Part 4 Already! Thought I'd get things started before the old thread got full! Will be posting in a sec to see what my weight was at the beginning and end of the old thread

MustBe how frustrating, you are certainly due a whoosh! Just a thought but are you counting every single calorie so things like milk in tea, dressing on salad, butter on bread, sauces/condiments - I know with things like this I tend to just guess as they're more fiddly and messy to weigh/measure.
Bath well done on shedding another 1lb. I know what you mean about being in the right head space. Right now I'm focused and feel like I'm in control of my eating but all it could take is one bad day for all that to be lost again.
Emz before I joined the thread I lurked and have read all your posts. Can't believe how much weight you've lost, properly amazing. How are you finding being at goal?

Been a reasonable day for me today, came in at around 1500, which for a Saturday isn't too bad in my view. Took DC2 to a party in the afternoon and only had a cup of tea, despite there being all the usual kids party nosh, that I love. Did treat ourselves to a takeaway front the local kebab place, I got a Chicken Shish on it own no chips. Was lovely.
Hope you're all having lovely weekends Smile

MustBeThin · 06/03/2016 08:05

Yes Panda weighing/measuring and logging EVERYTHING exactly the same as before including things like milk and butter. I've gone from losing a stone in just under 7 weeks to losing nothing. Sad I rarely eat all of my calories and I rarely eat all of my tea because I get full so you'd think I'd have even more calories left over and I'd be losing weight but it's not happening. I don't understand at all. 15 days now and I've lost nothing and I'm due to finish my pill on Wednesday so I'll probably gain a pound or two soon. Sad I was so excited to finally be losing weight and was looking forward to being slimmer now I'm just upset/disheartened. I'm still plodding along even though nothings changing, I'm going to be stuck eating next to no calories forever to stay this fat.

StewardsEnquiry · 06/03/2016 08:21

MustBe just keep going. You will have a sudden whoosh. Drink lots of water and try to have a good sleep. These are the things we have found help on the thread.

Bathsheba3 · 06/03/2016 08:44

Haven't weighed-in today. Had a good day yesterday, but blew it with late night slice of toast. Know it wasnt too bad in the general scheme of things (i.e. there was a box of flapjack open & I didn't touch one!) but it has bloated me up big time.

Must - so frustrating for you. All very strange. No answers, but one idea is that maybe your body / metabolism is still readjusting to calorie shortfall. Either give it time, increase exercise, or maybe up your calories a bit? Could your body be in shock at weight loss, and now hanging on to everything / starvation mode clutching at straws. But do keep drinking water. What's your food like? Good balance proteins, veggies & carbs?

Happy Mothers Day to us all Flowers

Bathsheba3 · 06/03/2016 08:50

Great restraint Panda turning down chips with kebab and at party. Hope you see another good loss this week.

Sorry your throat infection has come back Emz. Ouch

Emz449 · 06/03/2016 13:55

Thanks Panda Smile it's trial and error to be honest, once you've been on a diet for a while there's the urge to eat everything when you've reached your goal, but I still log my food and have the occasional splurge. Once I do though I make sure I have a few days of lower calories and it balances out. I also make sure I still weigh myself almost every day, I really don't want to go back to where I was! I am so happier where I am weight wise now and hate to slip back into old ways. I've also started exercising more now which is great, runs, squash badminton etc, feels great doing it and I feel so much lighter

Saying that when I move in with my boyfriend again it could be difficult! He's hating South American food and has plans to have as much take away as possible when he comes back Hmm still have 6 months until that!

PandaBear30 · 06/03/2016 21:06

MustBe well done for sticking with it. Will keep everything crossed there's a whoosh heading your way this week.

Emz well done on all the exercise. My plan when I get to goal is to really up my exercise and like you to continue to log calories, just helps you to be accountable if you're having to be accountable.

Have gone over my calories today due to a certain little gold bunny Hmm well half of one anyway. My fitbit is saying I've only done 1300 steps today (usually come in at 8-10000), I've really enjoyed a VERY lazy mothers day!!!

Bathsheba3 · 07/03/2016 08:03

Grrrrr. 1/4 lb up. Still in 12s. Only have self to blame. Convinced myself last night fig rolls counted as a fruit/veg. Veg juice for breakfast (cucumber, celery, apple & ginger) & will have soup at lunch. Normal dinner. Dog walk, hour's exercise, 5 + loads laundry, and a ton of work to do. Hope that will shift it.

Happy Monday everyone!

MustBeThin · 07/03/2016 08:42

Hoo-fucking-rah I'm 1lb down, 16 days 16 BLOODY DAY'S to lose 1lb. If I get back on the scales tomorrow and it's back to 12st 7 I might just have to throw the bloody things through the window. I'm now 1st 1lb down. Grin when I eventually manage to lose a couple more pounds I'm going to treat myself to a chippy tea at this rate it'll take me a few months though. Angry

MustBeThin · 07/03/2016 09:12

OMG I've just put a pair of jeans on I haven't worn since beginning of January, they were a little snug so haven't worn them since. Just put them on and they are too big Shock I've got my belt on the last hole but now my belts too big so it's not really doing its job. I've just got to nip out and fear I will have a saggy arse when I come back. I really don't want to be buying any new jeans until I've lost more weight but looks like I can't put it off for much longer.

Bathsheba3 · 07/03/2016 09:27

HURRAY Must !!!!! Star There you go - sack the scales, and go by your clothes & belts. (You will have a whoosh soon too I'm sure).

MustBeThin · 07/03/2016 10:14

Thanks Bath it's cheered me right up, wasn't expecting the scales to move today after being stuck for so long. Really can't believe how big these jeans feel Shock I don't think I look like I've lost much at all tbh, my tummy is flatter and I can see the very bottom of my ribs when I just have a bra on but I didn't feel like I'd lost anything off my thighs but I obviously have. Grin

Bathsheba3 · 07/03/2016 10:47

Admire you v much Must - you have stuck with it, despite how frustrating it has been for you to not shift any weight on the scales except the 1 lb, you have changed your body shape, and dropped a whole dress size, which is no mean feat.

JontyDoggle37 · 07/03/2016 10:52

Flying visit. Well done Must!
No time to think about food and as a result eating badly plus very hungry at the moment and a few troubles with dog overnight in vets, horse still sick and not getting better etc etc. Aiming to at least track all food today and make sure I have snacks with me. Scales say I'm 5 POUNDS heavier today than Friday!!!

MustBeThin · 07/03/2016 11:30

Aaaww thanks Bath it's has definitely been frustrating these last 2 weeks but I wanted to keep at it, I'm sort of in a routine food wise now so it wasn't too hard sticking with it just annoying that the scales weren't moving.
Changing my lunch today, think i might grill some chicken and have it with a tray of roasted Mediterranean veggies that I bought from morrisons. Got to be better than egg on toast. Grin going to make a big pan of veg soup to portion up too.

Ooh Jonty wish I could give you a hug. Flowers Hope your dog and horse are well soon, it's horrible when pets are poorly. Sad Most of the weight is probably bloat, it'd be super hard to gain 5lbs in a couple of days, remember when I gained 2lb overnight even though I'd been eating well within my calories? That's probably what's happened with extra salt and maybe not having time to drink enough. Hope you are feeling better soon.

PandaBear30 · 07/03/2016 16:12

Yay Must 1lb off at long last but much more importantly is the drop in clothes size. Well done for sticking with it.
Jonty Flowers hope they're better soon.

I'm down 3lbs this week to 13st 2lbs. Very pleased.

Bathsheba3 · 07/03/2016 21:12

Go Panda!!! 3 lbs great. The 12's are just around the corner.

Sorry to hear about poorly animals Jonty. Take care of yourself too.

MustBeThin · 08/03/2016 07:28

Wooooohoo well done Panda 3lbs is brill.

Almost fell of the scales in shock this morning Grin another 1lb down. 12st 5 now and I've lost 1st 2lb in total. 5lbs more and I'll have lost a stone and half.

My 2lb loss in 2 days makes up for the 2 weeks without a loss. Grin

Thankfulforeveryday · 08/03/2016 07:43

Wonderful must, I was actually thinking about your weird lack of loss last night when i couldn't sleep....odd I know!! So I'm soooo glad it's coming off now.
Only 1/2 off today but after the "cocktail binge" and the aftermath that followed I'm happy with that!!
I worked out I drank nearly 4500 calories that day ShockShockShockBlushBlush shocking how they add up!!! No more White Russians for me!!
Have a good day everyone!! Xox

StewardsEnquiry · 08/03/2016 09:37

Yay Panda and Must. Great losses. Gotta love those whooshes

I am maintaining at 9st 13 or so. As long as I am under 10st that's okay with me. I would like to have a tiny bit more head room though so I will try to be a bit more careful for the next week or so.

Keep weighing, Jonty. Hang on in there.

MustBeThin · 08/03/2016 21:46

Hahaha Thankful I haven't got a clue what was happening but at least it's come off now. Grin if I go a long time without losing again I will be frustrated but at least I'll know it's happened before and I should start losing again. Dreaded TOM coming soon though, hopefully it won't make me bloat and gain again. Very strange how the body works Hmm so far since January I've had over 2 weeks with no loss and an overnight 2lb gain eating less than 1200 Cals and the weight hung around for 5 days.

Well done for maintaining Steward Star

PandaBear30 · 08/03/2016 23:08

Must that's great and so well deserved.

Thankful well done of your 1/2lb it all adds up.

Stewards how are you managing maintenance? are you still using MFP to track every day?

Not a great day for me... ate the other half of that Lindt bunny. Bit sleep deprived at the moment and just needed a pick-me-up! Oh well at least I didn't do what I'd usually do and say sod it 'I've blown it now, let's just eat everything in sight and I'll start again tomorrow'.
Really want to make the 12s by my next weigh in on Monday.

ThisIsme2 · 09/03/2016 08:49

Can I join you all? I know I'm overweight, my jeans are too tight - and I was a bit overweight when they fit well anyway - but I don't have any scales because I get a bit obsessive about them, so I can't weigh myself. However, based on past experience I'm probably around 11 stone 12 and ideally I want to get down to under 10 stone 7.

My problem is a sweet tooth and emotional eating - I eat when I'm sad, bored, angry .. And I've been going through a really rough patch, so lots of emotional eating.

I've got the MFP app on my phone, so hopefully I can keep track of what I've eaten.
