Day 1 on wegovy pill would you like to join a support thread to support each other on this journey

The worst symptom atm is the acid. I am literally necking rennies by the packet! I’m also finding that I am hungry come the evening. I suspect I will go up to 4mg next month.

Yup same here, I avoid buying snacks that’s are unhealthy but it doesn’t matter if I wanted a snack I would find something, anything! And the same as @UncleColm I was wondering if that’s how it should be? I was offered a second helping of dinner tonight and just said “no thanks” without even thinking about it because I’d had enough.

I was also thinking today, would be interesting to consider how much money I’m saving by not buying snacks, extras etc. Just another reason to feel like the cost of the treatment is justifiable, as well as the health benefits.

I have definitely noticed I'm not reaching for snacks anymore and need to be mindful of remembering to eat which is strange as usually come 3pm by head would be bouncing off the table with fatigue and tiredness. Hoping to get to 80kg currently 93.9kg 🤞🏻 as of weigh in this morning.

I’ve been approved for my tablets today and they’re en route so can I join to have some people to hold me to account? I have 20-25kg to lose. I’m a bit apprehensive to start but I know I have to do this.

Week 2 starts today. I’ve lost 3kg in week one, which actually makes me doubt my scales more than anything. Still, there’s clearly been an impact. I’ve definitely noticed I don’t want to snack and my portions are smaller even when it’s my favourite meal! Side effects wise I’ve got off lightly, I have a slight headache but tbh that’s not infrequent anyway.

I was exactly the same. I was so scared to start as I expected to have horrible side effects.

However, it’s been absolutely fine. I’ve had a few minor digestive issues but nothing major and I feel like it is working. This AM for example, I literally couldn’t finish my breakfast.

Can I ask others who they order with and if they have to sign for the meds? I really don't want to stay in for several days while I wait for the postman. Would be even better if your company's package fits through the letterbox!

I ordered with Pharmacy2u first and their package fitted through the letter box, secondly with Numan and theirs didn’t fit through. Neither were signed for.

I forgot there was half a carton of chocolate ice cream in the freezer. I also chose salad over pizza when out because I couldn't imagine wanting all that heavy dough & cheese when there was a light fresh choice. It really is like being a different person.

7 days in and 3lbs down 😀 on the 1.5mg and side effects have been very minimal. Was at a baby shower yesterday and I had ordered my meal like 2 months ago, pleased to see i had ordered bruschetta to start and salmon and potatoes for main. Was delicious but I was stuffed and then had to run to the toilet not long after 😅

I’m coming up to the end of week two. Side effects are ongoing, mainly nausea and tiredness, bone crushing tiredness and waking in the night. Is this unusual? Will be likely get better?

If Royal Mail are the courier, you can see in the app before hand when you track the delivery if it will need a signature. Just in case you didn’t know.

My pills are arriving today, planning on starting tomorrow morning - 1.5mg. It's a stressful week, DC has the 11+, but in a way it might be good to take it and avoid the stress eating? I've been trying to keep to a calorie deficit and small meals this week to test things out.
