Whoops. Managed to fill it up again! Hope it's OK to start a new one. Let's keep going everyone - big zonetastic push up to the festive season!!

Oooh it's v.quiet! Hope everyone's enjoying half term. Definitely not in the zone at the moment - bit whoopsy having come back from DS's best friend's party - couple of glasses of Cava was enough to start me off on the peanuts but never mind. Chinese takeaway tonight - tomorrow is another day! Hope you're feeling better Dinky.

Mmmm Knotty sounds like a very scrummy weekend, and why not now that you are at goal and still seem to be losing Smile. Poor you Dinky another cold, I hope you can rest up and get over this quickly. Well done on the sts Lady and Belle. I didn't WI again, as I don't want to see how quickly the scales go up. I can still fit in my size 10 suits for work, that will be the tell tale for me when I have to dust off the 12s and then after that get out the maternity suits. I am trying to be good, not having the danish pastries like I did last time, but it is still early days. Hope everyone is well, take care all xx

LadyBuzz · 26/10/2011 21:41

Hello ladies, I have had the day from hell!
Bumped the car this morning (thankfully no damage) but very scary, Work have cocked up my start date and I haven't been paid this month Angry they managed to charge me for my parking permit being re issued - go figure Hmm
The laptop charger shorted and died and the DSs netbook stopped working (3 months old - I was not amused)
DD fell out of the back door and has an egg on her head, then the washing machine packed up mid load.
Oh and DD choked on a pea and threw up all over me - just topped it off nicely.
Cue much biffing to ease the stress - I'm not holding out for the weigh in this week!

dinky how crap that you are feeling poorly again, hope it passes soon.

knotty hope you enjoyed the Wine

tdw I really don't blame you, no point in getting too hung up on it, you and the baby are more important then what you weigh!

Hope everyone else is enjoying half term

knottyhair · 27/10/2011 11:36

Morning! TDW, you must be doing OK if you can still fit in your size 10s! How are you feeling? LadyBuzz, that sounds like a terrible day! Hope your DD is OK and you, after the car incident. Also hope your employers sort themselves out soon. Can't seem to get warm here, and still feel like a cold is hanging around waiting to pounce. Just went to Waitrose with DS to get the last food bits for the Halloween party and let him get an apple danish for being good, and I nearly swayed and got myself one, but managed to talk myself out of it at the last minute. Had a jaffa cake when I got back to reward myself Grin. No exercise here at the moment, not really up to it. Did dance like a loon with the kids yesterday and got very competitive in musical statues, which I clearly won despite the 5 year old judge giving it to a 3 year old who was OBVIOUSLY CHEATING! Minestrone soup for lunch and roast chicken for dinner later. Hope everyone is having a good one xx

thedogwalker · 27/10/2011 20:44

Oh poor you Lady, what an awful day, sending you lots of belated hugs and Wine. Hope you feel better soon after the car accident and that DD's egg head goes down soon.

knottyhair · 28/10/2011 09:53

Morning! Is anyone weighing in today?? Going to leave it until next week to see if I'm still maintaining (I fear not!). Got to blitz the house today in preparation for the party on Sunday afternoon (away 1st thing tomorrow) and hope it might count towards a bit of exercise! Chicken & veg soup for lunch and pasta puttanesca with salad for dinner. Have a good one, and good luck to anyone who is due to WI xx

OP posts:
LadyBuzz · 28/10/2011 12:20

I weighed in and got a STS (phew) please kick me back into the zone!!

Enjoy your party knotty

thanks tdw I will enjoy that Wine tonight Grin

Good luck to anyone else WI

justaminute · 28/10/2011 15:52

Well done on STS Ladybuzz. By some miracle I've managed a STS too. I really am not thinking/eating like a dieter. As always I must try harder. thankfully the ankle is starting to feel better so I hope to return to exercise next week. Perhaps November will be my breakthrough month? Hmm

Sorry to have been AWOL this week. Half term mothering / refereeing of squabbles has kept me away from the PC this week. I've "lost" them this pm so that I can catch up on some admin Wink.

Have a good weekend everyone. I fear it is going to be a long one, with the extra hour on Sunday ds's normal unweildy get up time of 6am will be 5am - eek!

knottyhair · 29/10/2011 06:21

Well done on STS, LadyBuzz and JAM. And JAM, you don't need to be thinking like a "dieter", just try to eat healthily, within your allowance (if you're using MFP), and work in the odd treat where you can. Like you say, hopefully your ankle will be better next week and you can start exercising again - it does make all the difference (says she who hasn't done anything for a few days [hwink]. Need to shake this coldy thing off then I can start again too. I'll need it after this weekend. Off in a couple of hours to friends in Cambridgeshire and she always makes lovely stuff. Then Halloween party here tomorrow afternoon/eve and DS under my instruction made me buy loads of Tyrells crisps, and I'm doing sticky sausages, smoked salmon sandwiches.... it'll be calorie carnage [hgrin]! Have a lovely weekend! xx

OP posts:
knottyhair · 31/10/2011 08:42

Morning! Had a great time at the party yesterday but did polish off 2 sausages, sandwiches & crisps galore! And note to self, do not wear huge inflatable bride of frankenstein headpiece when DP has spent ages positioning fake cobwebs on the ceiling.
Back to some semblance of normality today. Got to do a food shop so haven't decided yet on what to eat but will aim to make it as healthy as poss Blush. Hope you all had a good weekend and happy Halloween [hsmile] [hsmile]!

knottyhair · 31/10/2011 09:14

I've put a pretty awful photo from yesterday on my profile of said head gear.

OP posts:
dinkystinky · 31/10/2011 11:25

Hello lovely ladies and happy halloween one and all - feeling much better now (cold now morphed into irritating cough but I can breathe and will be attempting exercise this evening!) and a few days away in Dorset. Lady - sorry you had such a shit day the other day. JAM - hope the ankle improves soon. Knotty - love the hair! Great way to dust your chandeliers. But you so have to change what you say about yourself on your profile now you've met goal [hgrin]

thedogwalker · 31/10/2011 19:40

Wow Knotty that is some head piece, how fab, I love fancy dress.
Well the day I've been dreading has finally arrived Sad, my DH went away today for 6 months. I've cried loads but had to pull myself together for my 14 month DS and that I'm 7 weeks pg, don't want too many upset hormones coursing through my body upsetting the baby. Anyway all I can do now is hope the next 6 months flies by, I've got my fingers and toes x that it goes by in a flash.
Hope everyone else has a fab halloween.

dinkystinky · 01/11/2011 09:51

Oh TDW, sending you huge hugs. Time is going to zoom by - you're so busy with work and DS you'll find he's back before you know it. Wishing your DH a safe time over there.

Had a belated halloween shock today - finally went to the Drs this morning about getting my thyroid checked - his scales say I'm now 70 kg so somehow have put on 6kg in 2 weeks Shock Really cant understand it but is safe to say I definitely wont reach goal by my birthday on Sunday Hmm. Getting the various bloods etc done on Thursday and once have the results back will be focussing with a vengeance on shedding that extra weight - no excuses. May have to start running [ugh emoticon] to do it but will do it.

knottyhair · 01/11/2011 10:27

Sending more hugs to you TDW. I can't imagine what it's like to be apart for so long and with him doing the job he does. But like Dinky says, you've got other things to focus on and hopefully it will go by quickly.
Dinky, that sounds very suspicious, good job you're getting your thyroid checked, that could well be the problem. Either that or the doctor has dodgy scales! Hope your cough gets better soon.

Decided to ease myself back into exercise gently after my break so did a Davina DVD this morning - 2 sessions of High Energy 5. I did enjoy it and bits of it were still hard (especially using 3kg weights) but I definitely prefer Jillian's approach. Soup and maybe half a sandwich for lunch, and grilled sardine fillets with honey sweet potatoes and watercress & apple salad for tea. Thank goodness we had a ton of trick or treaters last night so we are nearly completely cleared out of chocolate Grin. I ended up ransacking the cupboards for old toffees for the last stragglers. All the neighbourhood kids made a real effort though, especially a 5 year old vampire who bared his teeth at me and said "smell my feet" Grin.

OP posts:
dinkystinky · 01/11/2011 11:13

Lol at the cheesy foot vampire Knotty! Watercress and apple sounds lovely.

knottyhair · 02/11/2011 09:55

Morning! Managed 4 circuits of BFBM this morning - nice to be back in Jillianland Grin. Soup for lunch today, and indian chicken with rice & veg for dinner. How are you doing TDW? And how's your cough Dinky?

OP posts:
LadyBuzz · 02/11/2011 14:02

TDW hope you are OK lovely, I really hope it flies by for you.

knotty your headgear is fantastic Grin

I had a sneaky weight this morning and appear to have put on 3lbs Hmm AF should be due soon so i'm putting it down to that.
I really need to get my butt into gear though.

DS2 is 3 tomorrow and we are having a little fireworks party for him, I've tried to keep the food healthyish with a cottage pie and homemade lentil soup and fresh bread. But obviously there will be cake aswell Grin.

dinky I hope everything comes back clear for you and it is in fact just the docs scales that are out!

knottyhair · 03/11/2011 08:07

Morning! Happy Birthday to your DS LadyBuzz! Hope you have a lovely party, the food sounds gorgeous, and you've got to have cake on your son's birthday Smile! One of my oldest friends is coming down this morning with her 18 mth old DS so I'm frantically trying to toddlerproof my house - not easy when DP's tools are everywhere, there are holes in the floor, and lots of doors missing, not to mention the lack of stairgates! Never mind. I'm making bacon, bean & pasta soup for our lunch. Pork steaks with potatoes, veg & stewed apples for dinner later. Hope everyone has a good, if wet, day xx

justaminute · 03/11/2011 08:22

It's birthday season. Happy birthday wishes to Dinky and Ladybuzz junior. It's my ds's birthday at the weekend too. I bought a bar of chocolate last weekend to make some chocolate spider biscuits for him - involves sandwiching oreos with chocolate and liquorice for the legs - dcs had great fun making them at half term unfortunately the bar of chocolate has been eaten and replaced several times this week Blush. I'm a crazy chocolate eating lady this week - think af must be on it's way.

Really need to find my way back to the zone I'm feeling very flabby and heavy. Knotty could you move in with me for a week and cook me delish healthy food and shout at me to exercise in a Jillian style? Wink

dinkystinky · 03/11/2011 10:22

Happy birthday to your DS Ladybuzz - have a lovely party.

Good luck with the toddler Knotty - no need to work out today, the toddler will take care of it! Wink

JAM - what day is your DS's birthday (and thanks for the birthday greetings). My DH's is on Friday and mine is on Sunday and my sister's is a week later - November is an expensive month in the dinky household.

justaminute · 03/11/2011 10:39

Snap Dinky, November is expensive here too! SIL on Friday, DS on Sunday and my brother in 2 weeks. How spooky?!

dinkystinky · 03/11/2011 11:11

How funny Grin

knottyhair · 03/11/2011 14:50

Right JAM, get your mat & weights out, I'm tucking my ready bed under my arm and I'm on my way!

OP posts:
dinkystinky · 04/11/2011 09:30

Morning all on this very wet and soggy Friday. My feet got soaked coming in to work which cant be helping shift the never ending cold. Ho hum.

Weighed in at 10 stone 7.5lbs today - so less than the 70kg the drs office had me at but still not ideal weightwise and definitely not where I wanted to be for my birthday this month. Am taking it as a kick up the bum to get in the zone and be at the weight I want to be for xmas though. Off out tonight for DH's birthday - dinner followed by seeing Patrick Wolf at the Roundhouse which should be fun - then back into the zone with me.

Good luck for your weighins today.
