Hi, I’m on day 16, lost 9lbs so far! 🎉 I’m happy to join.
good luck!

Namechangewegovyjune26 · 02/09/2026 21:56

Good luck! I’m 8 weeks in, have lost 7kg ( or 15lbs) 🥰 Am about to start my third month sticking at 4mg as the suppression is still quite strong.

Autumnfun1 · 02/09/2026 22:09

Congratulations both that is really good to hear 🙂 when did you feel it start to suppress your appetite? Have you had any side effects. Great to hear you are getting on well.

I’m on week 7 and have lost 11lbs so far. On 4mgs and sticking with it for another month. I have stayed the same for the last week but haven’t put much effort in.

Jdonwh · 02/09/2026 22:28

I'm in, I start on Friday 😊

ChunkyMunky · 02/09/2026 22:33

I started about 3 weeks ago. No loss yet, but I’ve stopped gaining.

I have used Mounjaro previously and I’m only on 1.5mg pills at the moment so not feeling much yet, going to increase on my next order.

My suppression started quite quickly, I didn’t get much nausea until I went up to 4mg. It’s not been too bad, I haven’t actually been sick- just feel it if I wait too long to eat, or over indulge!

I found it really helpful to track calories for the first month so I could see how it affected my appetite and if I was eating enough - then also to see when the suppression was wearing off. I aimed for 1300 a day.

Namechangewegovyjune26 · 02/09/2026 22:36

My start weight was 74kg (5ft 1) and now at 67kg 🥳

Autumnfun1 · 02/09/2026 22:46

Welcome everyone 🙂 it will be good to support each other I guess we will all have different experiences but good to share handy hints.

I think I will have to log calories interesting to hear about nausea when haven't eaten for a while. You are doing great 🙂

Thanks! Appetite was suppressed pretty much from day one. Zero see effects too.

side effects

squidgem · 03/09/2026 06:47

I am on day 7 today. It took until day 4 to fully feel the effects of appetite suppression. Side effects I've had, from the start have been very thirsty. I had an awful headache yesterday, which came on after exercise so I think it's also linked to being dehydrated.
I've had 1lb weight loss, I expected more to be honest as I'm definitely eating less! I am hoping for a bigger loss next week.

MonkeyMargot · 03/09/2026 06:59

Hi all. I stopped mounjaro a month ago and started Wegovy pills (4mg) 5 days ago. So far I have not felt any effect on my appetite - still v hungry. Hoping it kicks in soon?

Autumnbeaches · 03/09/2026 07:29

I thought I hadn’t lost any weight (week 2 1.5) but have lost 3.4! I was at my absolute heaviest and doing everything ‘right’ when I started - homecoooked, no upf, am coeliac so no biscuits. A relief to turn the food noise off mostly!

Autumnbeaches · 03/09/2026 07:29

Oh - and a side effect - inflammation massively reduced in hip!

Haalan · 03/09/2026 07:48

Hi! Please can I join? It’s day two for me. I’m 18 minutes now into my 30 minute wait…..

I’ve actually had the pills for ages but been too scared to start them. Then I caught sight of my reflection in a window and realised I’m doing myself more harm by continuing the way I was!

I had had really bad burps (not sulphur or anything bit it’s been a bit strange). My stomach also feels a little bit off. I’ve got a slight headache but nothing unbearable.

I’m not sure if it’s helping my appetite yet!

GoldTie · 03/09/2026 07:52

I’m a month in and have lost 4 pounds. I’ve been a bit haphazard about taking it, I do every 2-3 days, as I was having an increase in migraines. A couple of times it hasn’t worked at all, I think because I didn’t wait the full 8 hours with empty stomach, it was 6.5 or so.

I’m pleased with it generally, it’s been a gentle ride, and I’m hoping the migraines were a coincidence. The suppression lasts a couple of days for me, at a light level. I was on MJ before and found it unbearably strong, so prefer this slower approach. I do need to watch what I eat better though.

maximc · 03/09/2026 07:59

I've been on the Wegovy pill for seven weeks. I previously lost 5.5 stone on Mounjaro injections but 9lbs had crept back on. I lost 3lbs in the first four weeks on 1.5, calorie tracking & not feeling too suppressed. I've now lost 6lbs in 3 weeks on 4mg & have had massive suppression. Being back at goal, I'm considering whether to switch to every other day or halving the pills to help maintain, as it would be nice not to have a Slimfast shake for lunch because I can't manage anything else.

iknowwhatyoudid · 03/09/2026 08:14

I am day 6 of starting 1.5mg. Nausea has hit massively this morning! I hate the feeling of Nausea, so really struggling! No weight loss yet, but can definitely notice a difference in appetite

Halving the pill is supposed to reduce the effectiveness, as the coating is compromised. I’ve tried both - halving, and taking it every other day. I did think halving worked, but have stuck with every other day as that works fine for me.

amusedpyjamas · 03/09/2026 09:06

Started last week, 5 days in and 2.5lb down. Felt nauseous the first couple of days but not too bad. Coffee is making me want to vom in the morning though. I really want to break bad habits and see this as a long term change. Scared of going back to old ways when I stop, but will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Im already taking collagen which is high protein but want to start some strength training again to maintain muscle mass - anyone doing any quick home workouts they recommended?

I spent the first few minutes after taking the first pill awaiting my imminent death! 😂🤦‍♀️. I’m just a ridiculous individual but I’m so pleased that I managed to take the first step.

I hope we have amazing success on this tablet!

TwilightAb · 03/09/2026 11:58

That would be me! Just ordered. Starting weight is 16 stone 12 and so a lot to lose! I'm peri menopausal and diet is not great due to food noise so hoping this will help with that. Have been doing more exercise over the last year and when I get my diet sorted its great, just not great at sticking at it. How are others preparing/prepared to take the tablets?
