How easy is it to obtain Mounjaro online if slim?

I know this might be controversial but I’m interested to hear people’s options. I have a lot of friends who have managed to get monjaro online despite being slim. They just lie about their weight and height and if asked for photos they stick their tummy out to make them look bigger. I’m intrigued as to how they are going to manage monjaro - one says she is started on 2.5 dosage and then went up to 5mg and is going to stay on that until she loses a stone and then will wean herself off it. She is quite healthy and eats well and exercises but put on a stone and wants to lose it quickly in time for summer. Is this actually realistic? I’m not looking for people to comment saying how unethical it is - I just want to understand it more so I can understand her. Is it really that easy to get monjaro just by doctoring photos and lying about your weight? And is it really ok to take it for a while and then come off it (pressming you change any eating habits so you don’t put the weight back on? I pressume she will have to continue lying to the online pharmacy (she used voy) about her bmi as I’m sure they stop prescribing if your bmi is 22?

This is why I am curious about WLIs.

I lost about 2 stone 15 years ago and have maintained a healthy weight since but with menopause I am heavier than I should be. I am just finding it so wearing fighting against the food noise all the time and now there is this seemingly magical solution that could potentially cut it out, but it is dangling just out of my reach because I haven't let myself get obese.

Agree that most women with a BMI of 23 will not have stomach defintion but most women with 17-18% bodyfat WILL have stomach definition. It was more the point about carrying additional muscle. I’ve likely gained 8kg of muscle over the past 10 years.

Agreed - if I had used WLI from the v start of my weight loss journey when I was properly eligible I could still get them easily for maintenance at this weight and get down to BMI 20 totally within their acceptable limits. However because I didn’t sign up from the start technically I can’t unless I put all the weight back on first! I suppose partially a commercial decision to get you on them longer term? I only intend to use a month or 2 so I’m not an appealing commercial proposition.

Are you actually going to get WLIs?

I have gone through the questionnaires on a few of the reputable sites right through to the payment stage and am now being pestered with multiple emails every day urging me to start my weight loss journey. Admittedly I added a couple of kg to my weight but none of them have asked for pictures or any kind of proof.

I am hesitant because it is so expensive and I don't know how to find the dose that would shut off the noise.

I’m looking at low dosing too, but wary of locking into a long contract. I did the form on Voy and havent actually got to a stage where I have to submit a photo of anything.

There is no long contract just buy a pen and see how you. I find it best to buy 5mg pens and stretch them and then take a gap.

I’ve got them! Taken one dose. I did through voy, added a few kg, a couple of inches off height and just signed up for a one month rolling contract and cancelled it immediately. Somehow it only cost me £85 as I used a link in and email and a promo code (which it said I couldn’t use together but somehow accepted it). I had to send a photo but I do look overweight on my tummy esp at end of day so it got approved and was on doorstep next morning. It is crazy how easy it was.

@MeridaBrave could you tell me exactly what you do? I don’t have anyone in real life to ask, and my brain is hovering around this and keeps either melting or freezing, because it’s such unknown territory to me!

AFAIK they all ask you for evidence, usually it's a questionaire to start with (and to get your payment details!) but then it'll be ID, photos through their app or a video call.

@JoaNiic you can choose your plan, ie whether you sign up for one month or more, but the price is usually a lot for one month. They offer discounts if you agree to a contract. IIRC when I signed up with Voy a signed for 3 months - I didn't want any longer in case it didn't agree with me. The first month was £89, second around £150. 3rd month would be slightly more I think, if I agree to go up a dose or same again if not (that's for wegovy, mounjaro is more)

I’m sure in time those of us in this boat will be allowed. Makes me annoyed as I have friends allowed to maintain at 21 and I’m struggling to keep at 22/23 and it’s not getting any easier. The noise is there all the time and I’d do anything to drop that half a stone 😬

Interestingly I’ve heard some providers are allowing menopause as one of the medical conditions in their BMI plus medical conditions criteria. I wonder how many menopausal women could get high risk tummy areas down to the healthy zone with WLI, that can only be a good thing.

@coocoocachoop I agree it's a good thing, though not all providers require medical conditions at all for a prescription. I didn't have to have any for Voy, just a BMI of 26 and a consultation for them to be satisfied that I understood it was classed as off label and what that meant.

Yeah I know, but it’s not many providers currently so the menopause extension might open the market up a bit.

I buy from Swift. Can have between 4 and 8 weeks between pens .

Sorry Swift Doctor. I didn’t start with them but use for maintenance. I find them efficient / reasonably priced, and sensible £30 for an online consults and well worth it.

Nope. If you strength train you can maintain or even gain muscle mass.
It is not inevitable that’s person will regain weight. The depends entirely on how they eat when they come off
