread as it seems the one I was on has died a death and I need the motivation/accountability.

I've been using MFP since 12/02/16 along with my Fitbit to work out my deficit.
I started out at 12st 2lb and today I'm 10st 9lb. I lost quite quickly at the beginning but it's normally a steady 1lb a week loss.
Just recently got back in a healthy BMI for the first time in around 6 years Smile
Doing it this way really works for me. I'm also tight and don't want to pay out for a diet so MFP really suits.

My original goal is 10st 7lb by the second week in april when I go on holiday (want to feel confident in a bikini!) and then after that I'd like to get to just below 10 stone but that can take as long as it takes.

I've been terrible at maintaining weight in the past so I'm in this for the long term as a lifestyle change with the logging and watching my calories in vs calories out (can't get my head around logging for ever yet but I know that's the only thing that'll stop me gaining again).

I'm out tonight for a meal so I've kept a bigger deficit the last couple of days to allow for it.

peasareevilcreatures · 23/03/2016 11:17

Sorry thats 12th Jan not february....that'd be a crazy weight loss!
