Hi all, I joined slimmig world yesterday as I finally ready and motivated to get this weight off. Anyone else? Is there a support thread for those following slimming world? As I couldn't see one on here. If not anyone interested in helping to support each other here?

Welcome littledolly! I have been a good girl today.. theres still time i suppose...

breakfast: 1 slice of wholemeal toast and a lempsip Confused
Lunch: low fat chicken supernoodles
Between thgis i have had lots of hot water and a coffee and a cup of tea, for tea the family had giant lovely pizza but i had:
crunchy stir fry with boiled rice followed by pineapple, apple and banana chopped fruit with a muller light.

tigerdriverII · 02/03/2013 19:59

Hello littledolly - welcome.

We're all trying, and we're losing. Someone has been keeping a spreadsheet of our losses, it's impressive!

So, today:

B: 0% yog, blueberries, banana

a diet coke and one BlackJack (? 1/2 a syn?) just being nostalgic as DS had a pack of them

L: lots of salad and rice, chicken tikka pieces, some bombay pots, some veg curry and some fruit salad: probably not more than 5 syns

a glass of wine with lunch (oops)

Cup of Bovril

Some wine this evening and dinner is steak with salad and home made oven chips.

Some walking and lots of jumping up and down at a match this afternoon, must have burned off some of those syns.

I am expecting a STS on Wed but will pull in my horns tomorrow, Mon and Tue, so let's see

beanandspud · 02/03/2013 20:38

Had a pretty good day today. It is definitely easier sticking to a plan when DH isn't around Grin.

B - pineapple and muller light
S - fruit, yogurt, '10 calorie' jelly
L - didn't quite happen as was on the go with DS but had an alpen bar
D - seafood paella (leftover from yesterday)

Just having a Wine though. Much as I love having a full-on day with DS I'm not sure he has been quiet since 7am and I am enjoying the peace finally!

Does anyone know if those Hartley 10 calorie jellies are 'free' or do they count as 0.5 syns.

Tiger I haven't worked out the group's loss on this thread for a bit - I will get on the case!

tigerdriverII · 02/03/2013 20:42

Oh - thought it was you bean!

I think the Hartley jellies are half a syn. I have them mushed up with 0% yog (I should have shares in Total now, it's blooming expensive but I have it with everything, am making pretend sour cream with it tonight to have with my chips!).

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2013 18:24

afternoon, well evening

cooked a roasty for other half while he has been draining heating system to fit new radiator in bathroom

assume all free apart from gravey and yorkies - will work out, but they were smaller ones so must be less then last weeks syns :(

what have you all been eating today?

KissMyGrits · 03/03/2013 18:40

My Mum made pie and I couldn't say no, luckily I've done a lot of exercise this weekend and had a salad for lunch so hopefully haven't done too much damage!

laughalot · 03/03/2013 19:24

Sunday roast chicken, mash pot ,carrotts, leeks, green beans, yorkie, gravy.

tigerdriverII · 03/03/2013 20:56

B: fruit, fat free yog

L: scrambled eggs and smoked salmon in toast (HEb)

Snack: 5 laughing cow light blue cheese (hea) - not had them before, yum....

D: is going to be SW cottage pie, leeks, and kale

I have had some Wine though.

beanandspud · 03/03/2013 21:39

Complete disaster today, started ok but we have had guests so have had far too much wine, crisps, chocolates...

Think I just need to write it off and start again tomorrow... (hic!)

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2013 23:33

Bless you bean

I had a bit of a pig out yesterday with twix bar - crisps - gin - KFC

But syned it all - around the 50 mark :(

Will have to limit syns this week for next 4 days to 8 a day or less

Oh put reduced mince but not extra lean or even lean - the pillock brought full fat Hmm

Will be making a shepherds pie for him and him alone tomorrow

Blondes won't be eating - but will look at the amount of fat that comes out

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2013 23:34

Brought

Fragglewump · 04/03/2013 08:26

I think you can rinse the mince after you fry it and also clean out the pan then you have taken away the fat and can eat it! That's what rosemary Conley club said to do. I've been doing sw for 4 days and bored by the effort already! That's crap isn't it!

ThatBintAgain · 04/03/2013 13:16

Morning, just wondering - do you all get told off if 1/3 of your plate isn't superfree? I also got told off for having more than 1 a or b HE choice, even though on green it says take two. Apparently you lose faster with just the one and even better if you have none at all.

Do you all get told this?

Me23 · 04/03/2013 13:17

I have been a bad bad girl since last wi Blush have basically been eating what I want meal wise but haven't gone too crazy. Saturday I met up with a friend for the day so didn't really have much control over food ad yesterday went out with my dad for pub lunch had hummus pitta as chips! Very naughty but so nice! Then last night had a takeaway curry! Was a tomato based veg curry with plain boiled rice but still not good. Hopefully I can salvage the rest of the week.

Will be wi at home this thurs as working all day so can't get to group.
Sorry to hear air your gain this week blondes hopefully you will see a loss this week.
Today I've eaten
B- weetabix heb and milk hea
L- pasta and tomato purée

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 04/03/2013 16:23

fraggle this was the real fatty mince, sometimes i buy lean and not extra lean, but would never buy full fat

oh will be happy, has made him his tea of shepherds pie and froze the rest with label saying oh lol

bint seems if i eat both a and b - i sts or even gain like last week-normally eat a as cheese 'blondes drools'

me sounds a lovely weekend Grin

l salmon and tons of veg and sc lite (1)
t chilli prawn linguini and veg

had 2 sb's today, both 10 syns as skinny, gonna use my a as one of them so one will be 4 syns and other 10- does that make sense- so syns have been on sb and salad cream (15)

noyouhavehadawee · 04/03/2013 16:41

noyouhavehadawee · 04/03/2013 16:43

BadRoly · 04/03/2013 16:47

I do ee and we are always being told we MUST eat our A and B and we MUST have syns and we MUST eat loads of free foods (fruit and veg).

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/03/2013 16:55

That's right noyou

noyouhavehadawee · 04/03/2013 17:08

thanks blonds i did and it was lush and i feel all full Grin Grin Grin . i certainly always have two a and b and limit my syns were possible. i am being so good this week if Friday is a disappointment i am going to have th mother of all tantrums Grin

today i have had two weetabix, home made carrot potato and leak soup a packet of quavers and my spag bol - saving my muller and melon fruit for later.

KissMyGrits · 04/03/2013 18:37

I tend to have milk in my tea as my hexa which is nowhere near the daily allowance and I have my hexb every other day and I've been losing at least 2lbs a week on average. I know its not ideal but eat a yoghurt a day for calcium and lots of fruit and veg and I've been feeling fine.

b: mullerlight
l: chicken and noodles
d: quorn sausage casserole with mash and broccoli 4syns

snacks: banana, apple

hexa: milk in tea hexb: thinking about having an Alpen light bar later

smellylittleorange · 04/03/2013 19:02

Hi all just logging on as missed first class this eve, waiting for next session at 7.30 . I really really want my macaroni cheese (treat meal) but know if I eat it will be xtra lbs. ill be lucky if I lose due to holiday indulgences. Was lovely food and drink though.

What is everyone doingfor Mothers day? Am being taken to Jamies italian, have identified a Salmon dish that looks nice but diet friendly ish. Also doing an afternoon tea.for my mum Saturday which will be lethal scones , cupcakes , sandwiches, lots of cream and cakey stuff oh and Peach Bellinis!

smellylittleorange · 04/03/2013 19:07

Tigerdriver , am so with you on theBlue Cheese laughing cow yumers!

Blondes you should label the Cottage pie as containing Horse! For some reason I imagine full fat mince has more chance than the finest.extra lean steak!

tigerdriverII · 04/03/2013 20:22

I find having a hea and a HEb works best for me, I am on EE, can't be bothered with all the complicated stuff!

Today

B: fruit, yoghurt

Snack: hifi bar HEb and lots of fruit

L: baked spud, beans, lots of salad without dressing

D: SW spag Bol, salad, Parmesan hea

Some more Wine, leftover from yesterday (not so good).

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/03/2013 20:25
