Hello Jee and Choccy
Feel free to friend me, I'm HappyKite.
I deleted a weight from 2010 today! Blush. However, I can't remember how I did it. I'm on my phone now, but I'll look later when I can get to my iPad.

WiseKneeHair · 09/01/2013 20:04

X post with DharmaGrin

DharmaBumpkin · 09/01/2013 20:05

We'll all have to form a cross-posting quiche if we're not careful Grin

Choccyjules · 09/01/2013 20:12

Looking forward to finding out if its possible to delete on the app.

Today is the first day I've come in under budget, as it were!

WiseKneeHair · 09/01/2013 20:36

You can't delete previous weights on the app, at least I haven't found a way.

wheredidiputit · 09/01/2013 20:37

I have and a VERY bad day.

I have spent all afternoon in A & E.

I had a phone call from DS nursery to say he had hurt his arm. So picked him up got DH home from work. Took DS to A & E.

Then we get a phone call from DD's school. DD2 has fallen and split her chin open. So DH leave me and ds at hospital, goes and get dd2 from nannies who picked up from school and brings her to the hospital.

So dd2 has had her chin glued together, and ds has to go back to the fracture clinic tomorrow to see how badly he has hurt it.

So I have had porridge for breakfast and I am just cooking a quick tea for me.

WiseKneeHair · 09/01/2013 20:39

Sad What a crap day wheredidiputit
Hope they're both ok. At least you only had to go once (sort of).
Enjoy your tea.

Elainey1609 · 09/01/2013 21:22

You can only delete it on the main internet site o it not using the app im afraid

Sorry I've not been on much lately - been so busy making cakes I've not had a lot of time to myself!

Hope you are all well! :o

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 10/01/2013 07:12

I joined MFP yesterday. I am determined to get rid of my wobbly belly (even though my ds1 loves it). I will add some of you as friends.

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 10/01/2013 07:12

Oh please add me, my user name is the same.

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 10/01/2013 07:14

Oh, and ds1 is 2, just incase you thought he was 14 or something!

BoraBora · 10/01/2013 09:28

Okay, need help. Seem to have put on two pounds this week Hmm I've been set to 1200cals, and I've been eating te extra 500cals allocated for breastfeeding. I've been having a few extra exercise cals for treats.

I don't know what to do. I'm scared of reducing too much because I don't want to interfere with my supply as I'm EBF. Any ideas?

BoraBora · 10/01/2013 10:48

Really, really thinking of giving up.

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 10/01/2013 11:01

Don't give up borabora. Are you keeping your metabolism up by eating little and often? If you are going hungry that might be slowing down your metabolism.
Remember, if you weren't watching what you were eating you would have put on even more, and then given yourself even more pounds to lose to get to your goal weight.
Keep going! Stay focused!

BoraBora · 10/01/2013 11:58

Just feel like I'm doomed either way Hmm sorry, bad night with the baby so am feeling tired, headachy and generally sorry for myself.

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 10/01/2013 12:06

I have a massive thing for quick sugar fixes, I can stand in the kitchen at 3pm and engulf half a packet of biscuits whilst I'm making myself a cup of tea. But the last couple of days, by staying away from biscuits and chocolate I have loads more energy. So there are short term benefits to eating well, as well as long term ones like weight loss.
Keep eating lots of fruit and healthy snacks and nap when your baby does (if able). That 2lbs might have been water not fat, let's see what the scales say next week.
I know how you feel btw, I have a demanding toddler and a 9 month old who still breast feeds 3 times a night.

javotte · 10/01/2013 12:09

borabora don't give up. I haven't lost a gram in 5 days but my trousers are a little looser already.

Chopstheduck · 10/01/2013 12:15

I joined this yesterday, I'm really liking it! Downloaded the runtastic app for my phone too, to use with it. Started diet and couch to 5k on Monday.

I can't see how to add people by username though? :(

Chopstheduck · 10/01/2013 12:19

found it! And I've changed my username to Chopstheduck if anyone wants to add me. 50lbs to lose in total

BoraBora · 10/01/2013 13:10

I think I probably need to stop eating my exercise cals. Problem is that if I can't eat them I think I would loose all motivation to do any Hmm god, it's so depressing.

Chopstheduck · 10/01/2013 13:20

I don't tend to eat my exercise calories. (This is my first time with myfitnesspal, but I did used to use a similar site before.) I just kinda see exercise as cancelling out the calories I DID eat. At the gym I could burn 1000 cals, and I'd eat the 1500 or whatever I was allocated, so I lost weight pretty quickly! I lost 3 stone before, but moved gym, stopped exercising at all and slowly piled it all back on. :( Hoping to lose it again before the summer.

I think so long as you eat what you are supposed to, not eating the exercise cals won't be undereating.
