The lovely Listmeister GetOrfMyLand is still poorly, so her spreadsheet duties have been passed on to FiddleDeFat, who has done a sterling job.

Share your results here, but post on the spreadsheet as well

As FiddleDeFat says, "just enter your weight (in pounds) in the column under the appropriate date. I've left it so anyone can edit it, so if any details in the white boxes are wrong, just change them. Don't touch the blue columns. "

Thinking thin thoughts for us all for tomorrow!

I've lost 2.2lbs making me 14 stone dead. Was really hoping to see 13 something on the scales this morning. Sad Can't complain though, it's still going in the right direction.

doradoo I'm not sure what's going on with your weights on the spreadsheet. I convert kilos to pounds by multiplying by 2.20462262, so that makes this weeks weight 183.2lbs - so something's gone wrong somewhere as this means an increase of 5lbs. That can't be right! Can you post your previous weights and I'll see if it can be sorted out.

For anyone else who weighs in kilos, I've added a conversion calculator to the spreadsheet. Just click on the 'Conversion' tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet and input your kilos.

Spreadsheet's looking good. Don't worry about messing it up, it'll be fine.....

BIWItheBold · 14/05/2012 08:41

I have put my weight in the spreadsheet - but it's the weight I was on Thursday, before I was sabotaged by my client/my friends! Because the results this morning were very predictable.

I am committing myself to the '3 Day Experiment' I talked about before to undo this, and to get myself back on track generally. It will be a tough three days, but hopefully will sort it out.

sts again for me. i'm not surprised. my body doesn't seem to want me to lose any weight at the moment.

teaandthorazine · 14/05/2012 09:44

10st 8 for me - woohoo!! Amazing since I cheated last week in a fairly big way, but then have had TOTM (and v little food Hmm for the past couple of days sooooo - yay!

Am getting less and less organised as time goes on though - keep forgetting to take lunch into work so end up having nuts, which isn't great.

BIWItheBold · 14/05/2012 09:44

Today's menu - for any of you interested in following my "3 Day Experiment", which will hopefully undo the effects of Friday and Saturday (I have no idea why it's called the 3 Day Experiment - other than it taking 3 days!)

Breakfast
1 cup of coffee with milk (the only one I'm allowing myself today)
2 boiled eggs
1/2 litre sparkling water

Lunch
Tin of tuna

Dinner
Chicken breast, wrapped in pancetta, oven-baked (with no extra fat)
(DH/DS2 will have the same, except they will have veg/potatoes with theirs)

I shall be drinking water throughout the day/evening, and expect to have consumed around 3-4 litres. No more coffee is going to be the hardest bit!

One thing I have noticed since Friday is a massive increase in hot flushes. (To be fair, they have been making a gradual reappearance over the last few weeks, but yesterday/today they are really troublesome. I have noticed this before when carb levels creep up, so it will be interesting to see what happens over the next three days in this regard, as well as my weight.

Today I weighed in at 10.3 and a quarter. I will weigh again tomorrow and report back.

doradoo I've had a quick look back on the threads and the previous entries on the spreadsheet are correct. You posted 81.7kg (180.1lbs) last week so if this weeks weigh-in is right at 83.1kg (183.2lbs), this means a slight gain for you. But since you say you are at your lightest, perhaps check the scales again.

vnmum · 14/05/2012 09:56

BIWI I have also noticed the hot flushes if I have eaten too many carbs. I know it id not hormonal so must be due to the carbs.

Is the 3 day experiment basically protein and fat with no carbs what so ever? I may need it to get me out of my plataeu. I have STS for 5 weeks now and need to get it moving again.

BIWItheBold · 14/05/2012 10:03

It's three days of lean protein (i.e. it is low fat) with no more than 5g carbs per day. On day 4 you re-introduce carbs, but slowly. I'm not really sure about the fat as I've not been able to find any more information out about the origins of this approach, but I would guess that this is also a gradual re-introduction.

It is very hard to do, and the three days are very boring, and it's not really recommended unless you've been over-doing the carbs. I think it's basically a quick way of getting the glycogen stores out of your liver (but don't quote me on that!).

If you've been low carbing seriously all the time you're STS, then it may not have any impact.

I am on for the three day thingy - although in my case it wasn't just Friday and Saturday, it was wednesday, Thursday , Friday, Saturday and SundayBlush . Oh yes I hit the cake in a big way . Sugary Carbs seem to be my comfort blanket - think I need to adopt other ways to deal with stress.

GreenEyesAndHam · 14/05/2012 10:13

Think I've updated the sheet (on my phone though so who knows)

12pm lost since start of bootcamp. I'm amazed. Seriously

NigellasGuest · 14/05/2012 10:14

Hi there, I am weighing in at exactly 11st.
this is my Week 1.

Thanks for all these fantastic threads!

GreenEyesAndHam · 14/05/2012 10:15

12pm?

12lb Grin

MmeLindor. · 14/05/2012 10:19

Fiddle
I am nervous about adding myself, so could you do it for me. Don't want to mess up your spreadsheet. Starting weight: 205lbs

FiddleDeFat · 14/05/2012 10:29

NigellsGuest and MmeLindor added to spreadsheet now. Just awaiting your losses for the coming week. Smile

doradoo · 14/05/2012 12:27

Mea culpa on the spreadsheet kilo issue - I got my weight wrong.... 81.3 not 83.1 this equals 178 ish lbs I beleive..

FiddleDeFat · 14/05/2012 12:37

179lbs doradoo - yeah, that's more like it!

Fuzzybirds · 14/05/2012 12:53

Well done all you losers! Another pound off for me this week, that makes a nice round stone since I started LCing seven weeks ago (6lb off in bootcamp.)

Annoyingly I still have a considerable muffin top over my favourite size 12 jeans but I think it's going down gradually. Exercise would help I suppose but I'm not that desperate yet!

CobOnTheCorn · 14/05/2012 12:54

My weight is the same (10st 2lbs) but I'm hoping some of it is water retention and that I'll show a loss next week.

OliviaLMumsnet · 14/05/2012 13:31

one pound off since last week.
In total since I started that is about 4.5 lb but DH says I look/seem slimmer which is good

BIWItheBold · 14/05/2012 13:34

4.5lbs is great - 9 packets of lard!

OP posts:
Fiveisenough · 14/05/2012 13:34

10st 12 for me which is 152lb I put on the spreadsheet - hopefully properly. This is my week 4 as I started week behind. Tough weekend. But back on the straight and narrow as of today.

mummyduff · 14/05/2012 14:09

Well done everyone, fab weigh ins Grin

FavadiCacao · 14/05/2012 15:57

Fiddledefat- the spreadsheet is great. Thank you. Thanks

BIWI- thank you for keeping us all going Thanks

I'm down a bit more this week: now at 139lb. First time in years the scales read 9st something, one of scales even put me at 'target achieved' Grin

A friend brought some birthday cup cakes and knowing that flour makes me poorly, she baked some specifically for me with gluten free and almond flours...I could not refuse and it tasted delicious ( I haven't had cake since xmas). :( I stopped at 1 little cake and brought the rest home; each weighs roughly just under 15gr, so I hope it's no more than 10 carbs.

NigellasGuest · 14/05/2012 16:20

Fiddledefat thanks for adding me to the spreadsheet, I did not dare touch it!

My sister came round to see me and brought me some strawberries. I sent her packing politely declined Grin

BIWItheBold · 14/05/2012 16:24

Well done, NigellasGuest!
