And anyone else who wants to join in. The idea of this thread is a way to record weightloss, motivate each other, discuss which methods if any we are using to lose weight and give the occasional kick up the bum.

Right you lot. I was going to wait until new year to start this thread but I think that if I'm going to have my head in the right place to start, I need your help now. I haven't weighed yet I'll do that on the 1st but I think I probably have 2 1/2 stone to lose. Last time I had 3st to lose so I'm seeing that as a postitive.

So, are any of you still out there? Who'd like to join me? Xmas Grin

Good for you eighty - don't let it wreck today!

InMySpareTime · 18/01/2014 08:25

Happy Saturday everyone, how's it going?
I have the Out Laws again, Original Motivationers will know what that means. They're on form, but at least they're only here until tomorrow, then I can go on a date with DH for our anniversary on Sunday evening.
Until then, deep breaths, happy place...

KatoPotato · 18/01/2014 09:05

IMST! I remember them well! And I remember your anniversary is the same time as mine! ( not wedding, of meeting/first date) what a quick year!

Good luck, be strong!

Hello all

IMST hope you're enjoying time with outlaws it's never going to happen though is it

eighty I'm sure I remember something about spb being on a work trip to Manchester for the meet up with IMST and Hair rather than living there, but I could be wrong.

I don't blog but I've only just started getting into reading various blogs, never really looked or realised about them before Blush . Kato what's your blog about (if you don't mind me asking)? and linky link if you don't mind [nosy] . Do you have one then hair or are you thinking or starting one?

Today has been OK assuming I forget the chocolate coins just finished an 'easy' insanity workout but found it far from easy. I'm just so wiped out at the minute and struggling for motivation past few days. It feels like I've been working on this for so long it's just getting a bit dull. But I do want to keep where I am and not put anything on. Went to a charity shop this morning which had a big sale and everything was £1 for the day, so got some size 12 bits for me as nothing ever fits me properly and feeling chuffed with my buys. A nightie, skirt, 2 cardis,2 coats, and 2 tops for £8! That cheered me up at least

InMySpareTime · 18/01/2014 15:19

SPB's from Durham or thereabouts IIRC. I have a blog here but it's mostly about my books and stories I've written, not about weight loss at all!

TheOneWithTheHair · 18/01/2014 15:36

No. I don't blog. I'm just nosy.

Can you link to your blog please Kato?

I'm having a good week which is just as well as I've had 3 nights out in the last 8 days. Also it's totm so if I haven't gained on Monday I will consider that a success.

Nights out are like buses. They hardly ever happen and then I have a few all together.

It's seriously a newborn blog, three posts published and three drafts ready to go up!

Just had a nose kato . I LOVE those glittery bras (or are they tops ) on there Envy . And, FWIW, I have owned a pair of culottes, 2 pairs in fact, one was my brownies uniform and the other was a lovely M&S floral pair when I was about 11 Grin

Hair look at you e nights out in 8 days Envy .

IMST how are sales of the book going? It must've been just the best feeling ever to have copies of your own book in your hand for the first time.

FattyMcSaggyChops · 19/01/2014 07:38

Just checking in as I lost the thread from threads I'm on.

I haven't tracked on MFP the past couple of days as I've been really busy. I'm hoping I've done ok but it's also my TOTM in next couple of days. I'm always ravenous the few days before it but ok once it starts as I take transexamic which makes me nauseous.

Have my dns christening today so will check back in tomorrow and try and catch up with the thread. Hope everyone else is doing well.

InMySpareTime · 19/01/2014 08:44

Reastie, book sales going well, pushing 90 now, getting into profit at lastGrin!
You're all doing well here, it's great seeing all the motivation going strong.
The Out Laws leave in 5 hours (not that I'm counting down or anything).

InMySpareTime · 19/01/2014 13:19

They've goneGrin.
Got off pretty lightly this time, just an evening of frosty silence, and a complaint that I make coffee too hotHmm.
The sun is out here, and I have an hour's peace this afternoon. Trying to decide what I need more:
A bath
A nap
A book to read
A bike ride
A walk

I'm out later, Hair's babysitting, I'll be back on form tomorrow.

Reastie · 19/01/2014 15:50

IMST how dare you make hot coffee?! Hmm . I'd say have a little walk/bike ride then mutlitask with a book in the bath Grin . Enjoy! Glad book sales are into profit.

Did a speed and agility asylum workout today and worked hard, which makes me feel better about the chocolate consumed earlier again

TheOneWithTheHair · 19/01/2014 16:00

Afternoon. Anyone else nervous about weighing tomorrow?

I have noticed that we are very quiet at the weekends. I wonder if it's busyness or if we don't want to admit to going off the rails. Or both?

For me it's being busy.

Reastie · 19/01/2014 16:06

Hair yes, I'm nervous with weigh in! I had a cheeky mid week weigh in 3 times and was 1lb ON :( so I'm hoping that will miraculously disappear and I'll be maintain. I don't want to be stripped of my 100-versary!

KatoPotato · 20/01/2014 00:27

Dreading weigh in. Honestly. I've been dreadful.

Two birthdays and an anniversary. I've done a lot of exercise, but nowhere near enough to counteract all the nonsense I've allowed myself to inhale.

Just uploaded my three drafted posts on the blog if any one is interested...

Reastie · 20/01/2014 07:34

Weigh in - maintain today. Phew, after half of the week being 1 lb on I'm pleased with that

My first weigh in on the wagon and it's 2lb off. Hurray!

Really pleased with that, specially as this time last week I was feasting on chocolate and crisps and finding it very difficult to find any some motivation! Very much looking forward to being able to exercise again.

Kato inspired by you we has Kale with tea last night. Hmmm, not a fan so much.

Reastie wow! super bargain shopping. £8 for bags full of clothes!

hair 3 nights out what a party animal you are!

TheOneWithTheHair · 20/01/2014 09:19

Bugger. 2lbs on. I'm putting it down to 3 nights out and it's totm. I never do well when I have my period.

Kato your blog is fab!! Your ds is gorgeous and I'm Envy of your bra drawers!

eighty I'm trying to concentrate on the eighty atm. I'll tackle the twenty when there's more day light and I'm not struggling to get going.

OP posts:
Tobermory · 20/01/2014 09:21

Kato just perusing your blog...
LOVE the cake as would my children!

And, am just Shockat how many bras you have!!

ifandwhen · 20/01/2014 09:26

2lb off here. But then I've been mostly housebound looking after poorly people the past week so not much opportunity to go too wild!

Am enjoying geeking around with mfp, think its helping me get portion sizes back under control. Could still do with fitting more exercise in though, feeling a bit sluggish. And now have to use every available hour DD at school and DS at playgroup to catch up on work I should have done last week whilst we were house of lurgy. Better get on with it....

Oh and thanks again for letting me join in. Am finding you all very inspiring, and am also amazed at the motivational powers of a good spreadsheet Grin

ifandwhen · 20/01/2014 09:32

takes me so long to write a message, always few steps behind the conversation!

Well done Tobermory!

And now, had a nose at Kato's blog too - I second the cake LOVE! Smaug's hoard?
